Amazing relaxing setting that included quiet afternoons by the pool and incredible fun ping pong tournament in the evenings. Our host was readily accessible should we need anything.

The home is cozy but required some maintenance (i.e. leaky water valve behind refrigerator that left puddles in the kitchen two of the three days we were there, broken pool skimmer, plaster coming off of pool, obvious wear and tear of property). Unfortunately, we had a rough start to our stay with an incorrect code for the front door, a large puddle of water in the kitchen floor, an unkempt house (cleaning team had not showed up before our stay-we did not show up until after 4:30 on check in day), no linens on the beds (I found extra sheets and made up our own bed, washed the comforter for our bed, and waited on the cleaning team to manage the other bedrooms), no towels in the bathrooms (the towels were in the washing machine so I washed our own towels), and dirt/crumbs all over the home. We reached out to the owners, who were very nice and responsive-they provided timely responses with any inquiries before and during our stay. They had the cleaning team come out that evening to clean the home and set up the bathrooms/bedrooms for us, which was nice, but it had been a long, exhausting day for us and all we wanted to do was relax when we arrived at the home. The house itself is somewhat secluded but close enough to shopping/dining/entertainment. The house is small but was perfect for two families getting together over a weekend. While we appreciated the responsiveness of the owners, our overall stay was disappointing.

It was peaceful and we had everything we needed. The pool was amazing, and our time spent there was wonderful. We saw some deer and felt completely safe nestled among the trees.

Great location

We have enjoyed each of our summer stays at casa mora. The location is great just outside of Austin, quiet, peaceful and close enough for an easy drive into town. The pool is a plus for the hot summer days.

Nice Place Overall

Had issues with the fridge but owner was responsive and able to fix it during our stay. The property is a little bit older but is clean and functioning.

Quiet spot close to the city

This is our second stay and it was just as wonderful! The pool is perfect and the backyard is so quiet. It’s only 10 minutes to several food choices, and 20-30 minutes into Austin for other things to do.

Wedding/family reunion

My husband, myself & 2 teen daughters enjoyed our stay. The house was so cozy & quaint. We all enjoyed sitting & relaxing near the pool. Saw all kids of birds. Very private. Close to the wedding venue, wineries, restaurants & my sister’s home. Place was furnished beautifully. We loved our stay!

Casa mora was great

Nice relaxing 3 days with our daughter and her two kids. The house is comfortable and has everything we needed. Didn’t use the pool but it looked nice. Area is quiet and stores and services were about 10-15 mins from the house. We would stay in this place again

Great location for weddings at the Addison Grove.

We picked this property for it's location. We were going to a wedding at the Addison Grove. It was 5 minutes away. Also it's close to Dripping Springs - cute town with lots of breweries and close to Deep Eddy Vodka distillery or something totally different an Olive Co. where you can taste and tour how to make olive oil. However it's a long ways from the city of Austin if that's where you want to hang out; however we did not so it was great for us. Overall it fit exactly what we wanted.

Lovely Property

Beautiful stone home with a private pool. The house was just the right size for five of us and area attractions were easily accessible. The hosts left a delightful bottle of wine for us. The pool setting was both sunny and shady, and the outdoor eating area had a BBQ pit with a nicely shaded table. Would definitely return.

Anniversary Trip

This is our 6th stay at Casa Mora. We always enjoy the peace and quiet of the area and enjoy spending time in the pool. Morrie and Rachel are great hosts and always respond to any needs quickly. We intend to keep making this our destination for our anniversary trip and are already looking forward to next year!

Nice And Relaxing

We had a great time and enjoyed staying here for the week. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool a few times a day and some ping pong. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you may need which was very nice and the beds/furniture was comfortable. Wifi worked great with no issues (work vacation) for me. Fredericksburg was only an hour away and were able to do a bit of shopping and stock up on peaches and Texas olive oil & vinegars. Kids had a good time at the Art Garage also which was 1 light east on Hwy 290. Schlitterbahn New Braunfels was only about an hour away also and made for a really nice scenic drive. Overall great place and location for what we were planning.

Exactly what we wanted!

Our family wanted a nice escape to the hill country, and this place delivered! Its setting is beautiful, the deer, the animals, the pool, the woods! We loved everything, it felt like home away from home and the kids loved the pool! It was close to so many places to hike, shop, eat or swim! A perfect place to enjoy both Austin and the Texas Hill Country!

Summer River Trip

This was our first time to this gorgeous home. The house is easy to find, close to an HEB as well as other local breweries and wineries. We were 50 minutes from our float place of choice. The house has great character, and was clean, well equipped and comfortable. The pool in the backyard is fabulous, just bring some non glass cups for poolside. There is also a game room, which we didn't find time to explore! The host was very responsive when we reached out, and we already look forward to returning next year!
