This is a nice house for the 5 of us. The bikes and beach chairs really came in handy, as well as the beach cart. The place was clean and just as listed. My only suggestion is that there be some more or better cooking equipment (pans and kitchen tools especially). Also, bring your own consumables (noted in the listing).

Wonderful stay

We enjoyed our stay very much. Wonderful location and the management communication was great. The master bedroom mattress is hard and a little uncomfortable but not unbearable. Overall, we had an excellent time.

Very nice place.

Really clean and peaceful place to stay. We loved the house and the property. Only problem was the Saturday gate check in process. If you arrive between 3-5:50pm you can expect to take at least 30 minutes to get in. Even going to the store afterwards took 30 minutes to get back in. Traffic was backed up with everyone arriving to get checked in.

We Love This Neighborhood

We have stayed in 6 different houses in this neighborhood. Sunny Daze was fine. We would stay her again. Loved sitting outside on the upstairs balcony A couple of complaints. A mammoth cockroach the first morning. We are from the north - the south has large bugs. We kept the light on in the kitchen and did not see any others. We used the toaster everyday, but one day it set off the smoke alarm - I think we did more than 1 slice toast. We used the oven 3 times and the 3rd time it set off the smoke alarm - I think because of the 400 degree setting, There is something melted on the bottom of the oven that I tried wiping off but I think it is beyond cleaning.

Definitely wasn’t enough towels stayed 5 nights, had three washcloths in all And 4 hand towels and not many bathtowels. Remote was missing in master bed so couldn’t watch tv called and requested these items, no one ever came. Kindnn be of sad

Hairy Virus

Property was recently renovated. The house is very nice. Initial cleanliness was an issue. We had to clean bathrooms because of being dirty and lots of hair on the bathroom floor. We wiped down the switches and railings, which turned the rags black. We received new sheets at 1:00am because of hairs on the initial ones the first night. We received extra toilet paper because of the shortage caused by the corona virus. The only issues we had were due to the cleaning service issues and not the management. House was very nice and a very short walk to walkover #1. We enjoyed our stay except for being cut short due to the COVID-19 virus. Thanks to Sunny Daze for our enjoyable stay.

Not what pictured!

Not well maintained Kitchen floor tile dirty, cracked and holes. Two toilets broken but fixed after finally reaching maintenance. Needs to have regular exterminator as roaches and spiders. Front door does not open easily. Condition of sheets in one bedroom not up to same standards as downstairs plus no mattress pad on bed. Towels were mostly clean but some had hair all over them. Icemaker on fridge.not working. Kitchen sink drain stopper fell apart. In general felt like had been had for price paid. Did like washer and dryer! Need to get a discount.

It could have been better

We have been coming to Carillon every labor day for the past 18 years. We have stayed in numerous houses and this was by far not the best. The house was not clean, the counters were dirty, the floors were dirty, the porches looked like they have not been swept or clean in months, We stayed for 6 nights and we were left with 2 dishwasher pods, and 2 trash bags and 3 rolls of toilet paper (1 roll in each bathroom) for our entire stay. When we arrived, the owner had control over the air and it took 2 calls to get them to turn it off 82 degrees. The house was overpriced and I will never rent this house again. I would think that if someone was renting a house for 6 nights during a major holiday, it would have been clean and enough trash bags, toilet paper and dishwasher detergent to last those 6 days. We have NEVER has this issue with any of the houses we have stayed in over the past 18 years in Carillon.

As mentioned in our property description, we provide enough amenities to get you started. Most guests end up making a trip to the grocery store at some point during their stay. The Perfect Spring Break

We could not have been more thrilled with this property or our stay at Sunny Daze. The home itself is gorgeous and incredibly comfortable with all the "at home" amenities you will need. I'd love to hire their decorator!! HA! It's location is fantastic - less than a minute's walk to a generously heated pool, tennis/pickle ball courts, a playground area and well lit basketball court. When my 10yo boy wasn't at the beach, he was shooting hoops, playing pickle ball with his dad or hanging at the pool. It's also less than a three minute walk to the beach. The lounge chair service was heavenly. The waters couldn't have been more clear or beautiful. The beaches were so quiet, not even close to being crowded. It felt at times like we had the beach to ourselves! I felt like Carillon had a Seaside like feel to it minus the chaotic (and super fun) food truck/shopping scene. But it was close enough to Seaside (15 minutes maybe?!) that we were able to spend time there as well when we felt like being less lazy and more social :). We've been vacationing in the Destin/Ft. Walton Beach area for over 10 years now but fell in love with 30A about 3 years ago. We are so over the moon thrilled to have found this GEM of a home/area in Carillon Beach. If I could move tomorrow I would! It was the perfect getaway for our family of five (kids are 9, 10 and 13) to reconnect, relax, and adventure. We rent through VRBO 1-2 per year and have for years so if I could leave one teeny, tiny critique for the owner, it would be to get a smaller area rug for the screened in porch area. The front door catches on the rug EVERY time you open the door and prevents you from being able to open the door all the way. So, when you're carrying in loads of luggage, groceries, or all the beach "stuff", it can get a little annoying. I would also add (because I did not catch this when I was looking at properties) that renters should be aware that the bedroom with the bunk beds is on the first floor and it is the ONLY bedroom on the first floor. Because our kiddos are older now, that worked out great! BUT when they were smaller, it would have made me a little uneasy to have them be sleeping alone on the main level. We would stay at this property again in a heartbeat and feel very blessed to have had this time together in such a PERFECT home/area.

We enjoyed our stay at Carillon Beach Resort. We loved the resort. The property is gorgeous. Our only complaint about the resort is the pools are small. Sunny Daze was nice. The check-in process was a bit confusing and the screened porch was filled with floats and sand toys that had been left but other than that it was a nice property. We would stay again.

Location is wonderful! Compared to neighboring homes this house needs work and maintenance.

Beautiful neighborhood and beach. House location is ideal! Needs some major paint and maintenance on the outside compared to other homes nearby. The shower in the King room desperately needs caulking. Dining chairs legs are weak and unstable

Great property and location!

Sunnyside is a great house in Carillon Resort. Perfect for a quick Thanksgiving getaway. Great resort amenities and plenty of beach access points in a short walking distance. Close location to the beaches of 30A without the congestion. We experienced a couple issues with the check-in process that the property manager resolved.

Thank you Carmen, Carillon Beach is a hidden gem, and we feel Sunnyside up is our favorite getaway as well.

Carillon at it’s best

One error which got corrected fairly quickly concerning access to door key. Combination provided was wrong. Second combo provided was wrong. Third try worked fine. Outside of that a great stay. We truly enjoy Carillon and that’s why we keep coming back.

Great house in a great location

We loved our week in Sunny Daze. The location is great for walks to the pool or beach. The furniture on the porches was nice and cozy for enjoying a glass of tea and a good book. The kitchen was well equipped. Our kids loved the games we found on the shelves. We highly recommend Sunny Daze and hope to return!
