Memorial Day 2023

We had a group of 10 stay at his property and it was great. As advertised. The Carillon community is one of our favorites and we have stay at several properties in Carillon and Tortuga Crush ranked right up there. Location is perfect. Very spacious. Clean. Room for multiple small groups to spread out.

Great house for large group

This property held 6 adults and 5 children (ages 8, 6, 6, 4, and 2) wonderfully! The kids loved all the decor. We were only able to stay 3 nights but definitely want to stay longer next time! Some of my favorites about the property: Close proximity to the beach crosswalk, extra fridge in laundry room, clean upon arrival, carillon community is awesome, no issues during stay The only “inconveniences” were the WiFi password and gate codes weren’t accurate in the email but were quickly remedied, guard at gate didn’t have our information and had to make passes for us when we pulled up- but he was so kind and was apologetic that he wasn’t ready for us, there was a large roach upstairs in the master bedroom on the first night we were there, but didn’t see another one for the entire trip. In a nutshell, we will absolutely use this house for future vacations! What a great place! Thanks for sharing it with my family to make awesome memories.

Great Location & Space, Needs TLC

This was our second time staying in this home (our 10th time staying in Carillon Beach). The home is spacious and well-located and is a great space for large groups. Unfortunately it has deferred maintenance throughout, extremely outdated and damaged furniture and lighting and has quite sub-par toiletries and such for what is typically provided in this price point (or any vacation rental I’ve stayed in). We were provided one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, one kitchen trash bag, & one dishwasher pod. We had to purchase trash bags, soap, shampoo and conditioner, paper towels, laundry and dish detergent etc. just to make it through the week. For spending over $4,200 I would expect for those basic things to be included. There were also no beach towels or beach chairs provided (every other home in the neighborhood that I have rented provides these things with the rental), so we had to pack those from home. All relatively minor things that are just a headache to have to do on vacation. Again, the location and space of the home are great. It would just benefit greatly from some maintenance and small property management touches to make guests’ stays more stress-free.
