Este quinto piso condominio frente al mar de dos dormitorios en el Kihei Surfside Resort se encuentra en el extremo de mauka (montaña) del edificio. Tiene excelentes vistas al mar desde la cocina, sala, comedor, dormitorio principal y lanai. Los baños de esta unidad han sido recientemente remodelados y el propietario planea remodelar el resto de la unidad en el verano de 2020. En relación con otras propiedades en el distrito sur de Kihei / Wailea, esta unidad es una alternativa económica de gran valor para que una familia o dos parejas disfruten de la espectacular ubicación frente al mar de Kihei Surfside. La tarifa base es para cuatro personas, se pueden alojar 5 y 6 personas por una tarifa adicional.

La unidad tiene internet inalámbrico de alta velocidad y llamadas de larga distancia gratuitas a los Estados Unidos y Canadá. También está equipado con una cerradura de puerta Oracode de última generación, por la cual cada huésped recibe un código único que controla la puerta solo durante su estadía.

El salón tiene un sofá cama de mimbre tropical con un par de sillones a juego. Hay un televisor LCD HD con decodificador de cable HD, reproductor de DVD y ventilador de techo de varias velocidades.

El comedor tiene una mesa redonda ovalada de vidrio de ratán con capacidad para 6.

El gran lanai privado tiene una mesa bistró con dos sillones a juego y dos tumbonas, ¡un lugar espectacular para disfrutar de su café matutino o una cena romántica frente al mar! Avistamiento de ballenas en temporada.

El dormitorio principal tiene una cama king size de alta calidad con ropa de cama fresca. También hay un ventilador de techo de varias velocidades, TV LCD inteligente de pantalla plana de 40 pulgadas con caja de cable DVR. El armario tiene una caja fuerte de seguridad digital montada en su interior. El dormitorio principal se encuentra en el lado del océano del edificio desde donde el océano es audible y la vista completa del océano es excepcional.

Los baños de esta unidad han sido bellamente remodelados. Ambos tienen duchas de tamaño completo, con manija de asistencia, cabezal de lluvia y varita de mano / masajeador, junto con tocador de arce con encimera de granito y baño alargado.

El segundo dormitorio tiene dos camas individuales y ropa de cama fresca. Estos se pueden juntar para hacer una cama king. También hay un ventilador de techo de múltiples velocidades, persianas de plantación, armario y un televisor LCD de pantalla plana de 27 "montado en la pared con reproductor de DVD incorporado y decodificador de cable DVR. Esta habitación también tiene un baño completo, que incluye una ducha de vidrio cerrada personalizada con un sistema de ducha con cabezal de masaje, con una varita de mano / masajeador. Views of the mountain and the ocean were great. The connected and shared park grounds were immaculate. We saw whales, sea turtles, and parrots.

Fantastic condo! Nothing beats the location! I especially liked the mountain view in the morning, the larger space, and the additional bedroom (when compared to other units in the building). Conversely, the road noise on balcony and views of the ocean are slightly worse than other units. It’s a compromise that we knew going in and are happy with the choice. AC was great, beds were very firm and nice.

Great Option For A Family!

Amazing views, tropical paradise

The corner unit property’s views are amazing! The breeze and both sunrise and sunset are amazing. Dealing with Larry via VRBO has been easy and smooth. On site office has beach chairs for our whole family. The until itself had umbrellas and a small cooler, perfect for beach days. Super thankful for this lovely spot.

Great Kihei Resort

This a a great condo property. The unit we rented was a bit dated however it was clean and roomy Check in was a breeze and the property manager was very good to deal with. The pool and grounds are awesome. You cannot beat the view. The property staff were all friendly and helpful

Always great to stay at Kihei Surfside

This worked well for our visit with two teenage boys. Condo was well appointed and it was nice to sit on the patio. The office staff was helpful, giving us advice and lending us clubs for the putting green. We enjoyed using the outdoor amenities (pool, grill) and it was great to snorkel in the vicinity where we saw several turtles. Everyone was friendly and we would stay here again.

Maui Condo

This was an older condo, but was clean and a great place to stay. On the beach with decent views, and a beach in front to watch the sunset. A great place to base yourselves for a week while you explore Maui. One note I would add, is that there was no air conditioning a the time of our stay, but the open windows and fans were more than enough to keep us cool at night.

Perfect Spot

We used to live just up the road. We love this area of Maui. Perfect place with a beautiful beach, snorkeling, kayaking and restaurants. The condo was perfect for us. Love the corner unit with the beautiful views. We watched multiple whales from the lanai. You’ll love this place!

A hidden gem

I was nervous at first when I noticed that there was no A/C. However, it is not needed! Open the windows and enjoy the beautiful views and cool air. Just close the blinds during the day to keep it cool upon your return. Though it may be a little outdated, the beds were extremely comfortable and bathrooms were beautiful. We look forward to visiting this unit again in the near future!

A Hidden Gem!

Low key. Oceanfront and beautiful! Easy access to beach for swimming, snorkeling and kanoodeling! The unit was great! If I had to find a fault it wouldn't be withe the property or the host but the noisy Roosters. They start every morning around 4am and the cacophony just increases...earplugs helped

Beautiful view from large lanai

What a beautiful view from the large lanai. Even though there is no air conditioning in this condo, the trade winds and fans kept the condo nice and cool. ( and I almost always need air conditioning at night!!) This condo is bright and airy with many windows to enjoy the views. The pool is warm and wonderful. My favorite swim beach is just steps away by the Mana Kai next door. And one of my favorite restaurants (again: the views) Five Palms is next door. Communication with owner is excellent.

Fabulous location and comfortable stay

This unit is a comfortable stay at the best beach in South Maui in our opinion. My family owned a condo for years at the adjacent property so we are very familiar with the location and Keawakapu beach which we love. The unit was perfect size for our family of 3. Yes, it is outdated but how much time are you spending inside and you have absolutely everything you would need especially in the kitchen. Laundry in-unit was especially helpful! You can access Wailea easily as well as Kihei proper for groceries, etc. The large lawn/state park out front was great for bocce (which the property has to loan out) as well as the incredible sunsets. We hit the pool after hours at the beach and used the BBQs to grill up dinner. My mother-in-law stayed in one of the 1 bedroom units as well and it was very nice. Definitely recommend for location, location, location!

Beautiful grounds but lots of Karens

When we first walked in, we were a bit disappointed. I didn't know I had to look for these as amenities: A/C and a hot tub. It was really hot in the place (in January). They are working on putting A/C in. I also had the impression that we were oceanfront, due to the pics, but we are actually tucked in the corner, we couldn't see the sunset from our balcony. But I did appreciate the view of the mountains. The pool was nice, never very crowded. It was a bit farther in town than I thought. It is right next to a park and two beaches are a very short walking distance. They give you wristbands to wear in the pool. However, I never once noticed a person wearing them so neither did I. A woman in 114 came over and demanded to know where they were and insisted that I wear one. She also pointed at the pool rules and invited me to familiarize myself with them (my son had jumped in the pool). I'm pretty sure she doesn't work here. The next day, as we were BBQ'ing and sitting at the pool, at *6:55pm* a guy told us to remember that the pool closes at 9pm. What? We are white, most of the residents are white and older, I hate to think about how people of color must be treated.

Beautiful View But Needs Updating

I would like to start by saying the view from this unit is amazing. You see the ocean when facing one direction and the mountain when facing the other direction. The property manager was extremely helpful solving the issues we had when we arrived. Also, it was great to have a washer/dryer in the unit. That being said this unit needs updating and some basic repairs. In both bathrooms the shelves in the showers where you would keep your toiletries were either missing or broken. In the Master Bedroom the dresser drawers wouldn't close all the way. In the living room the furniture was uncomfortable. The foam in the cushions of the couch and chairs was worn down. The kitchen was well equipped but the appliances are older and definitely show it. The whole unit could use a coat of paint to freshen it up. The unit does need to be cleaned better. The floors were not cleaned very well and we could tell because our socks were very dirty on the bottom after walking around just a little. I had to scrub clean the outdoor table before we could use it. We never complain but we were disappointed with the unit for the price we paid so while we would stay at the resort again we would not reserve this unit again.

Beautiful!

So thankful for our family stay over Thanksgiving week! Spectacular view to wake up to every morning (worth the annoyance of rooster crows) and amazing sunsets each night! A short drive to Kihei restaurants and rentals made for a fun week of snorkeling, surfing and day trips. Friendly, considerate guests, and great beach spots with beautiful pool and grill setting. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and quiet ceiling fans provided a very pleasant experience.

Kihei Sunset Delight

What an amazing resort!! Amazing location!! You will not be disappointed. My wife, daughter and a friend plus myself stayed for 9 days in 514. Let me tell you it straight from the start. I wasn't sure about this place as some of the reviews were not too good. Do not let any of the reviews throw you a curve. There are 1. bugs everywhere in Maui you are visiting an island. 2. Dirty floors are because of the wind. Keep the windows and doors shut and you will reduce the dirt, but you will also reduce the experience. The photos were amazing, so I reached out to the management team, and they responded quickly and reassured me that the condo was being upgraded with new items. It is an ongoing process as the whole resort is being upgraded. The work at the resort will not interrupt your vacation and they are very good at making sure that you know what is going on. The open concept in the condo makes for socializing with everyone easy. The views are amazing from condo balcony, and you also get views of the mountains which on one night held an illuminated evening with a lightning storm that we watched for hours. Below the balcony is an open green space which is manicured and the place to be everyday soaking up the rays of the sun or doing yoga or a personal workout. The pool is a great spot to split up ocean snorkeling, swimming and just relax. From the green space turn right and follow a trail to a small beach that in the afternoon you can see Sea Turtles beach themselves for an afternoon nap. Turn left on the green space and followed in front of the next resort and walk onto the beach that goes on for at least a 30 min walk. I could go on forever. Outdated with Roaches

First the listing should include that there’s no air conditioning. It was ridiculously hot and uncomfortable trying to lounge and sleep with no ac. The bedroom fan could only be used on the lowest setting because when it was turned up higher it make noises and sounded like it was about to fall from the ceiling. It was very disappointing. The property was not clean, I took a shower and walked to the kitchen and my feet were filthy. The kitchen definitely needs some updating with the dirty tile and rusty refrigerator. The kitchen was wreaking from what I later found to be water sitting in the dishwasher. The most disappointing and disgusting part of it all was the roaches found it the kitchen. We came in late one night and saw bugs scatter when the lights came on but couldn’t get close enough to see what they were before they disappeared. Then last night when I went to open the dishwasher a bunch came out. For the price I paid, a roach infested place is unacceptable. There was also construction going on at the property which caused noise and we weren’t able to reach anyone in the office. The office was closed due to the construction. The night before we left we finally just happened to run into the office manager and got wristbands for the pool for my kids. The place looks nice but its in bad shape. There’s little things that make a huge difference in the quality of someone’s stay, a leaky refrigerator, broken ice trays and broken beach umbrellas are small issues that should be fixed/ replaced when charging people this much money to stay in what essentially felt like a dump. Seriously, ice trays are a dollar.

Lots of space, postcard views

This was a great place to stay while we were in Maui to attend a wedding. The unit was very spacious, especially the Lanai, which was perfect for enjoying the sunrise and sunset everyday. The unit did not have air-conditioning (none of the units in this location do) but there were plenty of fans to keep the air moving and a stiff breeze every afternoon coming off the ocean so temperature was not an issue. The only downside for us was the construction going on at the complex. The pool was not open until Tuesday and the dirt stirred up by the construction made it's way into the unit. However, we understand the need to make improvements to a property but would have been nice to know ahead of time. Overall this is a great place and we would recommend!

Older unit, but lovely location

Lots of big windows make this condo open and airy. Loved the extra windows in the master bedroom and kitchen. The lanai is large and has a great view over the grassy area to the sea. The unit itself is quite dated. Only the bathrooms have been updated. It is functional but older. The onsite management was extremely helpful and friendly. Note that there are PLENTY of roosters -- wear ear plugs and shut the windows for best sleep. The location is great- just between Kihei and Wailea- with easy access to a long walkable/swimmable/snorkeling beach used mostly by locals. Also very close to all the local shops and restaurants in Kihei and the beaches in Wailea. Easy parking. Small washer/dryer in the condo was convenient. Lots of good beach towels and 2 beach chairs provided. We enjoyed our stay, but be prepared for an older condo.
