"Mi padre alinearía el sol naciente con el muelle para un día perfecto". Nuestra cabina recientemente remodelada ofrece un pino totalmente nudoso, un plano de planta abierto y aireado con muchas ventanas, dos espaciosas habitaciones con camas queen size y una litera en la parte superior, baño con ducha de pie, gran sala de estar abierta con área para comer y cocina completa electrodomésticos de tamaño, y una lavadora y secadora. Un gran porche da a la orilla del lago con un hermoso patio junto al lago. Nuestra cabaña es una escapada encantadora, acogedora e impecable frente al lago que acomodará hasta una familia de cinco personas o dos parejas adultas. Los perros son bienvenidos

Convenientemente ubicado en el área de Millersport, estamos cerca de todo. Dé un paseo por la calle hasta la heladería casera de Weldon para disfrutar de un delicioso manjar. Hay restaurantes locales en Millersport, a poca distancia en auto o caminando, o quédese en casa y prepare su propia comida con vista al lago.

El lugar de vacaciones perfecto para toda la familia. Hay una zona poco profunda para que jueguen los más pequeños y aguas más profundas para nadar y flotar. Buckeye Lake también tiene una excelente pesca, ya sea en barco o desde la cubierta privada. Recomendamos que verifique los requisitos de la licencia de pesca local antes de su visita. Esta cabaña de troncos fue construida en la antigua Summerland Beach en 1946 a partir de troncos comprados en Michigan y llevados al lago Buckeye. Está ubicado frente al viejo hotel, donde el bote de remos llevaría a los pasajeros del parque de atracciones Buckeye Lake. Cozy Cabin

This place was amazing. Cozy cabin with spectacular lake views. The cabin was well furnished and comfortable and the owners provided almost any necessity imaginable. The lake view is spectacular and we were able to catch fish right from the dock. Plenty of dining options nearby. Great place with great owners!

Perfection

We were in town for our daughter’s wedding and decided to rent this cute little cottage. It was charming, very clean and nestled in a very quiet area of the lake. We are now talking about going back every year. Thank you for sharing your vacation home with us.

Lovely quaint cabin!

Cabin was beautifully decorated for fall and has all the amenities you could ask for. Location on the water was perfect for sunrise. Very quiet area and close to cute shops and wonderful coffee house. Would definitely stay here again.

Cute cabin for a relaxing getaway

This Buckeye Lake cabin was great for a weekend of relaxing on the lake with my family. Very clean and the property managers were very responsive to all of our questions. Walk to get ice cream and take a boat tour with Captain Buck!

Our stay at Buckeye Lake at Rising Sun.

Our stay at Buckeye Lake was very enjoyable. The cottage was clean and the lake views were awesome. Fishing right from the dock was fun caught a bunch of catfish. Took a Boat ride from Captain Buck Boat tours highly recommend . Overall had a Great time.

Lovely log cabin!

Great quiet location. House looked like it had recently been renovated, appliances looked brand new! Owners thought of everything a guest could need. We sat on the porch and watched the lake for hours, love it! Thanks for a wonderful visit!

Quaint house directly on the lake. Owners were lovely, House immaculately clean. We did a sunset cruise with Uncle Buck and highly recommend! Only feedback would be more lawn seating.

We had a wonderful time here. It was beautifully decorated, the hosts were very friendly and provided everything we could have needed. The property is beautiful as well. We spent many nights and mornings laying in the sun and watching the highly active fish and other wildlife. The beds were comfortable and had everything we needed in the kitchen, as well as a washer and dryer for our clothing! We will definitely be back to go fishing and boating in the future!

Comfortable Clean Cabin On The Water

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Larry and Susie's cabin on Buckeye Lake. It was our first time to this lake and it will hopefully not be our last. The cabin is a great size for a couple or a small family with children. Susie had it spotless when we arrived and even had a goodie basket with coffee pods and snacks! I went mainly to fish and my wife to relax and read. I took my boat and tied up to their dock. Fishing was great around the lake (I caught Blugill, Crappie, Saugeye,and Bass), but I had just as much fun catching Catfish right off the dock. There were numerous large Carp around the docks as well because they happened to be spawning when we were there. It's a little tight for parking a trailer at the cabin depending on the size of boat you have, but Larry is very accommodating and will help in any way he can, even storing your trailer at his house if need be. There is a lot to do in the area from hiking to bicycling to restaurants. Larry and Susie were probably the nicest most helpful people we've ever rented from and want to be sure that you enjoy your stay and return again.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING 5 STARS ARE NOT ENOUGH!!!!!!!

I can't say enough about the Rising Sun log cabin. It was truly one of the BEST properties my family and i have ever stayed. Larry and Susan are the most kind, pleasant, and down to earth Hosts. The cabin is BEAUTIFUL. The lake is breathtaking. We relaxed and fished every day. Actually caught a lot of catfish. We were able to take some home. The house is immaculate. It was spotless. We were very impressed with how clean it was. Just not on the surface. The house felt clean. The pictures do this home no justice. The proximity to the lake is literally just out the front door. We had snacks and coffee to welcome us. Larry and Susan really made sure you felt like another family member coming to their home. If i could give 100 stars I would. The home had EVERYTHING you would need for a comfortable stay. We will definitely return. Larry and Susan, Thank you so much for welcoming my family to your home. You two are the absolute BEST!!!!!! day

Rustic Relaxation

Really enjoyed our stay at Larry and Susan's awesome, cozy, lakeside spot. We had beautiful fall weather to enjoy the views from both the back porch and from inside the warm cabin. Loved the 1940's ambiance and decor to go with all of the usual conveniences of a furnished vacation home. Spent a lot of time hiking around the lake and nearby parks. Loved how close we were to the city of Columbus as well.

Beautiful & Relaxing Stay

Beautiful home, the view was amazing, the home has everything you need and the owners are just the kindest most accommodating people ever! Larry and Susie went out of their way to make sure my stay was nothing short of amazing. I could not recommend this home more. Every little detail, the location, clean, stocked with all the amenities and did I mention how amazing Larry and Susie were? Lol Will definitely be back!

Buckeye Lake getaway

Beautiful cabin stay at Buckeye Lake, we enjoyed fishing from the dock and our boat ride watching the sun set. We have family living near by and we really had a good visit. Susie and Larry are wonderful hosts. Thanks

In 1945 my father, his brother and two uncles returned WWII, and all had received the Purple Heart. As my mother and father were driving around the Buckeye Lake my mother found the lot was for sale . At this time it was still being used as the beach for the hotel located behind the cabin. She convinced my grandfather to purchase the land and he purchased the cabin in the state of Michigan and it was constructed on the beach here at Buckeye Lake . This was used as a summer cabin and a place where all the families would gather. This was my favorite place to come to and play, stay all night and wait for that 'rising sun' so I could get out there and fish and go boating.

To my parents this location had the very best view of the lake and the Buckeye Lake paddle wheel boat would unload the passengers from the Buckeye Lake Amusement Park to the hotel behind the cabin. To protect our cabin, this is a smoke free home.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Location. A short distance from Interstate 70. Close to the State Park for the use of the boat ramps. It is the only private drive on this end of the lake, so there is no traffic for noise or safety. The fishing out front is great and the Bald Eagles love to fish out in front of the cabin. This bay is always the calmest water on the lake. Location Location Location.
