Coldsmoke Cabin with Hot Tub - Colorado Rocky Mountains

Relax in this quiet mountain modern house, built in 2020 on 3.5 acres of wooded land in the heart of the Rocky Mountains in Valley of the Sun. A wonderful place for couples, families, and friends to enjoy the mountain air at 10,000 feet. Access to all Colorado has to offer: 14ier Hikes, World Class fly-fishing, Snowboarding/Skiing, backcountry access for a multitude of activities including side by sides / 4x4, snowmobiling, dirt bikes. After, unwind in the hot tub or lounge on the deck!

Main living is an Open plan: kitchen, living and dining with direct deck access. Mountain modern aesthetic! Gas fireplace supports this cozy atmosphere with both aesthetics and a heat source for the main living space. Electric base board heat is provided in each room, with individual t-stats so each bedroom can adjust the temp to suit individual preferences!

Kitchen is fully outfitted. Gas range and oven, microwave, toaster oven, crock pot, panini press, Dutch ovens, blender, knife sets, many options for pots and pans as well as serving dishes and place settings. Coffee and coffee maker, French press and tea kettle provided. Over 30 spices, cooking oils and basic condiments provided. Propane grill on deck provided with extra tank.

Plenty of glassware and plastic ware options provided. Plastic only near or in the hot tub!

Large deck with comfortable sectional and side chairs for a variety of seating options and a great place to enjoy the wildlife, mountain views and beautiful property.

Bathrooms are spacious and have towels, soaps, shampoo/conditioner and blow-dryer.

Bedrooms have a variety of bed arrangements - perfect for families or groups of friends! (see bedroom descriptions) Extra blankets and pillows provided!

Plenty of parking. Can hold multiple cars. Or truck with trailers (snowmobile, float boat, side by side, etc).

Wifi works great! Satellite Internet is standard in this mountain community. And yes, unlike some homes in the area, cell coverage is great as well. House sits on hill with clear view to sky to support satellite operations.

Hot tub is available for no added fees. We just ask you keep it covered when not in use. Extra hot tub towels provided.

Deck has large sectional lounge furniture and propane grill.

Gas fireplace in central living space adds extra coziness on cool days and nights.

Work space has sit stand desk and office chair!

2-smart TVs : living room and master bedroom

Laundry room with full sized washer and dryer with detergent provided. We realize mountain activities can be messy!

All properties in this are are on individual wells for water. Our well functions great! We have a full house water filtration system and added RO filtration at the kitchen sink and water dispenser in the refrigerator. So no need to bring bottled water!

We do require guests stick to the 6-guest maximum rule. This is determined by our septic system and county requirements for our short term rental license - not the size of house or number of available beds. We are fully licensed by Park County! Please don’t rent from those whom are not!

We highly recommend you purchase travel insurance if offered by VRBO at checkout to cover any losses due to illness or inclement weather as we do have a strict cancellation policy.

Snow removal in winter is provided for driveway, front walk, deck and hot tub access.
