Dated, dirty, very disappointing for this area and price paid to stay. I own VRBO’s also and I would never have repeat renters with a property in this shape.

OK, not over the top

Unit had some cleanliness issues with shower curtains and bedding. Lighting is very dim throughout the unit and there were just four towels, hand towels and wash cloths for our 4 day stay. Would advise guests to bring additional ones unless they plan on doing laundry. Not being notified of check-in procedure until the morning of your arrival is a bit of a concern if you do not have access to email en route.

Disgusting smoke smell

Pictures are VERY misleading. Not near as cute, large, or nicely decorated as pictures in the listing. Carpet is stained and needs to be stretched. Entire house reeks of cigarette smoke. Every time the air comes on, it circulates the cigarette smoke smell more. Entire house feels grimy & gross because of it. Dryer vent comes over top of the washer/dryer unit, seems like a fire hazard. Parking situation with kids is a pain. No on-site parking, have to take a shuttle back and forth to park. Entire condo building needs work. Will not stay again.

We unfortunately do not have control over the resort's rules with guest parking/shuttle situation but understand the inconvenience. The carpet has been cleaned and the unit underwent a deep clean. Our home has a strict no-smoking policy that we take very seriously; regretfully private owners in the surrounding buildings are not held to our house rules but our team does work with the condo association to provide the best possible stay for each of our guests. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again!

The Vacasa rental are heart the worst manager or rental company

The apartment was not clean the furniture was unorganized all the chairs were all stacked together in the kitchen, beds were dirty , vacuum was left on the middle of the bathroom, dishes were dirty, dirty towels on the dryer, furniture on top of the beds furniture on top of the couch, Vacasa did absolutely nothing to fix the problem the only reply was they were working with the local management and didn't receive a call nobody show to provide clean sheets, I got to the property around 8:00 p.m. on my check-in date I couldn't find another place to stay so I had no option but to stay in the apartment waiting on a response from the local management supposedly, two nights later, still didn't receive no help worse experience ever with rental place,Vacasa is the worst.

Adequate but expensive

The condo is adequate but seemed quite expensive for what it was. Again, it was ok, but it was older and more outdated that it looked in the pictures. We rented it because it was near the ski slopes, and it had a fireplace. Unfortunately, the building didn't allow the fireplaces to be used, and although you can see the ski slopes from the window, you cannot walk to them. Lastly, the staff was not welcoming or helpful.

Dissappointment

Unit not ready at 4pm wheen we arrivied. Had to wait until 6pm.Swimming pool air very hot like a sauna. Thermostat would not work. Had to open windows one night and we aeree very cold. Spreads seemed to be from previous visitrs. Carpet soiled. throw rug dirty half of it was stained dark. Light bulbs burned out.Very dark inviroment. dirty inside kitchen cabinet under sink. hair on shower wall.

Smokers unit

We have stayed at Sugar Top in the past and we always have a good experience with the staff and the facility. This particular unit however, reeked of smoke. The carpets had several large stains throughout the unit. The toilet in the master bath did not flush well. This unit is also on the first floor at the rear of the building. This puts you directly on top of the parking lot where you hear all of the traffic. A car alarm woke is up one morning. The location of Sugar Top and the amenities such as the gym, pool and hot tub are very nice. Overall a good place to stay. I’m not a fan of this unit. I didn’t realize that they had smoking units. Next time I will check.

Parking hassle not worth it

The property is a huge eye sore of a building that sits on the top of a ridge. They obviously wanted to maximize square footage so there’s no grounds or even convenient parking. You have to wait for a shuttle to take you down to your car, then wait in line to be allowed to come up to the building to load your car. The hassle was such that we won’t be staying there again. The apartment itself was well stocked and had comfy beds. It was also nice to have a workout room, hot tubs and indoor pool available. That was a hit with the kids. Don’t expect much from the front desk person either. A woman asked him where to go for ski rentals and he said “I don’t know, I’ve never been.” Awesome.

Loved Sugar Top. Condo was average

We love the weather at the top of Sugar Top. That’s why we came here. The staff is very friendly and we love the pool and hot tub. The view is incredible. The carpet in the condo needs help. The toilets had to be plunged a few times. I was unable to reach anyone at Vacasa for assistance.

Good for Skiing

SugarTop condo was clean and well outfitted. Building is showing its age. Would recommend if you're there to ski as access is just so convenient.
