Please Read Before Booking

Booked this condo after looking at pictures and reading reviews which are always a little mixed. Let me start with the positives. First, location was PERFECT! Our condo was located on the 8th floor corner and had the best view of the beach, nearly panoramic. It was quite stunning and very convenient to watch family whether on the beach or in either of the buildings two pools. Second, the building grounds were all kept up and the carts to haul large stuff back and forth was very convenient.Now let’s discuss the negatives… I do not mind an older unit but I do want it to be clean. This was NOT!! The failure to dust was very evident by the AC filter that was nasty, so bad it had the door in front absolutely covered in dust. Lights weren’t dusted and the floors may have been swept and mopped but definitely not cleaned! BEWARE OF ROACHES!!! And after notifying staff and several attempts at that, they finally told me they’d reimburse me for bug spray that didn’t do anything to kill them!!This building could be a very nice place but they haven’t done general maintenance for a pretty long time. Tons of missing floor mold trim, some trim not even attached with rusty nails hanging out of it.Mold was all over shower curtains and probably just as much on the bath floor if you really wanted to check it out.Though beds were comfortable, the bed linen was stained and there was a hole in one of the twin mattresses.I could go on but we will not recommend this place!!

Would stay here again

Nice location and large deck with view. I was cautious to stay here after reading recent reviews. Was there a piece of trim missing? Yes. Does that affect our vacation and stay? No. Some total Karen’s out there must have perfect homes with up to date cabinets, trim and floors etc. This place was perfect for the family and reasonably priced. Secure premises, close to everything but not too crowded. Will stay here again next year.

First Fall Beach Trip After Retirement!

Just retired the previous month and wanted a beach trip without all the crowds. We were not disappointed. Weather was beautiful, beach was warm and there were no crowds! Perfect.

Exceptional location

The place itself need some polish, just little things tho no major complaints. As far as location and view, phenomenal. The corner balcony provided perfect views up and down the beach and sunrise. Couldn't actually see the sunset but still spectacular.

Amazing views.

The views are great here, you can see both pools and have great ocean views. The room could have been a little cleaner and the keypad needs to be replaced. Not fun when you can’t get in and you have grouchy kids ready to be in the AC. Also, some things need upgrading. Other than that, it’s a nice condo and is well stocked!

Beautiful view, dated property

The property is very dated but the location is excellent. My sister, my mom, me and my daughter stayed for a family get together. The view from the condo is spectacular!!! We were comfortable and had the facilities we needed. The balconies inside and out need to be pressure-washed desperately. Also, the floor was not very clean in the condo. The cleaners came and mopped the floors at our request but it didn't help. When you walk in socks or with your shoes off, they WILL be black. But the appliances worked, they had enough cutlery and cooking utensils. I will warn you that one of the numbers stick on the keypad to go inside the property. Once it sticks you cannot enter any other numbers until you unstick it. Another problem is that my 78 year old mother, 178 pounds, sat in one of the lawn chairs on the balcony and the seat collapsed pinning her between the seat back and the balcony. Luckily she had her phone on her and could call us to come back to the condo because we were on the beach. She was fine, but it was not ideal. I called the property manager and she came and picked up the offending chair. We were very lucky because it could have been much worse and my mom is not in the best of health mobility wise. But that's what I mean by it's dated. There are some other outdoor chairs that were nice. Also, you have to take your trash out to a dumpster in the parking lot yourself. View is 20/10, Condo is 6/10.

Amazing View

Let me start by saying, the view is spectacular! The wrap around balcony is definitely the best feature for relaxing, enjoying the gulf and people-watching. Back inside the condo though, you take some steps backward. As many have said, the condo absolutely needs a renovation and some TLC. Paint is peeling off the cabinets in both bathrooms, all doors are extremely beat up and dirty, the bunk bed is unstable - don’t plan on sleeping on the top, the floors were so scuffed up and had stains everywhere it was hard to tell if it was clean or not. The condo wasn’t super dirty when we arrived, but wasn’t super clean either. I had to wipe down both bathrooms to remove leftover hair and dirt. The blinds and window ledges were disgusting. The keypad for the front door was annoying. Worked on the first try maybe 10% of the time. And often wouldn’t recognize any numbers at all, so you had to wait until it was ready. Lol. On the good side, the AC was working well, so perhaps it was fixed after the previous reviews. There were extra box fans just in case. The kitchen was very well stocked. Tons of pots and pans, serving utensils and cups, bowls and plates. And I did appreciate the starter supplies - couple rolls of TP in each bathroom, 2 dishwasher tablets, dishwashing liquid, paper towels and kitchen towels. Not all places do that! So would I stay here again as-is? Eh - maybe. If some renovations were done, definitely. The view is too good!

Great location in Orange Beach

The property was just as advertised. The view with the wrap around patio was gorgeous. All amenities were as described. The property was well kept and the elevators were always working. The master bedroom bed was a little unstable. It seemed as if the frame was bent or not fitting properly. There was a glass top coffee table in the living room that is nice, but having kids on vacation made me nervous that they were going to run into it and break it.

Keep looking! It is filthy

I was excited to stay here for our yearly family vacation. Once we checked in, I was very disappointed. When I first opened the door, I could smell mold and from a quick look around the condo, it was filthy. The floors left the bottom of my kid's socks almost black with dirt. The kitchen cabinets had a greasy film on them, inside the lower set of cabinets there was water damage and mold. There was dirt caked in the corners around walls and cabinets. The bathrooms had grime rings in the tubs. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable. The master bed is broken, so the bed sagged down in the middle. The towels were scratchy and didn't look clean. The whole condo needs to be deep cleaned and remodeled. I have been traveling using VRBO for over 10 years and can overlook many things. Unfortunately, with this property I could not. Please keep looking for a condo, if cleanliness and comfort matter to you. I will say the wrap around deck has a great view and the ease of checking in is seamless.

The views are amazing!

I couldn’t have asked for a better location! The balcony is positioned so that you have the most phenomenal views of the ocean but also both pools. I was able to spy my teens no matter their location. The unit itself was comfortable and spacious. Hope to visit again soon 🏝️

Horrible stay!

Let me start by saying how much smaller this condo is in person as opposed to the photos on the site. The condo only gives you two parking passes for a three bedroom. No if, ands, buts about it. After we already paid for the condo, that was considerably smaller than we were expecting, we also had to pay $50 per car. Just to park in the lot of the condo that we already paid way too much for. Our third driver had to move her car to the front lot by the realty company and was told she would need to pay the realty company to park there. After she moved her car, we then found out it was only $25 to park IN THE SAME LOT. The washing machine sounds like it’s fixing to walk off while it’s running, the hall bathroom toilet runs constantly, and be sure when you flush it goes down because it doesn’t always work. The shower head in the same bathroom sprays everything in the bathroom except the person in the shower. The balcony railing doesn’t feel safe and sturdy so be cautious with small children. The king bed feels like it could possibly collapse at any time. The air does NOT work. It never got over 75 and when I messaged asking for maintenance they wanted me to work on it then let them know if it started working. After multiple messages back and forth they sent someone the next day. He advised that he was here this same time last year and instructed the owners the unit needed replaced because it was barely working then. The bedroom with the bunk beds is very hot and never cools off

The view from this condo was amazing. My family and I had an amazing time at the beach and used the beach chairs that were provided in the condo. The location is in great proximity to food and groceries. The bad is the condo could stand a complete renovation.

Proximity to beach access and the view was wonderful. The unit was older, but well maintained and clean. The kitchen was well-equipped (if you wanted to cook, but who wants to on vacation!?!
