The apt was beautiful with amazing views of both the ocean and the intercoastal.The property was located near great restaurants and high end shopping, the hotel staff was extremely nice and accommodating the pool and beach was great and relaxing. Overall i highly recommend this property and this 2 bedroom suite to anyone looking for a luxurious getaway. JY

We left a day early due to the AC in our room not working. On top of that, there were no sheets or blankets for the extra bed, the safe was broken, and we weren’t informed about the balcony construction on the entire building. These issues made our stay very difficult, and we ended up leaving an entire day early because the room was unlivable. Very old unit. Highly recommend you just book through hotel since you pay for cleaning fee (while not getting housekeeping provided while you stay) and you still pay the hotels resort fee. Terrible experience.

Amazing Apartment, fantastic views at the 5 star Ritz!

We absolutely loved staying at this sweet two bedroom apartment at the Ritz. The furnishing is brand new, beds very comfortable and you have your own private entrance. It is a fraction of the cost of booking through the Ritz with all the amenities - beach, delicious restaurant, gym, pool. The apartment overlooks the bar harbor canal and up the coast across the beautify undeveloped Haulover Park and Beach. The canal provides endless entertainment watching all the mega-yachts, fishing boats and cigarette speed boats going in and out of the harbor. The hotel amenities are amazing with a beautiful pool, huge beach with a nice local surf spot, off the main road. The hotel staff is lovely - remembering what we ordered the night before and making entry recommendations, easy quick valet, and no waiting for ocean view tables (or the hassle of making reservations). This is the perfect spot for a 5 star vacation!

Miami Boat Show 2023

The photos online don't do this property justice. As boaters the location is amazing, we could sit for hours just watching the boats go in and out of the inlet. The service in the resort is great. The beach food and beverage service could be better, but that isn't a fault of this condo. The property was clean and well stocked. We hope to book again for next years show and we may come back sooner.

Bal Harbour is great/This property is not

This trip was our third to the Ritz Carlton in Bal Harbour, and we stayed in different units using VRBO each time. By far, this unit was the least appealing, as it was in need of a deep cleaning when we arrived as well as general maintenance. The pillows were old, there were stains on bed linens, the towels were mismatched and like sandpaper (one hand towel even had the signature W monogram from the W Hotels), the travel-size toiletries were half-used, and there were dust bunnies everywhere. We also had to buy tissues and toilet paper. It just didn't seem well cleaned or well stocked after the last renter. The unit itself has a lot of deferred maintenance. One of the toilets kept running. The knob controlling the hand-held sprayer on one of the showers was hanging off the wall when we arrived. Both issues were addressed once we brought it to the maintenance person's attention. The shower door in one bathroom was misaligned, which led to water making the bathroom floor slippery. There were so many lightbulbs burned out (one of the bedroom closets, several in the main living area/entryway and bathrooms) that it was poorly lit throughout. The air conditioning units were noisy, with rattling and thumping a constant presence. Part of the issue might be that the owner is in Europe and probably doesn't see the unit for himself on a regular basis. That said, he was responsive to several of the concerns when we expressed them upon arrival. Unfortunately, that meant visits/interruptions from maintenance personnel over the first couple of days. Without being asked, the owner offered daily cleaning as a way to compensate. He also offered to extend our stay for two days free of charge. Given the difficulty with air travel cancellations (on the heels of a winter storm and the ensuing Southwest debacle) as well as firm college return dates for our daughters, extending our stay was not possible. Overall, the Ritz Carlton is fine -- not as well appointed as many other Ritz hotels (small gym, one mediocre dining facility) and in need of renovation -- but the unit itself needs a lot of attention. Hopefully, our stay and complaints will lead to a more pleasant stay for future visitors.

Great Unit, Easy management company to deal with

We have stayed many times at the Ritz, but our first as a VRBO. Units are exactly the same as hotel units, and very well appointed. The building is looking a little tired and is constantly being addressed but the service and location are first class. We would definitely stay in this unit again. Very easy to work with.

NICE VIEWS

Nice size apartment. Great views and location. Apartment was not clean. Had issues with dryer which we could only fit 4 towels at a time and would not dry. There was a leak on the floor of master, not sure where it was coming from. Overall we enjoyed but the apartment is dated. I recommend but keep in mind my point above...

Great for a family

Good value. Hotel property is not “resorty.” More condo/apartment like, with pool/staff. Beach is wonderful, tho. Great space for family with beautiful view. Unit was clean. Overall a great rental.

Unit has everything you need in a great location in Bal Harbour. Walking distance to the Bal Harbour shops, beach front, heated pool, with all the amenities you’d expect of a Ritz Carlton. Hope to be back soon.

Excellent condominium in Ritz Bal Harbour

Far nicer than the pics suggest, 2 master bedrooms each with ensuite full bathrooms + a guest half bath; full kitchen, bar and living room, 3 separate balconies with great and different views. Benefits of Ritz services and restaurants at a reasonable daily price. Not brand new but very luxurious and so comfortable, easy walk to Bal Harbour shops and restaurants. Ollo was highly respond and accommodating, I suggest you book cleaning well in advance. Very large space, super for family of 4 (kids can share a King bed).

We had a great stay over Thanksgiving with our family - spacious and beautiful view of the water. The kitchenette and washer/dryer came in handy too!
