Esta casa ha sido nuestra casa de vacaciones familiar desde los años 90. Recientemente renovado. La propiedad está muy aislada y es probable que no vea vecinos durante su estadía, lo cual es ideal para relajarse y disfrutar de las hermosas vistas. ¡Durante su estadía, es probable que vea animales salvajes como alces, ciervos mula, pavos salvajes, zorros y más! Disfrute sumergiéndose en la bañera de hidromasaje mientras contempla las estrellas mientras escucha el arroyo privado en la propiedad de más de 12 acres. Todo con el lujo y las comodidades de una casa de lujo bien surtida y perfectamente mantenida. 60 min de DIA, 60 min de las estaciones de esquí populares, 45 min de Denver, 20 min de Red Rocks. ¡Disfrutar!

My family of 7 had a wonderful stay! We took advantage of the hiking trails just a half mile away, which was a great way to spend an afternoon. The deck was great for hanging out and watching the hummingbirds, which were plentiful! The kitchen looked like it had recently been renovated and we cooked at least one meal per day at “home”. This was a perfect place to reconnect with family in a lovely setting. It was also centrally located for our outings. We saw a concert at red rocks, went to Estes Park, Rocky Mountain National Park, Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, a Rockies Game, and saw some sights in Denver. Thanks for a great vacation!

Peaceful

10 of us were in town for a wedding. The property fit us perfectly. Our group enjoyed the Hot Tub. Communication with Alexander was great. One of our group was unloading their car and heard a sound in the woods. It was a small black bear that scurried away as soon as they spotted each other. Great property that I would highly recommend.

Family Wedding

This house is just awesome! Beautiful setting! Interior is just as the pictures show. Wild life early in the morning and the evening! We saw a deer with her new baby! And hummingbirds all around! The kids did the trails just 10 minutes down the road. And then the road dead ends at the North Fork South Platte river. Another beautiful setting! My son in law did some fishing there but didn't catch anything! The house is located anywhere from 30 minutes, 1.5 to 2 hours to some of the great places to visit. And stop at the Snowpack Taproom and Pizzaria! Great food and the night we were there was a bluegrass jam session! Again the house will not disappoint!

Great place!

House is secluded, view was amazing and is perfect for red rocks concert travel! Host was SO helpful and quick to respond. House was very well stocked, hot tub and steam room were awesome. We will definitely be back!

Secret Hideaway

The property is nestled in a bed of conifers perched high on the hills, surrounded by wildlife, birds, peace and quiet. It's minutes away from several accessible hiking trails, Platt River, and summer adventures such as zip lining that are family friendly, for all ages. The home itself is lovely and has many rooms. Perfect for my big family and grandchildren. Large open spaces.

Amazing home

We loved to stay at Hummingbird Haven. The property is wonderful, secluded, yet easy to reach. Great location! Easy access to walks and hikes. There are many skiing areas not too far away. Alexander- was extremely helpful and nice! Thank you very much and we will be back 😊

Beautiful mountain home with stream on property.

Beautiful home in the mountains for nature lovers. Listened to the stream from the master bedroom at night after stargazing in the hot tub. Very clean and well kept. Nice appliances and furnishings. Enjoyed all the hummingbirds and relaxing on the deck. Just a few minutes to great hiking in Reynold's Park.

Family 60th Birthday Weekend

Our extended family of 10 adults and 2 teenagers had a wonderful stay. Large deck table was great for dining and games as well as the large kitchen/dining area. Kitchen was well stocked with good quality pots, pans and serving dishes. Everything you need to cook and serve a large group. Bedrooms were quiet and the perfect arrangement for our group. Hiking trails just a quarter mile down the road. No neighbors in site, only the pine tree covered mountains. Beautiful!! New sauna was not operational yet and the proposed addition of a way to wade in the creek that flows through the property will be a great addition. For now, falling asleep to the sound of the babbling brook was delightful.

A Private Retreat

The location is private with no neighbors in sight of the home. The creek running thru the property makes this a peaceful & relaxing getaway. The home easily fit 12 adults without it seeming crowded. It has everything you need for your stay even with a large group. The owner is a great communicator & was quick to respond to our questions. Would recommend for those with a big group looking for time in the mountains.

Perfect place for us!

Loved the house and location, and Alex is a great host! He communicated well, responded quickly, both before and throughout our time there. Though not what we would call remote or isolated, Hummingbird Haven is private, with a feeling of seclusion. It's just off a paved road and is conveniently located for access to many Colorado attractions and activities. An explanation of the house layout may be helpful to some prospective guests. The main level has a big kitchen/dining area with access to the spacious deck and hot tub; a large living area with a very comfy, large sectional; a half bath; a bedroom with queen bed; and the master suite. The upper level has a landing with full bath, desk/office area, and two queen bedrooms. All bedrooms are spacious and comfortably furnished. The futon room is on the lower level, along with a full bath and the laundry room. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, silverware. This host doesn't skimp on supplies - plenty of toilet tissue, paper towels, hand soap, dish soap, etc. The deck is large and a great place to gather. The hummingbirds are a delightful source of entertainment all day. Our family of 11 (ages 11 to 80) loved Hummingbird Haven and highly recommend it!

Great place and location

Great house in a perfect location. Close to several hiking trails, a short ride to the grocery store but in a secluded and quiet area. The house was perfect.

Very pleasant and peaceful

This was the perfect getaway for our family. The house was very clean and spacious. We enjoyed eating dinner together on the deck and then relaxing in the hot tub. Beautiful setting - you can't see or hear any neighbors. A beautiful drive to the property, only 5 minutes from Safeway, and 2 minutes from great hiking. Definitely recommend!!

Family get-away in the mountains

This was a great home base where we cooked meals together, lounged in the hot tub and chilled with family. We loved the hummingbirds and babbling brook. Alex is a great host and we appreciated all of his restaurant and scenic drive suggestions.

Beautiful property and Excellent Host!!!

As wonderful as they are, the photos truly do not do this home justice! The views are fantastic. There is a beautiful babbling brook that you can listen to from the deck. The hot tub, fire pit, and all the lovely humming birds! Oh my! We had a group of 11 and there was plenty of room! And the kitchen is SO well stocked!!! Our whole group agreed that this was the best house any of us have ever rented. There are enough dishes for a huge group! And every single pan, dish, kitchen implement you could possibly want or need is here!! This house has the best stocked kitchen of any I have ever stayed at!! Wow! And last but not least, there is Alex. BEST HOST EVER!!!! If I could give Alex 10,000 stars...I would! He made everything super easy. Offered recommendations! He offers tours! Again, hands down best rental experience EVER!! We will definitely be back, Alex!! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us! It was magical!!

Great property

Just returned from a long weekend staying at Alex’s place for a 50th birthday/family gathering. Alex was a great and communicative host and the house had plenty of space for all - spacious common areas, as well as a great kitchen and deck area (where we spent most of our time). Recommend taking advantage of the Reynolds Park trails just down the road and enjoying the hot tub upon return.

Bride/Groom Wedding House

My wife and I got married a few miles down the road and we needed a place to house our wedding party and significant others. Alexander was super helpful with check-in even letting us tour the house before our special weekend so we could schematically setup sleeping arrangements. The house is beautiful and has all the perks you would ever want for a quiet mountain house. Alexander went above and beyond to take us up to the top of the mountain where my wife and I actually did our first look. So he used his UTV to shuttle us and the photographer/videographer up the mountain and those shots might be out favorite of the entire weekend. Really appreciate the hospitality and would definitely recommend to anyone else!! Thanks again Xander!!

I must stay get away for the family just outside Denver

The pictures do not do the property justice. The house is spacious and so well taken care of. Each room is well maintained, intentionally decorated, and full of every essential you could need for your stay. There are not only enough bedrooms for a larger family, but there are enough spacious showers to keep everyone in the group clean and happy after long hikes at Reynolds Park, just a quarter mile down the street. Overall, the space is well maintained, intentionally put together, and perfect for the family.
