Un antiguo edificio de productos lácteos, nuestra cabaña ha sido cuidadosamente renovada para proporcionar un alojamiento espacioso descrito por los huéspedes recientes como 'una joya escondida'. Con su propio jardín privado, gloriosos paseos desde la puerta de entrada y muebles de alta calidad, realmente es un "escondite sublime" (como lo describió otro huésped reciente). Vino espumoso y otras pequeñas delicias saludan su llegada. Adecuado para parejas y perros de bienvenida.

Lovely cottage in great location

We really appreciated the large bathroom and also the large enclosed garden which is great for a dog The cottage is of a high standard, well equipped and comfortable. It's in a stunning location. A great base for walking.

Easter break

Had a lovely stay, cottage is very nice and has everything you could possibly need. Hosts were excellent in communication and passing on hints and tips, the information file was very useful

Lovely

We had a lovely stay. As we visited for an event nearby there wasn’t much time to explore the area but the cottage was a great base. The welcome pack was a nice surprise. The dogs loved the large garden and we would definitely return.

Lovely, cozy cottage

Adorable and cozy little cottage with high-quality finishes throughout. We very much appreciated the goodies that awaited us upon arrival. We brought our dog with us and took advantage of the proximity to Edinburgh. Nearby Kelso has lots to offer, and we absolutely loved the seclusion of the cottage, despite its proximity to all of the activities!

Explore the Borders

Great central location from which to explore the Borders region from Bamburgh to Melrose ; from the Alnwick Gardens to Edinburgh. After a great day exploring to return to our quiet countryside cottage for a relaxing glass while watching the sunset over the hills as the the horses enjoying a late night snack in the paddock and the swifts and bats doing tricks was wonderful . Enjoyed 7 perfect days. Jan and Phill

Fantastic cottage

I have had a fantastic stay with my 2 dogs at the Old Nenthorn Cottage. The cottage is spacious, spotlessly clean, very welcoming and the welcome pack was a lovely touch. It is very comfortable, with a great outlook of the wonderful countryside and an excellent base for exploring the Scottish Borders. There are plenty of great dog walks nearby and the beautiful coast is less than 1 hours drive away, so the best of both worlds. I would definitely recommend Old Nenthorn Cottage and if I return to the Scottish Borders in the future, I wouldn’t hesitate in booking again.

A really wonderful holiday - utter heaven

The owner couldn't have been more helpful or the welcome basket more inviting! The cottage is spacious yet utterly cosy. So warm despite the freezing weather outside and beautifully clean. The most comfortable bed we have ever stayed in and the fluffy bathrobes were pure indulgence. So many spoiling touches to make the stay even more special. We had our dog with us and we could walk for miles through glorious countryside right from our front door. Can't recommend it enough.

Perfect little cottage

Absolutely loved our stay, perfect for the dog, lovely big garden, she loved watching the horses, as well as the many walks on the doorstep. The cottage is so cosy and clean. When we arrived there was wine, cake, crisps and tea left for us, which was a lovely little touch. Thank you for making it a perfect weekend for us, we hope to be back!!

Thank you Mirry for a wonderfully peaceful stay at your super cottage near Kelso. Immaculately clean and charmingly furnished we had a lovely break with great walks from the house and the beautiful outlook from the lounge. Looking forward to booking our next visit soon.

A LITTLE PIECE OF HEAVEN

A most comfortable, cosy, clean and tastefully decorated little home. The welcome pack was a very thoughtful and tasty treat. Soooo comfortable and clean. Peaceful, relaxing break

Lovely cottage, perfect for 2 people and dog. Good access with wheelchair and well equipped with everything we needed. Very peaceful, relaxing location and just what was needed. Enjoyed visit to Borders Distillery in Hawick and lunch at Born in the Borders. Will definitely recommend!

A Piece of Heaven

Beautiful location handy for everything but rural enough to enjoy peace,quiet and tranquility. Quality property,exceeded our expectations couldn’t fault anything. Extremely clean and tidy quality fixtures and fittings,plenty utensils etc. Beautiful welcome pack. Fab garden for our dog,endless nights watching bunny rabbits hopping in the garden and listening to tranquil stream running at the end of the garden. Deers,barn owl,bats and horses,a definite animal lovers haven. Lots of beautiful walks on the door. Couldn’t want for more. Get booking people cause we will definitely be back! Thanks to Miranda for helping to make our stay a very memorable one.

A perfect place to relax!

We spend five days in the beautiful cottage of Miranda and we just loved it. Very quite, very relaxing and you are surrounded by true nature, horses and birds. The house is clean and fitted with everything you need for your holiday. The fast broadband internet was just installed the day we arrived. Miranda is a great host and always there when you need her - the welcome package was great to feel quickly at home. We will come again!

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt in einem tollen Häuschen!

Wir haben die 5 Nächte in Old Nenthorn sehr genossen, es ist sehr ländlich und ruhig dort und ideal mit Hund! Das Haus ist gemütlich und liebevoll ausgestattet und der Willkommensgruß war eine große Freude für uns. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hier übernachten, vielen Dank an die Vermieter!
