Esta casa es parte de un dúplex frente a Clear Creek. Incluye una cubierta delantera y trasera rodeada de pinos y álamos temblones, y la cubierta del patio trasero es lo suficientemente grande como para socializar y disfrutar del clima de verano. El interior incluye una gran sala de estar (con un sofá cama plegable incluido), una cocina totalmente equipada y un comedor. I'm a little surprised at the guest comment about (lack of ?) privacy. To clarify, the guest was made aware in the listing, and by message, that she was renting the upper suite of the house, and that I would be staying on the lower floor. Although the upper suite does have it's own entrance, it is to be expected that we would encounter each other from time to time.

Great location and host, central location easy walk or drive to several attractions and restaurants. Host was able to answer questions and give recommendations of the area and how to get there, and even took me on tour of the town. Plus stay came with Maggie which is a very friendly dog that likes attention.
Loveland pass views are great in Georgetown

Everything was great. Host was attentive and the onsite manager was so sweet. Only thing I was disappointed about was the hot tub was not functioning and I had expected to be able to use it.

Unfortunately the guest did not note or perhaps understand the property description. It is clearly stated that the hot tub is out of service from November 1st through May 1st. This is due to a couple of mishaps during the winter when the unit has frozen, resulting in very costly repairs.

Perfect Mountain Stay

The property was so perfect! Richard (and Maggie) were friendly and the place was adorable! It was close to everything in Georgetown. We walked to the restaurants and the Clear Creek and lake. Loved it!

Such an idyllic spot in Georgetown! We could not have asked for a better home or a more gracious host. Richard is such a great guy, and don’t get me started on his pup Maggie. We would recommend Richard‘s place wholeheartedly! Right by a small lake and only an hour or two from amazing horseback riding and rapids. Ideal.

Mountain creek retreat

If your looking for a mountain getaway for a weekend, this is a pefect place. We loved the outdoor kitchen and amenities. Richard was a lovely host and the view was amazing. The property is stuation along the creek and is a short walk to Georgetown Lake. We will definitely be back for another visit soon.

Quick get-away

Stayed just one night in the upstairs suite. Very much enjoyed our stay. No complaints at all with the accommodations. Richard and Maggie were pleasant and helpful hosts. We're planning to stay again and rent entire property later this year.

Location, premises, and host were great. My only small complaint is that the host is on site and it is not clear whether a host is on site and whether you get the place to yourself. Again, the host was great it just wasn’t clear whether the host would be staying in the same house ahead of time.

The property description does state that the owner would be on site during the summer months, performing landscaping and garage renovations. In addition, the rental is for the upper floor only and not the whole house.

Very Nice Room in Shared House

This is a lovely two bed bedroom with great bathroom amenities, small fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Very comfortable and has nice sky lights as well. The owner is very nice and has a sweet dog.

Amazing Mountain Ambiance

What a superb place to stay if you are in the Rockies to hike, bike, ski or just enjoy the mountain air and scenery. Our host, Richard was more than accommodating and thoughtful. We so enjoyed cooking on the outdoor kitchen patio on the grill. We only regret we could not stay another night to enjoy the hot tub and more patio star gazing.

Beautiful but not private

This is a beautiful property. I probably didn't read well enough. It was a shared property. He was incredibly nice. I just thought I was getting a private place.

Not sure why Haley only awarded 3 stars. She liked the property, it is in a beautiful location, the host was very accommodating and it is very affordable. The only issue is her own misunderstanding that she was renting a suite and not the whole house, which is clearly shown in the property description. Perhaps she meant to apply this rating to herself.

Above all expectations!

Richard was a great host. Every detail was first class, from the comfortable bed to the claw foot tub and rain shower with multiple spray heads. Richard’s kind demeanor and helpful knowledge regarding local events was an added touch. Maggie, Richard’s black lab is a fine door greater. Thank you Richard for all of your hospitality. Simply Lovely

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this VRBO. The host was both friendly & welcoming. Possible guests do need to be aware that when the owner is on site, you will be entering through the main part of the house to get to the room for rent. If you’re an introvert or very private person, this may not be the best fit. That being said, we will be back!! It is perfectly located between the high country & Denver with amazing views for 360°!!

We will never forget - The mountains. The lakes. The bighorn sheep. The fire pit and the stars. The warm welcome with snow on the ground. The fresh air. The comfortable room and claw foot tub. Maggie the Lab. Richard the host and his storytelling. Inaugurating the pergola over the hot tub. Tommyknockers Brewery and Queens Thrift in nearby Idaho Springs. A little bit of Colorado heaven.

We’ll Be Back!

Georgetown was the perfect place for a quiet mountain experience. The accommodations were outstanding, and host and hostess were so friendly and fun. We may not be allowed back, but we’ll try anyway. We unknowingly fed a bear on the patio (leftovers), but the only damage was the scattered tomatoes and jalapeños off the pizza slices- evidently that bear wasn’t a fan. Host Richard has a great sense of humor and was also extremely kind as well as accommodating.

Perfect stay

The Georgetown house was the perfect place for our stay. Going to the Red Rocks concerts was an easy drive. The quiet atmosphere of Georgetown over the hustle bustle of the Denver was just what we were looking for.

Richard (and Maggie!) were the best hosts for me and my sister's stay in Georgetown, and made sure we had everything we needed! The place was clean and comfortable and close to great hiking and great food! We can't recommend this place enough!!

Ideally located, minutes from great skiing at Loveland and hiking/fishing/climbing in the surrounding mountains. Having a vacation home in the mountains was always one of our goals, we set up the house so our guests can enjoy it as much as we do.
