¡Bienvenido a nuestra casa en Dragonfly Pond!

Nuestra casa está aproximadamente a tres millas del lago Dale Hollow, con cuatro puertos deportivos a 10 millas. Tenemos mucho espacio para su barco, o puede alquilar uno en uno de los puertos deportivos cercanos.

La casa se encuentra en 15 acres por un camino sin salida, y tenemos un pequeño estanque en la parte trasera.

Compramos la casa en 2019, y todavía estamos terminando las actualizaciones. ¡Estamos súper emocionados por la temporada 2020! La casa cuenta con electrodomésticos nuevos, camas y pisos nuevos en todas partes. Más fotos próximamente !!

Great place to stay!

Plenty of space inside and out for our family of four plus a furry friend. We had a wonderful time exploring the woods and sitting by the fire pit, roasting marshmallows while it snowed just a little. Good size kitchen for cooking Thanksgiving dinner and lots of couches to lounge in afterwards. Large dining table for eating as a family or playing games. Would definitely visit again!

We loved the house! The property is beautiful and very private. Super clean and completely stocked with everything you’ll need. Exactly as pictured in the listing! We loved the location and proximity to Sulphur Creek Resort.

5 Day Boating Trip

A group of 11 of us booked this house for a 5 day boating trip at Dale Hollow Lake. The location is perfect as it is near Hendricks Creek, Sulphur Creek and Cedar Hill Marinas. Parking is wonderful with plenty of space for boats and trailers. The cabin was clean and everything that was advertised. Very spacious and well equipped. Plenty of space and sitting areas for a large group. The owner was great and went above and beyond with a couple of requests that I had. Also, when we locked ourselves out (our own fault), she was quick to respond and provide assistance. I couldn’t ask for more and have 0 complaints. Five Stars, 10/10, highly recommend!

Great location close to Dale Hallow Lake

No complaints, the bird feeders and hummingbird feeders kept all kinds of birds to watch right out your window. We had a great time and recommend this home to others. Plenty of parking for your boats and trailers.

Peaceful and Relaxing Environment

Our family enjoyed our stay at this home. We loved the fact that it was away from the hustle of town and in the countryside. We loved watching the birds fly in to the feeders and see the different varieties of species. The house was well equipped with everything we needed to cook for our family. We enjoyed the Quarry Restaurant and overlooking the lakes and landscape. We would recommend this home to others.

Annual Family DHL Vacation!

We absolutely loved this home! Perfect set up for our two families. This was our first time renting a home at DHL and it was perfect! We had a lot of rain so we are so glad we decided against camping this year! We will definitely be back to this home in the future!

Great for families

The house is great for large families. We had 3 families with teens and we had plenty of room. The kitchen was great for cooking our meals and we enjoyed the fire pit and back porch for hanging out. There was even things left from previous renters like spices, condiments, baggies, trash bags, etc. That was great and appreciated. The drive to sulfur creek was easy and not too far. Plenty of parking for our boats and trailers too. The beds were comfy and the house had everything we needed to make it feel like a home away from home. Thank you to the host for sharing your place with us!

Golf outing

This was an annual golf outing with a group of guys. We’ve been doing this for over 30 years. This house was perfect for our needs. The home is very clean, spacious, and we’ll maintained. I would recommend this property to anyone.

Birthday Weekend

We had a great time! Myself and my husband, son and DIL and their 2 boys, daughter and SIL and their 2 boys and 1 girl and my SIL’s mom. We bird watched, played games with the kids and worked puzzles! Also spent one day at the lake. Great cousin time and a great 60th birthday for me. Thanks!

Meet in the Middle

Where do 3 cousins and their young families meet up when they live across 3 states and 2 timezones? This would be the place and this was our 2nd year! Once again, the property was exactly what we needed. It is spacious and private, with lots of outdoor space for children and dogs. Upon arrival, the property is exceptionally clean and well stocked with all the amenities needed to host the biggest feast of the year! Great care is taken and niceties are provided such as ample linens and lots of games and puzzles. Amy is very wonderful to work with: flexible, quick to respond and helpful! We intend to continue to book in the future! =)

The house was perfect! It had the main home and then a separate but still attached suite that was set up perfectly!! We loved everything about the house and it was super quiet!!! Would absolutely stay there again!!

The Perfect Lakehouse

Everything about this house was perfect! The kitchen was stocked with all the necessities and we had plenty of bath towels. All of the beds were comfortable and the check in process was so easy. Our absolute favorite part of our stay was sitting outside watching all the birds in the multiple feeders. The driveway was plenty big enough for our trucks and boat trailers. Everything was clean and we had plenty of games to play after a full day on the lake.

Army Reunion - Welcome Home

We loved this property! The floorplan was perfect for our group of 7. It was clean and incredibly well furnished. The property manager was a breeze to work with and communicated with us in a prompt and accurate manner. If ever in the area again, we will certainly rent this place! This one was a REAL WIN!!

Scott and Amy Rice have been vacationing on the lakes of Kentucky for over 14 years. They started out pulling a camper and renting boats at campgrounds each summer. When their children literally outgrew their camper bunks, they sold the camper and started renting vacation houses near the lake. In 2019 they were able to make a long-time dream of owning a home near Dale Hollow Lake come true.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Amy grew up visiting her grandparents at the lake every summer. Each day was spent fishing, swimming, gardening, exploring the lakeshore, and scratching mosquito bites! She introduced Scott to her love of the lake while they were dating, and they have shared that love with their children. Standing beside the pond the very first time, watching the dragonflies dart and the butterflies dance, it was like being back on the water with her grandpa again. It felt like home!
