Bayou Slam Hopedale Camp

Fishing and hunting camp located in Hopedale, LA for rent. Minutes away from the best hunting and fishing in South Louisiana, one block past Dudenhefer's Canal.

$350/night; Cleaning fee: $150; Pet fee: $15/night pet fee for 1st pet; $10/night pet fee for 2nd pet. VRBO will automatically charge the $15/per night for 1st pet fee; I will add $10/night 2nd pet fee after booking request.

We also have a 30 and 50 amp camper panel, $35/night (water, no sewer), which is ONLY AVAILABLE for tenants of Bayou Slam during their stay for extra guest overflow. Please message me should you want to use this service. Fee will be added after booking request.

Bayou Slam Camp amenities:

Back down launch, 35'X35' covered deck area on Bayou LaLoutre to fish, crab and/or dock your boats. Fish cleaning area. Electricity at dock to charge trolling motors or clean fish with electric knife. Security camera overlooking covered deck area.

Plenty of parking area for family and friends, 1300 sq ft, 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, sleeps 9 or 10. 9 with all singles or 10 with a couple in the Captain's Quarters and singles in the bedrooms. King bed in the Captains Quarter's, bedroom 2 includes single over full bunk and XL single over XL single bunk, bedroom 3 includes 2 single over single bunks. Front porch area with a beautiful view of Bayou LaLoutre. Screened in back porch with high top tables and chairs with an outdoor griddle. Security cameras under and around camp with monitor in living area so you may keep an eye on your boat, trailer, etc.

Amenities include Cox Cable, free WIFI, Vizio Smart Cast Streaming TV, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, refrigerator, dishwasher, and washer/dryer.

Everything you need to make coffee before you meet at the dock. All condiments and basic spices in the kitchen/pantry readily available.

Fully stocked kitchen including dishes, silverware, BBQ utensils, pots/pans, stove top boiling pot in the pantry, aluminum trays, paper plates/bowls, plastic utensils, solo cups, coffee cups to go, and a basic first aid kit.

Kitchen soap, dishwasher tabs, and washing machine liquid also included. For your convenience there is body wash and shampoo in both showers. All linens, towels and toiletries supplied.

Park Style charcoal BBQ pit with lid, and patio set under camp. Crawfish pot, burner, propane tanks, fan to help with flying insects, two half crab traps, crab nets, and seafood table with garbage can located in the container.

Boat Slips are NOT INCLUDED with the camp rental.
