My husband and I travelled all our married life with our children and our grandchildren. Our home is a reflection of our travels and love of the many souls with whom we still feel a connection. We both love reading, love classical music, good healthy food (preferably organic), and love hosting. We are nature lovers, and designed and built our meditation garden in the "Oriental" style. There are paths for strolling, Koi ponds, Statuary, and the occasional whimsical "creature" tucked in the foliage (fun for kids to find. ) Find a bench or large rock for resting and meditation. Included in our design we used Feng Shui principles for enhanced energy both for our home and garden re-connecting us and our guests to Nature.

We have always loved to meet new people from all over the world, and we now invite you to stay at our home in the redwoods.

Our home is larger than most with 6K SqFt with nine sleeping areas lending itself to an ideal family reunion, an event celebration, or retreats. The decks surround the home allowing for tables for a large group, sun bathing, hot tub star gazing, yoga, and ceremonies. For eating outdoors , there is a Trager Smoker for barbecuing, lots of seating/tables and Melamine type dishware, glasses.
The property has 16 acres of garden, redwood trees, and abuts Jackson State Forest of 55 thousand acres which one can enter from our SE gate. There is total privacy from neighbors, with the advantage of Dolores, your host who lives across the road in a cottage and is available immediately should there be a need.
Inside the huge home there are plenty of spaces to read with a Library with lots of interesting material. Many choices of games for young and "less young" to play together. Outside Corn Hole on the deck, Inside a 500 sqft Entertainment Room for Ping Pong, Foos Ball, TV, and a second game room called the Competition Chess Landing with three set up chess boards. And yet there are private areas where others might prefer quiet (Sun Room and Atrium) to meet and converse and play cards, do puzzles with family and friends,
Outside a firepit with chairs in a fairy ring for night time bonfire and S'Mores! All ages love the treat of "camping", smells of the forest, story telling, and singing loudly as you can!
As for meal preparation for a group, the country kitchen is huge with double food preparation areas. Double refrigerators, double ovens, double ranges, double sinks... We have had professional Chefs laud it for its size and amenities. There is a formal dining room with room enough for 20+, elegant and facing the beautiful redwoods.
