Pleasant lake cottage experience!

The cottage is newly remodeled and updated. The bath is spacious, and the washer and dryer are very helpful. There is a view of the lake from the front deck. The kitchen is very well equipped. It is a walkable and bikeable neighborhood.

Lovely little getaway

My 3 year old walked in and exclaimed “this is so beautiful!” This was the sweetest little lake cottage. Perfect size for our family of four. Everything was clean and well maintained. I appreciated the amenities like the WiFi, washer/dryer, and coffee pot. The hosts were very communicative, explaining the easy check in process. I loved that they had information about the house and check out process posted on the wall. This was such a pleasant experience and made our stay in Millersport so much more enjoyable. Would definitely try to stay here again next time we’re in town!

Buckeye Lake Cottage

Delighted with my stay

I stayed 5 nights while attending a workshop in Baltimore. The cottage was clean and quiet. I brought a desk lamp (recommended in a previous review) as there are only ceiling lights in the kitchen and living area. I enjoyed being able to do a load of laundry the last evening and go home with a suitcase full of clean clothes.

Cute little place

The house is small and cute. Beds are comfortable. The bedrooms have no closet or dresser but a metal stand with hangers and a couple of shelves. Since we rented for 2 weeks it was hard to manage our stuff. Additional hooks in the bathroom would have helped with hanging towels. The place is dark - could use a light on the desk. It needs some cozy touches like pillows for the couch and maybe a throw. That said, I would rent again as it was very convenient to the workshop place. Owner was responsive.

Beautiful

This was such a nice place and the location on the lake is lovely. Dave was so kind to accommodate us on short notice for an unexpected family funeral. We would love to stay for a longer visit in the future. Highly recommended.

Wonderful Property

This property was extremely clean, so cute and exceeded our expectations! Check in was easy as we were given an access code the day of and had no issues getting in and the property was even ready a little early, which was nice. The kitchen had all the necessary tools to cook a meal, would recommend ice trays for the freezer. The neighborhood was quiet and the neighbors were friendly. The bathroom was nice and enjoyed the extra amenities they had in the shower. Not far from Columbus, Easton Shopping, downtown Newark and Hocking Hills State Park (which was our favorite). The hosts were always available and answered questions quickly. Would definitely recommend this property for anyone staying in the area!

Very relaxed setting and right by the water! Brooks Park Wetland is within walking distance (and it includes a public boat ramp). Both Alexander's Landing and Buckeye Lake Marina are nearby.

Quiet and relaxed neighborhood. Buckeye Lake is comprised of 3 separate municipalities, and we feel Millersport, where this property is located, is the most charming. Walking Distance to Brooks Park Wetland and Public Boat Ramp. Near Alexander's Landing Marina.
