Wellsboro is home to the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania, visit Leonard Harrison State Park or Colton Point State Park for the breathtaking overlooks and hundreds of miles of hiking trails. Enjoy 87 miles of fishing or kayaking on Pine Creek. The historic Pine Creek Rail Trail that was once a railroad bed offers 62 miles perfect for bike riding, walking, cross country skiing, or horseback riding. Cherry Springs State Park offers stargazing at its finest, stare up at the truly dark sky and see thousands of stars, constellations, or the Milky Way. Whether you visit Wellsboro for the endless outdoor adventures like hunting, fishing, skiing, or the small hometown feel of our beautiful Main Street absolutely full of local artisan shops, restaurant's, wine tasting, and unique shopping opportunities, there is something here for everyone to enjoy.

Fountain View II sleeps 2 guests comfortably with 1 bedrooms. Offering a queen size bed. Also a cozy office space. There is 1 bathroom with a shower, washer/dryer, ironing board & iron. The kitchen offers a stove, microwave refrigerator, Keurig, dishes, cookware, and cutlery. A comfortable living room with TV/cable and a dining table.

Parking:
1 designated on site parking space available for 1 vehicle located into the driveway and on the right. Number "2" parking space. All other parking spaces on the property are reserved.

Free on street parking located within one block of rental for any additional vehicles

Complimentary amenities include a limited supply of paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, laundry detergent, dish soap, and trash bags. Linens and towels provided. Please be prepared to bring any other items you or any other guests might need during your stay.

Great location in a charming town. Easily walkable to restaurants and shops. Great location for a visit to Pine Creek Gorge, which was beautiful. Also, easy drive to Cherry Spring State Park for spectacular stargazing. The apartment was super cute, clean, and exactly as shown in the photos. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our weekend stay.

Kristen was great to work with. The apartment was very well stocked and comfortable. It was an easy walk into town for restaurants. We would stay again if visiting the area.

Kristen is really great to work with. Everything in the apartment was clean and well taken care of. It was the first cold night of the season and Kristen made sure we had enough heat, fixing a slight issue immediately and completely! The location is great and the property is beautifully kept, inside and out. This was our second stay here and we hope to rebook soon!

Great Location

The property is centrally located in Wellsboro. Shops and restaurants are within walking distance. Our rental was on the second floor and was quite nice and very comfortable.

1st Weekend in May in Wellsboro

Wonderful relaxing stay at this spacious, well-equipped apartment. The location is great. If it hadn’t been raining we would have walked to most of the shops and restaurants in town. We look forward to staying there the next time we visit Wellsboro.

Location location location

Right by the park, so easy to walk into downtown Wellsboro for some shopping, a quick drink, or bite to eat. Clean and quiet. I would definitely stay here again!

Delightful Apartment

We had a delightful week long stay in Fountain View II. It is located on a park with a charming fountain. The lodging was comfortable, clean, & spacious. Shower had great water pressure, washing machine helped minimize packing, & kitchen was well stocked with coffee & dishes. We walked around town & neighborhoods every day. The purpose of our visit was family & this gave us a welcome respite each evening. We look forward to a return visit!

Great location, and nice owners!

Situated right on the green, its' hard to beat this location. All my old haunts were within easy walking distance. Also a quick drive to Harrison, Colton Point, Darling Run trailhead, and, of course, the Big Falls swimming hole. This residence is an interesting historic building in the heart of a historic region. We had everything we needed. Really enjoyed our stay.

Visit to PA Grand Canyon

This was a wonderful home in a perfect location in Wellsboro PA. Short drive to many state parks and trails. The town of Wellsboro was a treat to explore. The home has a very spacious living area and is in walking distance to every attraction in town. We will definitely be back

Excellent Second Stay!

This was my second visit to Fountain View. This time I stayed in the upstairs apartment and enjoyed it as much as the first visit. My time there is spent working on a nearby property so having a place to come back to every night that is comfortable and has great amenities is important and again they did not fail to impress. You can tell the hosts take great care with the property and they are easy to get in touch with. Location is picturesque and convenient to restaurants, stores and sights.

Excellent place to stay

First off the host was absolutely amazing!!! She communicated from the beginning and the end to make sure we had everything we needed!! This place has everything you could ever need!! Cozy and spacious we were very comfortable! Close to town and within walking distance of restaurants and all of the small shops in Wellsboro plus a small park located across the street to simply enjoy the outside! Not to mention the short drive to the PA Grand Canyon and other nearby parks!! Over all, we were highly pleased with our stay!!!

What a beautiful town! Staying at the Fountain View allowed us to walk to everything in the town! The Fountain View 2 was very clean and nicely equipped. Kristin our host , replied to all of our questions immediately. Very, very nice. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Spacious, clean and great view!

It was a pleasure staying at Fountain View II. When we arrived, everything was so clean and well kept. The kitchen was very well appointed and was a nice size. The rooms- especially the living room/dining area, were very spacious and well laid out. Everything was very well lit, with options for lower lighting too. Our host was very accommodating and did her best to make sure our stay was pleasant and that we had whet we needed. Wellsboro is beautiful in the fall and we couldn’t have found a better location to enjoy it all.

Fountain View II

Our stay at Fountain View II could not have been better! Not kidding when they say close to everything, downtown was a block away, we walked through town, to great restaurants (Wellsboro House, The Steak House, Wellsboro Diner, the Creamery,) all amazing! The show (Running on Jackson - a tribute band to Jackson Browne) we were fortunate to see at the Deane Performing arts Center was outstanding! Fountain View II is exactly how it is pictured, very clean. The only thing we missed was a toaster and a box of tissues. Everything else was stocked. Kristen was easy to get in touch with, although we had no need for anything. We would stay again. Great place! Thank you!

Perfect location to test drive Wellsboro for retirement! Fountain View II is located steps away from downtown and has a wonderful view of the town green. Very spacious for two people and has the basics for a very comfortable stay. Location is convenient for day trips to Corning, Galeton, and Cherry Springs State Park. Book during no moon for views of the Milky Way at Cherry Springs!

Two very minor things:a) There was no salt shaker. b) There are no instructions for the television ---- It showed weak Signal. My wife noticed when we were leaving That The cable to the television appeared to be unplugged
