Wonderful Place On The Lake!

We had a great time with our short stay in this great home. The setting is beautiful! Across the cove from Garvan Woodland Gardens property, so it's quiet, with nobody across the cove. I would recommend this place! And we'll be back!

Great Location and Stay

Great rental experience all around. The owner communicated well. The cabin was clean and in a fantastic location right on the water. We took full advantage of the dock - swimming and renting a boat we could tie up right outside (Fun Day Boat Rental recommended - deliver it right to the dock). Fairly short drive into town. Would stay here again!

Gorgeous View

This was the second time we stayed at this property and it did not disappoint. The house is lovely and comfortable with a gorgeous view. Our host, Blake, was caring and easily accessible. We really enjoyed being able to see some of Garvin Gardens Christmas lights across the lake from us. We would definitely book this house again!

Wedding Weekend

This is a wonderful property. The house is beautiful and the property is beautiful. The owner was veery accommodating and communicated with us about any needs or concerns. I stayed in the house next door and above this property, but everyone who stayed there were veery pleased and said they would rent it in the future. Location is great if you are going to the Garden's or just waning to be on the lake. Next door to another renal, so was perfect for our needs.

Awesome

This place was awesome. Great location, incredibly view and away from everything and close at the same time. In a quite neighborhood that is very pieceful. Used the lift for my boat and it was a game changer. Was so nice to be able to just drop the boat in and out of the water. Blake was quick to answer any questions we had and everything was exactly as advertised! Will be back!!!

Weekend Getaway with Friends

We had a group of 6 women that stayed for a wonderful weekend! The property is fabulous! It is clean, spacious and you have so much extra room with the beautiful balcony and porch areas overlooking the lake. The house has everything you need for your stay. We cooked all our meals at the house and enjoyed being able to dine outside. With easy access to the water, we brought our kayaks and lounged in the water on the lily pad and other floats. It's wonderful having no neighbors across the lake and is so much more relaxing than some of the areas closer to town would be. We could not have asked for a more relaxing weekend. The owner was great with communication before and during our trip! He made sure we had what we needed when we arrived and offered to meet us if we needed anything and was available just a quick text away with the few questions we had. We will be making this an annual trip and can't wait to stay again! Lucy's Landing was a hit with us!

Above and beyond expectations; a perfect gem of a lake house!

So, I went out on a limb and booked this lake house for 6 nights for a little family getaway despite it being brand new to VRBO, and let me tell you! From the moment I stepped in, I was happy I did. The teenage girls used the word "delightful" as they looked around, and we all were just that! Delighted. It is quaint and cozy to boot, but with plenty of room to accommodate a group. The kids stayed downstairs and had their own little area and the master was located upstairs (the main floor.) The kitchen is adorable, and I appreciated the labelled drawers and cabinets. Then, there's the VIEW. Perfect lake views from an abundance of windows. We rented a boat from Hot Springs Marina and had a blast; we were able to keep it out of the elements in the extra slip at the boat house. The owner provided plenty of towels and there were floats and water toys there, too. Last but not least, communication with the owner was awesome. Questions were answered quickly and he was very accessible and responsive throughout the process. This house is a gem. We really could have gotten used to the lake life and didn't want to leave! Book this home and get ready to have a great time on the lake, :-)

Loved it!

This is a beautiful property with an awesome view. It has everything you need for a super getaway. We enjoyed our stay and found the house comfortable and clean. The property manager was very responsive and accommodating. We hope we’ll get to come back soon!

Delightful Front Porch

The view from the porch was excellent and so relaxing. I'd prefer chairs to face the lake rather than the TV; but, my grandchildren loved the TV set up...LOL! It slept all of us comfortably. My complaint would be somehow having a sofa bed upstairs rather than so many sleeping downstairs for a family. The downstairs was musty and we had to empty the dehumidifier daily. I felt like it was a bit overpriced, needs some updating. We still had an awesome time!!!

Relaxing lakeside stay

Excellent spot. Everything was in order and the entire space was cozy, relaxing, and inviting. Blake was helpful and responsive - highly recommend staying here if you are in Hot Springs. The location is un, just close enough to downtown to make it convenient but also outside the main roads so it's not crowded or noisy. Can't beat the early morning sunlight washing across the deck and lake in the mornings!

Another great lakeside stay

Blake has a great property and is a fantastic host. We booked the property last year and loved it so much, we came back again this year with the whole family. What a great location - right on the lake, within walking distance to the Botanical Gardens, and near all the great stuff in Hot Springs. We had a blast (again)!

"Lakehouse in Perfect Spot" -- also a perfect description!

This home was spot-on perfect for what we needed for a four-day family get-together. Clean and ready for us, our check-in process was easy and the communication with the owner (Blake) made the whole experience stress-free and fun. Blake was always quick with his email responses and info (which was my preferred mode of communication). Along with the indoor accommodations (including an updated kitchen), this home had two wonderful deck/sitting areas merely a few steps from water's edge. Very nice landscaping; freshly mowed; flowers in bloom! If you choose this home for your stay -- and you should! -- be sure to get up early and enjoy your coffee on the second-floor deck while taking in the stillness of this cove and the beauty of Lake Hamilton. (And did I mention must-see Garvan Gardens is across the water and only a short drive away?!)

Family LOVED it

Blake is awesome and so is his property. Kids had a blast. Scenery was amazing. And sooo much to do in Hot Springs. Quite literally, one our best vacations. Hiking, gardens, lake time, and more.

Amazing

The instructions with directions were very good. I arrived confidently after dark. The house was tidy and easy to navigate. It was very nice to wake up to that incredible view, the next morning. The house is solid. I have broken my back in the past, so I worry about loose flooring and all that. No problems. The kitchen was very well stocked. The whole experience was too much for me to put into words. One of the best parts was that Blake was VERY easy to contact. We WILL return. There was one thing I noted (NOT an issue. Just noticed) in that one blanket, among the more than half dozen in baskets, had holes in it. Blake seemed grateful for me letting him know.

What a treat to stay at Lucy's Landing!!

My family had an amazing week staying at the beautiful home in Hot Springs! The house was fantastic... clean, nicely furnished, well stocked and great location! Blake was easy to get a hold of and very accommodating... he was even nice enough to ship us our pillows that we left! Do not hesitate to stay at this fabulous home, you will really enjoy it!

Wonderful location away from the crowds

Lucy’s Landing is a peaceful retreat away from the crowds without being too far out of the way. Our family of three stayed for a week. We drove downtown for shopping, we went to The Galaxy Connection (which we loved), hiking at Lake Catherine State Park as well as horseback riding. Spent the day directly across from the lake house at Garven Gardens, which is stunning! We also went to The Mid America Science Museum. We covered a lot of ground on our visit, but never spent more than 20 minutes in the car to get to anything! It was the perfect location for us. We swam every day. And ate every dinner out on the upper deck. Our son loved jumping off the dock! We had one incident with the down stairs faucet, that Blake quickly took care. The only downside for us was the split level, with the children’s room on the bottom floor next to the sliding glass door. We weren’t comfortable letting our 5 year old sleep down there alone, so he ended up in the super comfortable king size bed in the master, and we took the downstairs bed. Blake is a very responsive property owner and super easy to work with. We would stay again! Thanks, Blake!

Perfect spot!

Perfect location! Beautiful views! We had a wonderful stay. My kids loved swimming in the lake, my husband loved fishing, and I enjoyed relaxing. Great location!

Amazing weekend at the lake!

We Will Be Back!

This is an excellent place for families! The 2 big porches, easy lake access, and a quiet neighborhood are perfect. Blake always answered our texts within minutes and made sure we had anything we needed. We are planning to be back next year!
