No se necesita coche ya que las maravillosas playas del Mar Menor y el concurrido centro de la ciudad se encuentran a 10 minutos a pie.
La villa cuenta con tres dormitorios, tres salones, dos comedores, un baño más un baño con ducha, dos cocinas y tres terrazas.
La Villa tiene una "Suite de cubierta superior" separada, que es un anexo independiente que cuenta con dormitorio, cocina, salón, cuarto de baño y una terraza privada.

Had a really nice stay . The area is quite and friendly. The strip could do with more restaurants.

We hired a car as always. As a family we like to explore surrounding areas. Murcia is a beautiful region.

House Hunting

The property was clean, comfortable and well positioned for local haunts as well as when we wanted to venture further afield. Plenty of room for us (5) and the private pool was a blessing when it came to keeping the children occupied. We would be more than happy to stay here again.

Fantastic villa in a fabulous location

Villa was spotlessly clean when we arrived. Very spacious lots of seating areas. Location very easy to reach all amenities and the beach. Weather was very hot so air conditioning was a real bonus as was the pool. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back, we had a wonderful stay.

Wonderful villa, fantastic location

We’ve just had a fantastic holiday at this villa. The location was perfect for us not having a car - near to the main town, beaches and supermarkets. Plenty of places to eat and drink and get out and about. More importantly for us with a child with special needs the villa was equipped for staying in - pool, air con, countless films and great kitchen set up for cooking indoors. Many thanks to Paul, the fabulous Christine and Pepe the taxi driver.

This is a beautifully presented property perfectly located for access to all of the attractions of Los Alcazares. Along with my family we enjoyed a fabulous holiday here in July 2024, the house itself has everything you need with a great selection of indoor and outdoor areas and an excellent private pool. Paul is a great owner, easily contactable and replies swiftly with detailed answers, Christine the property manager is excellent and is always on hand to offer any help that is required. We can't wait to plan our next trip back to this property.

Overview

Nice property, good area. Just two things. Third bedroom definitely needs an air con unit, the fan is inadequate. Also the outside areas could be improved with some plants.

Fabulous property, quiet area close to strip, lovely pool.

Just gorgeous, back from a 2 week stay. Christine was there to greet us on arrival and explained everything. She was so polite and welcoming. Pepe met us at the airport and kept an eye out for our delayed flight. We had a fabulous stay despite the high temperatures. Its in a quiet area, close to the strip and msny big supermarkets just up the road! The separate 1 bed upstairs suited our 16 yr old son, he was delighted. Pool so warm and clean, and well maintained. We had a problem with the fridge, that was replaced the next day. Overall v relaxing.

very good villa

This is the 3rd different villa we have used in the last 12 months in this area and it compares well with the others we have used.Inside decor is bright and modern,the upstairs suite is really nice.The pool although small is adequate for the number who will be staying at the property.The location is good being approx 10 mins from beach,the strip,and a number of supermarkets.The villa is very good but i do have a couple of little niggles that need to be seen to which i think would help improve it even more.The upstairs suite has a modern flat screen tv but this did not work during our stay.The small kitchenette in the suite has various appliances but only 1 power point,and the fridge was not within reach of it.The two single beds had poor mattresses on which would have been ok for small kids but not for teens or adults.There is games consul advertised as being at property so our 15 yr old was gutted that there wasnt one.Last of all i was told just before departure of a cleaning fee of 105 euro,i was shown this on the website but i have looked again since returning home and can still find no mention of this on the website and no mention of it on all the paperwork i have printed off,if this fee is correct it should be shown on booking form along with the price and deposit because this is a large amount that adds a lot to the total cost of the villa.

A very enjoyable stay!

The booking process was very easy and communication with the owner prior to our stay was fluent and prompt. The Villa was lovely and spacious and how I had imagined it from the images on the booking website. There were a few issues on our arrival with cleanliness but this was rectified immediately when reported to Diana the property manager. Maybe more thorough cleaning checks need to be made during the time between bookings to ensure cleanliness standards are maintained. That aside, the Villa was amazing, everything you needed was available and it’s location was central to the shops (a supermarket and chemist around the corner and Aldi and Lidil 5 min walk up the road), bars, beaches and the main strip. We had small children and even on the very hot days, they managed the walk to wherever we were headed. The villa boasts a pool which we used and enjoyed daily. The children both said this was the best bit of the holiday and was cleaned and checked regularly. On the occasion where we had problems with the pool, the cleaning company would attend the same day to rectify. The upstairs apartment was lovely and totally separated with an external staircase but due to the lack of a television up there, the television in the villa had to be shared. We appreciated the efficient air conditioning in the villa due to 40+ temperatures and although the twin bedroom lacked an air con unit, we managed to keep the room cool using the unit in the master bedroom. Unfortunately we were unable to use the sun awning on the patio as it was taped up (as mentioned in a review dating back to 2017 ) so maybe this needs to be fixed and maintained or removed. We were a family of 6 and we all left the villa feeling very happy, relaxed and hopeful to return so we would certainly recommend this as a holiday destination 😃

Lovely villa, pool a nice bonus. My daughter loved the upper suit, with it's own bathroom and small kitchen area. Great proximity to supermarkets (the trolly was a great idea), beach and restaurants.

Family Holiday

The villa was ideal for our family holiday, everything was as described and was great for a relaxing break. Having rented in the area previously, it was an ideal base and only a short walk to shops, restaurants and bars. The pool is larger than it looks on the photos and was used daily well into the evenings. Contact with Paul the owner was great and he was very helpful throughout. Thanks Paul. The villa is highly recommended by us.

A villa with a safe, warm pool. Perfect for small children

We travelled as a 3 generation family with 3 small children at the end of October. The heated pool was a massive success as it has steps in, that babies can play on in shallow water, and gates can be locked to allow little ones to run outside freely without worries of them falling in. The villa itself was clean and comfortable with plenty of hot water and a good supply of towels, even pool towels. There was plenty of space although disjointed with the stairs being outside. The pool never got any sun but the roof terrace was a good sun trap. The kitchen had everything we needed. We all enjoyed our stay although I found the location to be too residential with high density housing. There are a couple of bars nearby and an excellently stocked supermarket but the nearest restaurant stopped serving food at 4pm so it was a car ride for an evening meal. I found the gated streets and barred windows everywhere to be rather scary and it made us very careful about keeping doors locked at all times.

Four months in Los Alcazares

Having stayed in the property for four months, we found a number of positives along with a couple of negatives. This was our fourth year of long term rentals in various places, so hopefully this will be constructive. Pluses within the house, clean and tidy, kitchen with first class white goods, conservatory great space especially for the grandchildren, swimming pool enjoyed by everyone, upstairs beach suite was a massive plus. On the negative side the bathroom is dated and in need of updating, the neighbours were particularly inconsiderate with the television on very loud until 2.00 a.m. most nights and this backed onto the downstairs bedrooms a major problem when the grandchildren stayed. On a personal note we thought the property had an excess of soft furnishings and being honest the property as it stands is more suitable for one or two week rental rather than a long term stay. Having said that the property managers were only a phone call away, and Casa del Mar is ideally located within five or ten minutes from all amenities the beach and beach bars, supermarkets and a number of bars and excellent restaurants.

❤️Fantastic, family friendly, holiday home from home!❤️

Beautifully designed and very comfortably furnished villa, perfect for a family. We just got back from a week in this lovely home and couldn’t be more pleased. Very well equipped with everything you could possibly need to make it a comfortable and stress free holiday. Diana (the housekeeper) and her husband were very welcoming and friendly, and had everything ready for us on arrival included a lovely warm pool, and all the info on the local area and where we could find everything we needed. The house has more than enough towels, bedding and pillows and the kitchen is excellently equipped. The bed in the master room was so comfy I had the best nights sleep I’d had in years. The twin room was beautiful and very cosy for our 2 small children, although 2 adults would fit just as well in there. The upstairs suite was fantastic for my older son and would comfortably accommodate a couple with even enough space for a travel cot, as well as its own private kitchenette, en suite and roof terrace. This villa has all the home comforts you could want, making our holiday very relaxing. The pool is a nice size for a family and there is an abundance of inflatables, goggles, sun loungers and pool/beach towels available. We had a couple of teething troubles with the pool heating (because the water level had dropped slightly) but this was rectified within a few hours meaning we could still use it that day (this was the kids favourite part of the whole holiday and made very good use of it). Diana was readily available should we need to contact her, and was happy to help with any queries about the area. On Saturday there was a huge market 2 streets away, which was a nice stroll with some lovely fresh produce, souvenirs, home wares etc. On the next corner is a lovely coffee shop/ bar with fantastic pastries and the biggest croissants you’ve ever seen (this was a daily treat for us). The beach is beautiful and just a short walk away, with a few lovely little bars/cafes scattered along the vast promenade. There is an English high street of bars, cafes and restaurants and souvenir shops about ten minutes walk away, where you can get a very nice and reasonably priced meal of anything from a Sunday roast to a brilliant steak and a great English breakfast. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and Los Alcazares and it’s community is just warm and welcoming. Our 4yr old daughter has called it our home in Spain 😊 We will definitely be back again.

Fantastic villa

This is our 2nd stay at this lovely villa. It is so well equiped and clean. The owner is so happy to help with all your needs and has a lovely couple who look after the property in Spain who are willing to help with anything you may need. The beaches are lovely as is the resort too, very friendly people we had a lovely 2 weeks there did not want to come home, well worth a visit.

Myself my husband, son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren stayed at this property we had a lovely holiday it was easy to book up with the help of the owner Paul who replies to you very prompt with answers to all your questions. Tania and lee look after you when you are there and they are very helpful and always on hand if you need any help or information. Lee collected us from airport and gave us a short tour around advising us where to go. The villa has everything you need, the kitchen is fully equipped and up to a high modern standard. The pool is great and a nice size the grandchildren as well as the adults loved it. The beach suite upstairs is very modern bright and like downstairs all very comfortable and relaxing. TV has English channels so children can chill out of the sun. The villa is in a lovely area quiet enough to come back to sleep but easy walking distance to lots of bars/restaurants, a fair and markets. Also walking distance to a sandy safe beach for children. There is a lidl within walking distance too and another supermarket 5 minutes away that is good too and reasonably priced .Overall this is a lovely villa with everything you need for a perfect family holiday great location, the rest is up to you to enjoy and have some fun!! Looking forward to returning next year.

Enjoyable stay

Our family of 5 adults stayed at this villa in June 2017. Paul the owner answered loads of questions before I confirmed the booking, which was very helpful. We Were picked up by Lee who along with his wife Tania runs the management side of things. He escorted us to the villa giving us keys and explaining that the door handle was missing but this woul be sorted and he would send someone round the.next dthis wasn't fixed when we left. I texted Tania on the first day to say there were a couple of issues and these were resolved the same day. The double bedroom downstairs is of a good size, but it doesnt have very good natural light. The twin room is very small with no air conditioning and not really suitable for a grown adult, my son who is 23 struggled all week to get some sleep, as there was only a ceiling fan in this room, and this in no way helped with the heat. The upstairs suite is rather deluxe in the size of the bedroom and bathroom plus kitchen, much bigger with lots of natural light, air con, along with your own terraced area which has 2 sun beds and a table and chairs for 2 people, this suite feels quite seperate to the house and at times we struggled with this as we were there as a family and wanted to enjoy our time with each other . There are 3 table and chairs sets for 6 people, 1 in the dinning room, 1 at the front in the conservatory and 1 outside the kitchen door. Overall we had a really nice stay, we did struggle to fit all 5 adults around the pool so we separated and 2 of us used the upper suite. None of us figured out how to work the showers out the whole time we were there, it was either freezing cold or scolding hot. The villa itself is around 10mins walk from the square, the Saturday market is on your doorstep, there is a Parking area if you hire a car. Villa nicely done inside with some lovely features, but I do feel certain areas need addressing, Like adding a mirror and a hairdryer in the upper suite, along with some coasters for the bedside drawers. More mats for the tables or a tablecloth., I also feel that the Cushion covers for the beds and chairs looked like they could do with being replaced, and there was not enough seat covers for all the outside dinning chairs or seats which resulted in us bringing a chair down from the upper suite. We also found that the awning was broken, so could not be used. That said we did enjoy our time at the villa and just got on with our holiday.

The villa was modern, very clean, everything was very well thought out, even down to spare batteries, matches and plasters Lee and Tania were very helpful. Highly recommended.

Lovely Villa in great location

My family and I 2 adults and 2 children have just returned after spending an amazing week at this villa, I would highly recommend this to someone with children, having its own private pool was great for the children and kept them entertained, there was plenty of toys and inflatables already their and sun loungers so you can relax and read a book while the children play safely. There is also a play station 3 with plenty of games so when they need a break from the pool they are still entertained, making your life easy and making it a very relaxing holiday. There is also a BBQ which is great for enjoying your evenings outdoors. The Villa is very well equipped with everything you need and the air conditioning is a must have and works efficiently. The villa is in a great location walking distance to the beach with its lovely warm water and sand and plenty of beach bars to chose from. The high street is also within a 5 minute walk and has plenty of shops, restaurants and bars to chose from, all the food is fantastic and reasonably priced making it a very affordable holiday. There is a market on a Saturday just down from the villa and it has plenty of choice for gifts to take home and fabulous fresh vegetable, fruit, meat and fish. There is also a market on Tuesday in the old town you can walk along the beach front to the old town and I would recommend going for lunch in the Tropicana tapas bars in the old town which is amazing. We had one of the best family holidays we have been on here and will be back very soon.
