Perfect location

Latitude 29 is the perfect location. Only a few minutes away from all things PCB, but far enough away that the crowds aren’t bad. The rooms are perfect for what we needed. I cooked a few nights and they had all the dishes and things I might need. Can’t beat the views.

Older but nice condo

Location is nice, in a quiet area right on the beach. Older furniture in unit but overall nice. Main bedroom was warm and street light was bright all night so a little hard to sleep.

Horrible!

When we arrived at property, the condo was very warm. We discovered the sliding door was off the track and just leaning against the frame. My husband’s able to put it back on track. We notified them of how we found unit. The unit also needs a deep clean! The next morning, a woman and two men knocked on door wanting to come in to do some type of inspection. Later that afternoon, we discovered that the other slider which had a glass film over it had broken and was all over balcony. There was so much glass we couldn’t open the slider to get on the balcony. Again, I let them know and they said someone would be out, Next morning, around 9 am three men were on our balcony ( they used a ladder to access balcony). We assumed they were there to fix the sliders and clean up the mess but NO they were painting. We also discovered the stove didn’t work. Long story short, no one ever came so we were unable to use the balcony and the unit never really cooled to a temp we like. We will never stay in another unit managed by this company again.

Do not stay in this unit

This was a very bad experience for my family. I am still waiting on VACASA to reimburse me for all of the issues I had. - no parking pass (I called VACASA when we walked in and didn’t see it. They said they would let their local team know and one would be delivered the next day. It was never delivered, and yes we gave permission to enter our unit.) - fan is stuck on low in the master bedroom making it very hot. We slept with the door open, and it didn’t help the flow. -mold in the master overflow drain - silverware all had dried food stuck to it. The kitchen knives, and forks were the worst. We ended up buying plastic forks, knives and paper plates due to the cleanliness of the eating utensils. -the washing machine was broken. I paid more for a unit with a washing machine in the unit, and I couldn’t use it. I was told by VACASA, they would let the local team know to come fix it, and remind them to bring a parking pass. It was never fixed and the parking pass was never given. - we lost power for 20 minutes on Friday. - we woke up Saturday with no water for check out. That meant we couldn’t run the dishwasher. We let VACSA know. This could explain the dried food on silverware. - the pipe in the wall of the master bedroom shakes and makes loud noises when you turn the water on in the sink. - when we came into the unit, we killed live roaches- it needs pest control. - I will never rent from VACASA again. I will rent from local managers that take care of their units.

Great location.

I will preface my comments by saying we have been coming to Latitude 29 for almost 33 years. We have also stayed in unit 23 a few times. We will be coming back in May 2023. Unit 23 could use some updating. The sliding door is almost impossible to open and close… it sticks terribly. They were also dirty and need cleaning. There is no door in unit 23 that closes properly. They are all warped. Blackout curtains that completely cover the bedroom window are desperately needed. The new streetlight shines into that window and the room is never dark for sleeping. At 1 am in the morning it is so bright the room appears as if it 6 am in the morning. Blackout curtains that completely cover the window would help. There is also only one piece of artwork in the entire condo. It just isn’t as warm and inviting as it used to be. It would also be nice to have 2 trash bags in the kitchen instead of just one. (One bathroom had no trash bags at all, not even one in the van. On the upside, I really appreciate the Keurig coffee maker and fully equipped kitchen, plenty of towels, and extra pillows.

Picture Book View is Perfection

Clean, modern furniture, great appliances, roomy bedroom and closets, well equipped kitchen. Owner thought of everything. Best: very close to the beautiful “uncrowded” beach. Loved it there

Nice Condo. Perfect location

Latitude 29 is no stranger to us. We have stayed here annually for the past 20 years but not in the last 8 years. We have recommended it to family and friends as well over the years, We have always loved this location and Latitude 29. Unit 23 gave us a perfect get away. The owner was very generous with starter amenities. Latitude 29 is getting to be an older property but this owner has done a nice job in keeping it up. The kitchen is nicely stocked with utensils, dinner ware and cooking pans. The floors are hardwood rather than carpet and this was nice. The only reason for a 4 star rather than 5 was the condition of the master bathtub. It was not cleaned (I have attached a picture but not sure if it will attach). We quickly discovered the reason was it does not drain properly. Even a quick shower will take 4 plus hours to drain minimal water thereby leaving all the soap scum and dirt residue in the bottom of the tub. While I know this may not be the owners fault and we could have called Vacasa with the problem we felt that Vacasa had to know this was a problem because in cleaning it, any water that runs in the tub would not have drained for several hours. It would seem they chose not to address it in the 6 hour cleaning span they had and I did not want to have to be available for them to fix it on my time. I did call then Sunday before check out and made them aware of the issue and asked them to please have it properly working for the next family. I’m saying this because the problem was not with the owner but the cleaning company. Bottom line however your property is only as good as the cleaning company representing you. I will say that Vacasa booking was easy and were very good at keeping me informed along the way. They did check on us the day we arrived but we had not had a chance to use this tub/shower at that point. We do not hesitate to recommend this property and will certainly stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Beach getaway

Beautiful condo with great views of the ocean. Everything you need for a relaxing getaway to the beach. We stayed for four nights over the Fourth of July holiday weekend. The beaches were busy but not packed and social distancing was easily achieved. The condo was comfortable and and had everything on hand to cook , relax and enjoy the beautiful setting. It is nicely furnished and would be very comfortable for the six people it can sleep. It was great just for the two of us. We enjoyed the view from the covered balcony during the rainy periods and had a truly relaxing time.

Needs cleaning

The location was great but upon arrival we noticed that it was not very clean. Stains all over furniture both inside and out. All of which could be fixed with a little elbow grease. Very disappointing considering the amount we paid. At this point, I would not stay here again.
