The room was fantastic!! Everything was clean and well organized. Having extra soap and simple necessities saved us so much work and time. The pool was clean and peaceful. The overall building was quiet by 9pm and easy to enter and leave while still feeling safe. Our hosts were extremely helpful and provided clear instructions and amazing restaurant and activity recommendations! The view of the lake right off the balcony with a gorgeous sunset sealed the deal!!! Absolutely recommend staying here.

This is a clean place in a great location to enjoy Sandusky. We were there for a 70.3 event and the location could not have been better for that too. The entire building is well maintained too. Owners were easy to communicate with and made it easy to get into the building and the condo.

Beautiful views, excellent hosts

My husband and I came to Lake Erie to celebrate our anniversary, and we couldn't be happier with our choice. David and Christine were excellent communicators, their place was beautiful (stocked with all the necessities and several thoughtful extra touches), and their kindness was more than we expected. In fact, they even left us an anniversary card.We will be visiting Lake Erie again, and if available, we will stay here again. Highly recommend.

Birthday weekend

My husband and I spent a fun filled weekend in Sandusky for his birthday. This was such a wonderful stay! The condo was extremely clean and spacious with a beautiful waterfront view, and the location was perfect! The communication from the hosts was top notch! I would definitely recommend this for your next stay! We will definitely be back!

Relaxing and Beautiful weekend

Everything in the condo was set up for us when we got there! We were impressed with the cleanliness and the set up of the condo. The owners have thought of everything and are super helpful! We did not have any questions or needs. The sunset so beautiful in the condo. This is a wonderful get away! Would like to go back soon!

Property was very nice and met are expectation. Great view and was very quiet and secure. We will recommend and stay here again. The only recommendation we can give is there is no place to set your luggage. In the bedroom there is a bed and nightstand. No where to put your luggage other than in the floor. .

Sandusky peaceful Lake Retreat

We were returning to our hometown for our 50th SHS class reunion. This place was an awesome choice and created a retreat like atmosphere. The location was perfect to go to all the great venues down on the waterfront. The condo was perfect for us as we enjoyed the view of the lake. Everything we needed was in the space and both beds slept very comfortably. Appreciated the coffee and the extra toiletries provided. Will definitely book this condo again! The hosts were so well informed as to opportunities in that area and made entry and checkout easy breezy!

We had a wonderful 4 nights at this property! It was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities needed for our stay. The owners were very friendly and took the time to check in on us via email. We took advantage of the pool and sat on our balcony in the evening. It was great to have a parking space and walk everywhere in the downtown area. There were excellent dining options nearby, many of which were suggested by our hosts. We would definitely stay again if we return to the area.

The Chesapeake Lofts is a truly unique vacation location. We believe we have created personal touches that will make you glad you stayed with us. This property is conveniently located near some of the best attractions on Lake Erie: Put-in-Bay, Kelley's Island, Pelee Island, Middle Bass Island, and Cedar Point. We are proud to be within walking distance of some of the best restaurants and bars in the area. Furthermore, this property offers amenities unlike any others. We have a great pool, full-stocked fitness center, transient marina next door and ferries to and from our favorite destinations!

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

We fell in love with this property when the notion of turning this historic building into condos first surfaced. The Chesapeake Lofts was built in a former paper factory, in fact, it was the company that invented corrugated cardboard boxes! We love the open, industrial feel of the condo, paired with the historical richness of the brick architecture. The views are absolutely breathtaking over Sandusky Bay, and catching a glimpse of a freighter as it arrives and departs the Sandusky coal docks is truly remarkable! We hope you enjoy this one-of-a-kind unit as much as we do!
