Wonderful Fourth of 2025

My family and I had a wonderful stay. We brought more than what was needed. Ended up leaving extra items in rental vehicle. Thank you so much. This was my first vacation since my son and wife had their children where my son and wife came along. Normally it’s just the grandkids. There was more than enough room for us All. Thank you so much for a beautiful condo. And yes the ocean view is very much a plus. Hope to be back!

The unit itself was really good. The only problems we had were I had to keep resetting the wifi, none of the tv's would change channels or open the apps with the remotes. These should be updated. The dryer took forever to dry and the washer didn't spin out the water good.

This property is a great location. It was clean and well supplied. The beach was a short walk and surrounding neighborhood was great. Plenty of activities and great places to eat. We will be back!

Waterpointe II

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Waterpointe II in Windy Hills. The view was amazing from the balcony. The condo was comfortable. The heated pool and hot tub were a great welcome after the beach. The beach was clean and not crowded. There were lots of restaurants near by along with a food lion and Walmart. Great area for the perfect stay!! We will definitely be back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our month-long rental! This lovely and relaxed section of North Myrtle Beach has all the beauty but none of the 'crazy'. Close to good entertainment and food. The condo has a Great indoor/outdoor pool and deck, community room that really brings people together. Beach access is super. The unit itself is very comfortable and pleasant, with a fully stocked kitchen and appliances. The balcony has a great view of the beach and is a nice shelter from the wind. Just a couple of suggestions, though. The master bedroom is the only room without a ceiling fan and it really needs one, especially during times like our stay, where neither A/C nor heat really kick on and so there's no air circulation in that room. Also, the master's sliding door is very much in need of either new weatherstripping or complete replacement. While the second and third bedrooms are nicely decorated, updated matresses might be a good idea. Again, we really enjoyed our stay, and these suggestions are just an effort to help the owners with future improvement plans. Thank you!

Property Management Good but Unit was poor

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First the rental company was fine. I reported numerous issues, they were responsive and repaired what they could even during the weekend. Now the unit. I would NEVER stay in this unit again without lots of work. Unit was very musty smelling due to the carpet. Did not help that the air was off when we checked in (90 degrees). We reported most of the items we found during the stay and a few on checkout. The person we talked to at the front desk on check out did not seem to care. She did hand us a card to contact the rental manager. Kitchen ice maker not working, reported it and it was fixed the next day. Cabinets were full of stuff, no room to store any food. Had to rearrange them just to get food off the counter. Water heater leaking, tray has standing water. Dishwasher lower tray does not fit and is missing wheel, difficult to use.Master bedroom No ceiling fan, room faces beach and can get warm.Curtain rods & wall trim coming loose from wall. Obvious issue, should have been repaired prior to renting. They were going to repair once we left per our request. Closet full of stuff, very little storage available. If hanging clothes, can't shut closet door. Master bathroom Bath Mold in tub, had to be cleaned prior to using it. Mildew/mold around vent, ceiling paint peeling badly. Second bedroom Nice size room but again closet full of stuff, almost unusable. Third bedroom Very small, no closet, no storage BathroomsNo counter spaceExterior Door to Unit would not lock without almost slamming it. Patio door to master bedroom would not lockPatio screen door to living room would not slide ComplexWe did like the pool area but the outdoor pool is small for the complex and there is no shade around pool. The unit was spacious enough to be comfortable for our family of four. The interior was clean and well decorated. Good Family Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Water Pointe II, 405 was a good condo in the perfect location for a less commercialize area. The beach, outdoor and indoor pool and just the right view from the balcony make kids and adults happy. The furnishings are good and the kitchen has what you need to prepare meals in. I called with a few requests for hair dryer, iron and another set of towels and they took care of it. We weren’t pleased with the TV nor Wi-Fi service but that’s minor. The remote for one tv was corroded and we never got it resolved fully even though maintenance came while we were out and left instructions. We would rent again and we loved the area. Lots of things to do and places to eat and shop close by.

Sisters Retreat

Reviewer Comments: North Beach Realty got my condo mixed up and gave me a 1 room efficiency /studio apartment instead of the 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit I asked for. The unit number was 1210 but I had asked for 1012. When I called them (after 5 PM) they were closed so I had to wait while an agent was found. She was rude and not very helpful, never acknowledging that they had made the mistake. I had 4 women family members with me. Instead of giving me something up to par with what I originally rented she went down on the quality because she said that was all they had for the price I paid. By the way, when I reserved the unit I questioned the price and the agent said I was getting a discount. The unit I had was not at all what I had tried to reserve. It was late and the agent did not want to mess with me. We got a 3 bedroom condo but the third bedroom wasn’t much more than a closet with a bed in it. It was in an older building and was rundown. Ruined our vacation.
