Tranquilo río Arkansas Hideaway

¿Es usted alguien que aprecia y quiere mostrar a otros la belleza y tranquilidad de este increíble, relajante pedazo de cielo? ¿Te gusta el sonido de una corriente de cualquier ventana abierta en la casa? Disfrute de su estancia en nuestra escapada tranquila, limpia! Nos encanta y sé que usted (y sus hijos o nietos) también lo hará.

Es un 1,200 pies cuadrados de retiro, y se ha detallado para hacer su estancia cómoda y memorable.

La casa tiene dos dormitorios, un baño y una sala de estar con dos futones - todos dos camas tamaño queen, un total de dos camas de tamaño completo, y dos camas individuales. La cocina está totalmente equipada para cualquier comida, café recién molido, un tratamiento apres ski, o una barbacoa familiar. La mesa de la cocina se encuentra seis, con espacio para tres más en el bar del desayuno. La casa se encuentra en más de un acre, que se presta a paseos cortos o largos, disfrutando de la corriente (que se ejecuta durante todo el año, y está a sólo yardas de la casa), oliendo el aire fresco de la montaña, sentado fuera y leer un libro - o haciendo algunas obras de arte!

La cercana ciudad de Salida cuenta con muchas actividades: Galerías de arte en abundancia, piscina cubierta de aguas termales, bolera, sala de incubación, lagos, ciclismo, senderismo, pesca, rafting, bodega, teatro en vivo, restaurantes, bares, eventos de verano y vacaciones, a caballo volar montar, go-kart, raquetas de nieve, motos de nieve. . . . Hacer todo eso - y después - volver a nuestro escondite y ver la vida silvestre, tomar una copa de vino por la corriente, jugar herraduras o badmitten, leer un libro, tomar algunas fotos, ver una película, cocinar una fiesta, escuchar a la música, y dormir con el sonido de la Cherry Creek justo fuera de su ventana. Tenemos libros, películas, televisión vía satélite, DVD y VCR capacidad.

Se trata de una zona de juegos durante todo el año! Caminatas con raquetas de nieve de verano, la luna de invierno (raquetas previstas tres), caza de setas y caen la fotografía en color. Nunca es un mal momento para visitar.

Para los padres y abuelos: Sepa que hay libros, juguetes y juegos, un paquete-n-play con sábanas de cuna, baño taburete y asientos elevados para un pequeño!

The host is great and genuinely cares about the experience of the guests! She’s taken great care to ensure that the cabin feels like home, from ample towels, purified water, quality dishes and cooking utensils, comfortable indoor and outdoor seating, cozy designing. The property is amazing! The cabin is cozy but big enough that you’re not tripping over each other, great star gazing, and zen inducing stream!

Exactly what was needed for our family. We all enjoyed the sound of the creek while we were sleeping and eating meals. Everything is there that you need. Our sons also enjoyed playing us songs on the piano while we cooked each day. Host is extremely responsive and helpful. Beautiful drive from the cabin to Salida, is about 15min. We will be back!

We had an absolutely amazing time in this cozy cabin! This cabin was conveniently close to both Salida and Canon City! The location of the cabin was perfectly tucked away in the mountain and the trickling creek was an added bonus.

Just what we needed

Tanya's slice of heaven was just what we needed for a quick weekend getaway. The cabin is away from it all, easy to get to, and Tanya was super helpful and friendly. Kitchen was great for cooking, the cute little stream was a wonderful backdrop when sitting on the deck grilling with a few cocktails, and the drive to Salida offers many opportunities to pull off on the river and find a simming/fishing hole. We'll be back again!

Peaceful spot

We really enjoyed our stay in the cabin. Quiet and surrounded by trees, we liked watching birds and butterflies while sitting by the stream. The cabin was very clean and comfortable, it had everything we needed.

This is a very nice, quiet, peaceful cabin. The Arkansas River runs right in front and the rushing stream can be heard all night with the windows open. It's clean, offers a well-stocked kitchen, and more creature comforts than we were expecting. Great place to stay!

Truly is a slice of heaven.

Really couldn’t have asked for a nicer, more peaceful place to just hang out for a few days. The morning coffee and evening chats on the deck while listening to the creek was priceless.

Christmas Getaway

My family decided to go somewhere with snow for Christmas. This was the perfect spot. Glad we chose this area of Colorado because it wasn’t as crowded. The cabin is great. Family of 4 and there is plenty of room and sleeping arraignments. We enjoyed snow mobiles and tubing at Monarch Mountain. We did go find the hot springs one day. Mostly my girls enjoyed playing the Simpson’s clue game at the cabin. Tanya was easy to get ahold of for any questions. I can only imagine how perfect it is in the summer with the windows open and stream right there. Thanks for the great memories.

Friends and family fishing trip

Each member of our group commented on how clean the property was when we arrived. It was a perfect location to easily get to wherever we wanted while feeling secluded at the same time. Sitting on the deck and listening to the water in the creek was relaxing and peaceful.

Beautiful getaway

This was a fantastic home away from home! The location was magical along side the creek, the owner was helpful and friendly, and the home itself was comfortable and so awesome! Make sure to do a day trip to Salida which is a beautiful artsy town!

A Hidden Gem in Howard

We decided to rent the cabin while visiting family in Howard. The owner had everything you need, a full kitchen, bath and bedroom linens, available games, books, and a CD collection. My children had the best time playing around the stream while my husband and I relaxed on the deck. The spot is absolutely perfect and just exudes relaxation. The owner was extremely attentive, calling the week before arrival to answer any questions and then again on the night of check in to make sure everything was satisfactory. She actually called one time during our stay to let us know the northern lights would be visible if we were interested. You can’t get kinder than that!! She also stated during our first conversation that if we didn’t want her to, she wouldn’t call at all. I cannot recommend the Kriss Cabin enough. It was the perfect choice for us to unwind after busy days of sightseeing. Please note, this is a cabin on a mountain surrounded by trees with a beautiful creek. You will not have Mountain views. We knew that and were happy to be tucked away with the sound of birds and the creek right in the middle of nature.

Kriss Cabin

If you need some place to relax and take in nature this is the place! The property is beautiful and so relaxing and the sound of the stream is awesome! This is for sure the most calming and peaceful place we have stayed! The hostess is awesome and kind. She made sure we had everything we needed and so accommodating to us. If you need a break for yourself or family this is it!!!!!!❤️. Can’t wait for us to come back!

A little piece of paradise...

What a neat property! My husband and i came with our teenaged daughter and one of her friends tp go whitewater rafting and just spend some "mountain time." This was the perfect spot. It truly felt like a family cabin. We loved coffee in the morning outside (me), exploring the creek (the girls), and listening to the fabulous CD collection (hubby). We'll definitely be back!

Great mom and daughter get away!

We loved our time at the Kriss cabin although it wasn't long enough! The cabin was so clean and stocked with all the right items, The stream out front was just dreamy! The beds were comfortable and the large living room was filled with natural light. The host couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Thank you for sharing your place with us!

I live in the Denver area, and love bringing my two children up to the cabin for weekend getaways. We use the cabin whenever we get a chance, but we also enjoy sharing it with other families! Through the years of renting out my cabin, I have met some really great people, and have "seen" families make some wonderful memories. There are many repeat guests who have made this special place a part of their family history.

The entire area offers an unlimited number of activities for couples, families, friends, and individuals. The views, the fresh air, the mountain smells, the rushing stream... how can you even narrow down the best part? As a family, we have had a number of unforgettable experiences -- from the white water rafting and ziplining to quiet family movie nights and night hikes. This area is hands down our favorite place to be... we plan our trips to the cabin as frequently as our schedule will allow... and we always have a difficult time leaving.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

One of the best things about this cabin is the water! The stream and the sound of running water is truly relaxing. The house is clean, comfortable, and perfectly located for the many activities the Salida area has to offer. It is perfect for a family, an adventurer, a fisher, a hiker, a cook, a napper, a cyclist, an artist, or a reader. Salida is a slice of heaven, and we know anyone who spends any time there would agree!
