BIENVENIDOS A "OFF THE BEATEN PATH"
Una hermosa casa ubicada en Pennsylvania Wilds en 15 acres privados. Le encantará la privacidad de esta casa. Ubicado en un carril privado, con absolutamente ninguna vista del tráfico, sin otras cabañas a la vista.

 La cabina se configura cómodamente con un
reina cama de registro en el dormitorio principal y el otro dormitorio tiene una cama de registro doble y una cama de registro doble.
Cada habitación tiene un ventilador de techo y aire acondicionado en los meses de verano si es necesario.

Dos baños completos en el hogar. Uno tiene una hermosa bañera de hierro fundido. Proporcionamos todas las toallas de baño, toallas de mano y ropa de lavado. Jabón suave en dispensadores de oso en cada uno de los baños, por lo que no es necesario empacar jabón de manos, ¡lo tendremos disponible para usted!

La cocina tiene todo lo que pueda necesitar: platos, utensilios, ollas, sartenes, tostadora, batidora, licuadora, refrigerador, estufa, horno de microondas y cafetera. Toallas y paños de cocina están en los cajones. Asientos para 8 en la mesa.
Envolturas de plástico y papel de aluminio suelen estar allí también.
Se suministran sábanas y toallas, además de una lavadora y secadora.
También ofrecemos productos de papel lo suficiente como para comenzar.

Se puede disfrutar de tanta diversión, asando s'mores junto a la hoguera o paseando por el bosque disfrutando de los sonidos de la naturaleza. Disfrute de la cena sentada afuera en la mesa de picnic después de un hermoso día en la histórica ciudad de Wellsboro o paseando por el Gran Cañón.



Tenemos una extensa biblioteca de DVD y muchos libros para leer. ¡Juguetes, juegos y rompecabezas para todos!


Nuestro porche está equipado con rockeros de troncos para que pueda disfrutar de su
café de la mañana o un vaso de té helado por la tarde. Mira los colibríes en el comedero.


Le encantará el aire libre y los hermosos jardines que rodean esta cabaña.

La cabina tiene WiFi y Dish para los 2 televisores.

Everything was perfect. Words can" t express the gorgeous property. Perfectly set on top of the mountain, and just secluded enough to enjoy the sounds of nature. Our dogs had fun sniffing around and rolling in the beautifully groomed meadow. Lots of wildlife to enjoy too. We saw deer, all types of birds, including two types of hummingbirds. The cabin was very comfortable; beds,furniture, and the quaint dining area. The owners were awesome and easily contacted when needed.

Off the beaten path but cabin had everything we needed. Easy drive to Wellsboro for groceries. Close to Hills Creek State Park. Very enjoyable stay. If looking for a quiet place with the amenities you need, this cabin is highly recommended.

Just what the doctor ordered!

Peace and tranquility! This place is gorgeous inside and out! We love remote vacations. This didn’t disappoint! We were welcomed with nice cold water in the refrig! Loved the comprehensive kitchen. We didn’t cook a lot but when we did everything was there and in great shape! Pots and plans are generally hit or miss in these stays but here they were in excellent shape. There is a wonderful porch for even more relaxing. Everything was clean, beds were very comfy with extra everything. Great location, close to pine creek trail and Wellsboro and to local maple syrup and winery producers.I do suggest you go in a 4 wheel drive since the lower driveway can be a challenge… But it would not deter us from returning. overall we loved staying here and saw lots of wildlife and most importantly we rejuvenated.

Peaceful Cabin in the Woods!

Great cabin in an amazing location! Cabin was very clean when we arrived and had everything we needed for our anniversary getaway. Bed in master was very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Dogs loved the huge yard and had so much fun chasing the ball and just running around. Sitting area was a great place to read and the furniture was comfortable. Thanks Penny!

Fall retreat

Very private cabin. Was close to parks and the property was a great place to relax. We saw some deer and had a bonfire and looked at all the stars. Our dogs loved exploring. Only wish the weather was better. Got one sunny day but the other 2 rained

Peaceful and relaxing

It was very quiet, peaceful and relaxing staying here. There was such a great view of the sky at night with no other lights around. Very secluded cabin. Loved it. We will definitely come back.

Wonderful

The location was beautiful! Plenty of space to run around, play games, enjoy campfires, and room to run for our dog! The cabin was cozy and welcoming. We were very impressed how clean it was and well kept. The owners were top notch and helpful to answer any questions we may have. We highly recommend this homestead. Hope to be back in the future!

Fantastic getaway in Tioga County!

This property is so well-appointed, we needed very little to make it absolutely perfect (ie grill utensils, but we made due!) The covered porch was our favorite spot. Can't wait to visit again!

Rental Cabin

This rental isn't handicap accessible. We had to have a temporary hand rail built in order to get into cabin. Toilets are very low. Beds are very hard. We had to buy memory foam mattress, in order to sleep. Cabin had alot of dog hair and cobwebs. Need to have a turn around at cabin. Have to back up to barn to turn around. Access to laundry down stairs hard to get to. Having wild life was a good thing daily. Decor inside was nice. Need to have a couch. Biggest issue is this needs to be handicap accessible

Post Independence Day Visit

Second time staying here. Very remote and quiet. LOVE the huge yard for the dogs to romp around. Only downside was the A/C was challenged to keep up with the unusually hot temperatures.

Total Privacy

We had such a relaxing time during our stay. Our dogs absolutely loved running around outside and it was great to watch the hummingbirds, deer, and other wildlife on the property. Great communication with Penny as well. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

A haven on the hillside

The perfect cabin for a trip to the mountains for some much-needed respite for me & my dog! This off the beaten path cabin was a perfect spot to get away from the normal hustle & bustle -- located on beautiful & quiet grounds that offers time & space to unplug and reconnect with nature. Besides the large scaping property, this cabin is conveniently located near many local state parks, hiking trails, lakes & local towns -- all of which we made sure to explore & enjoy during our stay. The Morans (hosts) were so inviting & made our trip a dream -- thank you for being so welcoming & thoughtful! We were sad to leave when our stay was over, but we look forward to a future trip to this lovely cabin!

Such a wonderful getaway and wonderful hosts

The photos don't do justice to this lovely cabin and its secluded setting. Great beds and well-equipped kitchen, comfortable layout, lots of light, and very much like a home. We stayed in February and got a little snow and lots of cold weather. The cabin was snug and cozy, the back porch bracing but beautiful! I'd love to visit in warm weather and rock on the porch for hours. Note that the sky around the cabin is big enough to see stars - no need to travel to Cherry Springs, and Rob and Penny thoughtfully keep a telescope in the cabin!

Special place, very quiet secluded comfy

Peggy is a great host. Her cabin is ideal for a secluded getaway with all the comforts you need. I only wish we had a new moon since I am sure the skies would be fantastic.

Private Getaway

We ended up staying an additional nite. Private, quiet with an endless amount of hiking & natural sight seeing options nearby. Spent alot of time on the covered porch💕. Penny was very pleasant & easy to communicate with…our dog loved it as much as we did!! We will definitely return!

Private getaway

This cabin was cute, cozy and very clean! It had everything we wanted and was quite secluded; loved the peace and quiet. We were close enough to Wellsboro and hiking the grand canyon. We will be back!

Secluded cabin in the Pennsylvania Wilds

This is a very comfortable cabin tucked away in a secluded setting near the PA Grand Canyon. The cabin is off a good but little traveled gravel road and is set back on a large field. The cabin is decorated in a "black bear" motif that's very appropriate for the location. The back porch is a particularly nice spot to relax on. Within about a 15 minute drive you can reach the start of the Pine Creek Trail, one of the premier Rails-to-Trails in the country. We biked it every day. You're also close to swimming, water sports, boating or fishing at the Ives Run Rec area, a very nice site run by the Corps of Engineers, at Hidden Hills SP or along Pine Creek itself. The nearby town of Wellsboro has stores and restaurants for when you're not enjoying the outdoors. If you want a low key vacation, this is a great place.

Pleasant, peaceful stay

The cabin was beautiful, clean and comfy. A storm knocked out the power and Penny was highly responsive and involved. We enjoyed our stay very, very much!!!

Picturesque, Gorgeous property

You cannot beat the sunrise and sunsets on this property. It is absolutely gorgeous! They thought of everything to include washer/dryer and cleaning supplies. Walking the dog was a joy around the property and down the road. This is a little slice of PA paradise.

Peace and quiet!

Just returned from a 3 night stay at this lovely cabin. After months of stress, it was wonderful to get away and experience some peace and quiet with all the comforts of home within hours. Penny, the owner was wonderful to work with and the cabin was very clean, comfortable and well-stocked with all essentials and lots of little extras. We enjoyed chilling on the back porch after our hikes and making dinners in their well-equipped kitchen. Nights are quiet there and we had some good weather for star-gazing both at the cabin and down at Cherry Springs State Park. It's a great place to get away from it all, but still be within 30 minutes of "civilization" .

When we are at the cabin, we enjoy the time together as a family. Just to go outside and walk is a great pleasure. We enjoy our coffee on the log rockers on the porch watching the hummingbirds.
