Te invitamos a ser uno de los primeros en experimentar esta casa de huéspedes excepcionalmente única. Este granero único, diseñado a medida se siente como si estuviera en el medio de la nada, ¡pero en realidad está en el centro de todo Wine Country!

Relájese en el entorno más hermoso y aislado que el Condado de Sonoma tiene para ofrecer. Vistas a la cima de la colina, senderos para caminar justo al lado de la propiedad y bodegas tan cerca que hay justo al otro lado de la carretera de acceso a la propiedad.

La casa cuenta con 2 dormitorios, 2 baños y un altillo que contiene una cama king y una cama queen. Tome el aire fresco del campo en una de las dos duchas privadas al aire libre.

The host was very communicative, friendly and helpful. The Barn was beautiful and comfortable. The outdoor kitchen was the best part. We spent all day cooking and hanging out at the pool catching up with friends. We will hopefully return in the future. An amazing place and stay. Thank you.

The property was as advertised: beautiful, pristine, and perfect to accomodate our family. The kids enjoyed the basketball court and pool each day, adults enjoyed the hot tub each night, and between the kitchen in the barn and the incredible outdoor kitchen/BBQ, we were able to prepare ourselves wonderful meals and enjoy outdoor dining. The hosts were amazing. Friendly, welcoming, and helpful, but also gave us complete privacy. The property is expansive and roaming it each day to see the pigs, goat, chickens, or enjoy the landscape/views was an added bonus. Plus, you're so close to so many incredible vineyards that a day trip to them was super convenient.

The perfect escape!

Our stay here was perfect. The barn was so spacious but still felt cozy and had everything we needed. And the pool area was the perfect summer retreat. We'll definitely be back.

Quiet retreat

We found this place after another cancelled on us at the last minute. I think we lucked out. We were able to sit and relax and just enjoy the scenery. We also had good interactions with the owners and caretaker - a wine tasting then a ride up to the sunset overlook. The fresh eggs were a nice touch.

5-star oasis

Our stay at the barn was fabulous! Our trip included three very young kids ages 1-7. The property and grounds are like a 5-star resort and are very accessible and kid friendly. The landscaping and pool is immaculate and swoon worthy. The outdoor kitchen is a fabulous amenity and the house is modern and well-kept. It could maybe use one really thorough cleaning, but I have super high standards :) The beds are very comfortable and so are the couches. The drive to the property can feel daunting at first, but you get used to it. I wouldn’t plan to come and go a lot. This is a house where you gather your groceries and you plan to stay for a while because it does take some time to exit the property and get in to town. The farm animals were really fun for our kids to engage with. Antoinette was lovely and a great host, and she even brought us farm fresh eggs which were so delicious! A few more kids toys, high chair or pack n play (the one there is broken) would be a super nice touch and maybe a few more spices for the kitchen. I would definitely recommend this property and stay again!

Memorable

What an amazing property in a secluded area. It was wonderful to have access to doing activities and having a quiet place to return to. My husband and I have stayed here alone and decided to bring our kids. I do believe that I won’t be able to book property without Farm animals and amazing dogs that come with it. Needless to say, it was a very memorable stay. My kids will be talking about it for months. Antoinette and Stephanie were knowledgeable and helpful. I will recommend this place to anyone!

Thanksgiving Stay

We had a wonderful stay. Molly provided us with all the answers and the house was a perfect location for a remote Thanksgiving holiday for a family. Beds were super comfy and the kitchen well equipped. We loved the hot tub and needed the wonderful fire.

Excellent Mountain Property

The property was beautiful…..the pictures don’t do it justice. The owners were extremely hospitable and kind. Excellent stay in wine country!!! Will definitely be back again.

Fantastic property!! The best family getaway!

This property is absolutely fantastic and clean!! I cannot speak highly enough of the owners, Stephanie and Kurt and of this immaculate, and amazingly built property. We had a little family reunion, all three generations had a wonderful time. Our little kids 3 and 5 years old, had a blast. Every morning, they would run around the property, go visit the chicken coop and bring back fresh eggs and harvest some fresh tomatoes and plum from the garden to make breakfast. They also loved running around the property playing with Lola, the Golden retriever. Stephanie, the owner was such a joy to talk to and was very helpful She gave us wonderful recommendations and surprised us with a wine tasting in the cave on the property and a little adventure for our kids. we would definitely come back and highly recommend this barn.

Peaceful setting

Had a wonderful stay in the barn! Setting is beautiful and peaceful. Amenities are great. A bit hard to find the first time as the road is not marked. The the wifi is a bit sketchy. Most things are mostly 15-25 minutes away.

Fantastic Property

Unique property in beautiful location. Everything was exceptionally maintained. Property is remote - 15 minutes to Santa Rosa / 30 minutes to St. Helena. Owner very responsive to questions as it relates to the "how to questions" about the home. Perfect vacation with my family.

Great Place!

We had a fabulous time staying here! It’s a little off the beaten path but still pretty close to stores, restaurants & wineries. We were secluded from neighbors & others at this location. All the listed amenities were available & worked perfectly.

Relaxing in style

We had a great time at this property. The pool and outdoor areas were great. Some days we never left the house and never got bored. The location is perfect. Tucked away in the hills between Santa Rosa and St. Helena but just a few minutes away from groceries, restaurants, etc. in Santa Rosa. Catalina cooked for us twice and each time was exceptional. This is a must if you are staying here. Thanks for the wonderful vacation experience. We’ll be back soon!

Perfect Wine Country Retreat

Excellent property near world class wineries

This is a fantastic property which is centrally located for wine tastings in Sonoma/Napa. The VRBO is very clean with great amenities like a pool and hiking trails (for a break from wine tastings). Highly recommended!

Peaceful oasis

If you’re looking for a laid back, peaceful, and relaxing vacation - this is a great place to stay. The house and the grounds are immaculate. The outdoor kitchen was amazing. The house is very remote so this is a good place to stay if you just want to chill, enjoy the outdoors and have fun family time. I recommend planning meals ahead of time if you like to cook (definitely make use of the outdoor kitchen). Plan to drive 10-15 min if you decide to dine out at a restaurant. There’s not a lot of choices for good restaurants close by so cooking your own meals is the way to go. If you plan to use pots or pans, I recommend bringing your own. If you’d like to go wine tasting, I recommend hiring a car to truly enjoy wine tasting. There is one winery close by that does tasting by appointments. It’s expensive but worth it! (Fisher winery is very to the property). The owner of the property Curt, was very helpful and hospitable. Catalina whom you can order oaxacan meals from in advance is an awesome cook. We really enjoyed ourselves and would definitely go back next time we are in need of some R&R!

Amazing!

Visited with a group of 7 women and we had an amazing time! The property is beautiful and cozy and had everything we needed. The beds were so comfortable, the kitchen was stocked for cooking, the hot tub was great, so much to love about this place! There are even chickens and goats and PIGS! We took a short hike up to the top of their property and saw a beautiful sunset, the area is just stunning! We were about 45 mins from Napa, Sanoma, Healdsburg, all of the major places which was great. We can't wait to come back for another girls weekend!

Unbelievable property!

Absolutely cannot speak highly enough of this property or the owners. We were blown away by how beautiful and well maintained it was. And the owners went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even doing a private wine tasting for us in their wine cave!

Wonderful Weekend at the Upscale Barn in Santa Rosa

We had a wonderful time. The property is remote, quiet, clean and spacious. We had 8 people in the house and had more than enough room. We unfortunately didn't get to use all the amenities that were available (pool, hot tub, outdoor cooking) due to our wine tasting schedule. We could have used 1 more day to just enjoy the property. Even though the barn is behind the owners house, we still had plenty of privacy. It was very enjoyable and we hope to come back.

The Farber family moved here in June 2012. They built this upscale barn as a guest house on their 25 acre property. The barn was built to be a property that harmonizes with the local wine country environment. Their three sons lived in the barn (with non-stop visitors) while going through high school. The youngest went off to college in the Fall of 2018 and they have been renting their guest house as a vacation rental ever since.
