Overall, a WONDERFUL VIEW and great location to be able to visit the Fort Bragg/Mendocino area!!! Easy access to the botanical garden parking lot. The two small things that would have been nice would be able to walk on the roads in the neighborhood and have some existing trails right by the house. It seems like the botanical garden and the neighborhood are close enough to have trails.

Great location for a family getaway. A lot of amenities and loved that it was dog friendly. The view is lovely! It was clean and the hot tub was a nice touch for those that wanted it.

The house is absolutely beautiful, the view outstanding, and the customer service was over the top! The beds were super comfy, the sheets really soft, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. My only complaint is that we didn't stay long enough.

Wonderful home on the bluffs

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Gorgeous views, wide open area to gather. Nice bedrooms. Had everything we needed! The hot tub was a nice bonus that we enjoyed! Thanks for having us. We're already looking to plan another trip!

Amazing property, view was awesome. The beds were so comfortable and views from every room. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. Very clean in and outside. Conveniently located for exploring Fort Bragg and surrounding attractions. Highly recommend staying here.

Perfect house to feel like home with your people!

The view! The bench’s on the bluff, the hot tub, the fully stocked kitchen, the game room, and the disc golf course! All incredible!

Beautiful Place

Overall this place was absolutely AMAZING. There is only one thing we didn't like check out time was 10am. That place is so amazing we just wanted to stay and continue to look at the view just a little longer. We can't wait to go back and enjoy this property again.

We were in Fort Bragg/Mendocino for our son's wedding! We had a wonderful stay at this lovely ocean front home in a private, quiet neighborhood. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and appliances. There was plenty of comfortable seating and space for our family. The view from the bench in the backyard is simply spectacular (such a peaceful spot)! The game room provided lots of fun!The only recommendation we have for the property manager/owners is that it would be nice to have the windows facing the ocean cleaned before guests arrived. The ocean view was one of the main reasons we chose the home so it was very disappointing to walk in and the windows were so dirty that we didn't have a clear view of the ocean. Other than that, a wonderful and memorable stay, for a very happy occasion!!

A great stay, with few small issues

We had a lovely stay at this home. It is beautiful and the location right at the ocean, overlooking the bluffs, is truly stunning. It is a spacious house that can easily sleep 12 people. My only feedback was twofold: one, that the couches and dining room table ought to be larger, as though the house can sleep 12 people, you cannot easily seat over 8 people for dinner or a movie. Second, since I rented the house through Vrbo, and the house is managed through Vacasa, we had a difficult and lengthy time getting through to the actual owner of the house when a small issue arose (the code to acquire the key to the front door was missing). Drilling down through two layers of management to get to the owner was a bit of a pain.However, at the end of the day we had a lovely time in an absolutely gorgeous property and I would go back in a heartbeat!

Beautiful property that’s badly managed

This is a gorgeous house that has simply stunning views, perched on a bluff overlooking the ocean. It was a terrific spot for a working winter vacation getaway for our small group of friends. Rooms were very nicely appointed with cozy bedding and cute cottage decor. The central great room / kitchen area was an ideal place to hang out by the fire and chat or prepare a nice meal. It’s just disappointing that the property is not being cared for at the level it deserves and we expected given the price. We had to contact the local Vacasa property manager repeatedly over the course of our stay about the following problems: Garbage disposal leaking (required two visits from repair person before getting fixed) Pest infestations: Dead bugs lined the walls in many rooms and a mouse nest was found under the TV stand in the back cottage (The person who cleaned up the mouse nest implied we must have let the mouse in. She also told us bugs just come in during winter and didn’t clean up them up.) Hot tub never heated above 90 degrees (I called Vacasa and left a message for them to come fix it and no one returned my call or showed up before we left 3 days later). Refrigerator freezer was not cold enough and so ruined the ice cream and frozen food we brought over the course of a few days. I hope Vacasa will get a better property management team in place that can work on the issues with this very special property and be more responsive to customers’ service needs.

We appreciate that you reached out and apologize for any perceived delays in service, we came to assist each time that you reached out. We frequently treat our homes with pest control and we are sorry if any pests got inside the home. When we were reached we sent a technician out to service the hot tub right away. The hot tub was and is working perfectly. We left a note on the refrigerator letting guests know that the ice maker was not working. We are addressing this soon. There is no leak under the sink, the garbage disposal was too full which was addressed in real-time by our tech. We hope to host you again in the future.
