We had an excellent stay at this lovely property. Our hosts were incredibly kind, responsive, and accommodating. The house itself is well laid out and comfortably furnished. It has all sorts of delightful amenities and kid-friendly additions, like the garage full of games, activities, and beach, pool, and river gear. The house is an easy walk to the beach in the daytime, and we had many a lovely sunset while walking down towards the river. Our hosts were flexible with our timing and quick to respond and take care of any issues that arose during our stay. All in all, a great property!

Wonderful Getaway

The owners (Erik & Dawn) were very friendly and easy to work with. The house was absolutely beautiful, and it was equipped with everything we needed and more. We were very pleased with our vacation and would recommend this house.

Ormond Beach House

We rented this beautiful home for a trip with our adult children and it could not have been more perfect. The house was extremely comfortable and clean. The pool was gorgeous and we loved the fact that it was screened in, with plenty of seating around. Also, the owners were very responsive and easy to work with. You will not be disappointed in this property!

Slice of paradise!

We've come to Florida 5 years in a row, and this is, hands down, our favorite out of the 5 VRBO's we've stayed at. We have higher standards regarding cleanliness, location and privacy, and this place is exceptional, plus it was well-stocked with anything you might need! Walk-in ready....all you might need are a few groceries! The hosts were exceptional! Instant replies to any questions we had, and also concern, as a hurricane was heading our way! We don't have to think twice about staying here during our next visit! We will be back!

Family Vacation

We absolutely loved our trip! The house is very clean. Extremely well appointed with just about anything you would want or need. They do some of the shopping for you. The snacks were a very nice touch and totally unexpected. The house is very close to the beach and restaurants (love Lagerheads!). Large pool and plenty of games and activities to keep everyone happy. Erik went above and beyond in every aspect of our stay. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home!

Fantastic location! Beautiful home!

The property was located close to the beach and bay area for beautiful sunsets. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood yet close to great restaurants and activities in town. The home was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the home was nicely appointed with a modern kitchen and bathrooms. The pool was clean and enjoyed the patio area. Highly recommend staying here and the hosts were so responsive and nice!

Outstanding

Wonderfully appointed home-away-from-home for a one month stay in Jan/Feb. The pictures are accurate. We were greeted with a very generous welcome basket. Everything you need for a comfortable stay was provided for. A basket of beach towels, basket of pool towels, and plenty of bath towels and linens. Tons of pool and beach toys, games, books. Kayak, paddleboard, bikes, beach chairs etc provided. Walk to beach is a pleasant 5-10 minutes, and the little community park (3 minute walk) on the intercoastal was an unexpected treat. This park has plenty of chairs and tables to enjoy viewing boats travelling the intercoastal, wildlife, and beautiful sunsets. Beds and furniture very comfortable. Plenty of soaps, shampoo, cleaning supplies (including laundry detergent, softener, dishwasher soap, garbage bags, etc). A huge variety of spices and cooking items (oils, spices, foil, plastic wrap). Nice cookware. We really enjoyed the heated pool even on cooler days, and the gas firepit on cool nights. Ping-pong was fun. Location was ideal, in a quiet neighborhood but not too far from Ormond, Flagler Beach, and Daytona. Plenty of restaurants and stores within close driving distance. We highly recommend Lagerheads for grouper, pet-friendly patio for lunch or dinner, with live entertainment most evenings. Sunrise Diner for sandwiches, pizza or breakfast, and they have fast delivery as well. Pet-friendly beaches a short drive. Highly recommend!

A home away from home: but by the beach:)

Erik and Dawn were wonderful hosts and made us feel most welcome. The house was beautifully clean and comfortable. The property has excellent amenities and was very much as advertised with something for everyone, from just relaxing by the pool to biking along the riverside or body surfing in the ocean.

Perfect Location with everything we needed

This home was perfectly suited for our family of 6. The home was clean, well furnished, and had everything we needed for a perfect beach vacation. We appreciated the beach chairs, boogie boards, pool floats, inflatable kayak, and fishing equipment. It was really nice that we didn't have to worry about packing all of that stuff. The home has a great location walking distance to the beach in one direction and the river in the other direction. The beach was beautiful and most days there were no more than 3 or 4 other families on the beach. We saw dolphins, manatee, and a sea turtle all swimming near the shore at one point or another during our stay. When we weren't at the beach, we were usually swimming in the pool and enjoying the huge outdoor area in the back yard. Huge thanks to Erik and Dawn. They were great at communicating with us and made the whole process very smooth and seamless. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in the area.

Best ever!

We’ve been coming to Ormond, FL for the past several years and this is by far the best house we’ve stayed at. The house was as described. We felt at home from the moment we walked in. Close walk to the beach and close to groceries, dining and shopping. We will definitely return to this home. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!

EXCEPTIONAL!!

What an amazing property! We rent a lot on VRBO and this property was exactly as described. The "Beverly" was clean, the beds were very comfortable and the location was fantastic... A very quick walk to the beach! This home had it all. There was a welcome basket with little treats which is always a nice touch. We needed nothing but a quick trip to the grocery store. Neighbors are very nice and friendly. I highly recommend this home and will stay here again. Thank you Erik and Dawn for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home. We'll bring the kids next time. Just What We Needed

This place had it all! Comfy beds, all the amenities of home and close proximity to just about anything you wish to do! Just minutes from Ormond Beach! My boys learned to "boogie board" in the amazing waves! Then after to a relaxing day at the beach, we took a relaxing swim in the pool, played board games (while creating new rules for classics such as Candy Land and Chutes & Ladders). Then off to Daytona Beach to soak in yet more Vitamin Sea, some mini golf and yummy food. If that wasn't enough, Erik made us aware of a rocket launch which was amazing! Just being able to spend time with family and enjoy some relaxing beach time is priceless! One of our best vacations so far!

Amazing Home

The home is beautiful, cozy, comfy beds and seating, great bedding, well stocked kitchen, lots of spaces indoors and out to spread out if you're with others. Lots of things to do in the area. The home is between the ocean and river, very short walks to both. Plenty of beach gear to use. We had cooler weather during our mid March stay but the warm pool temp helped immensely in still enjoying the pool. Erik was very responsive to all our needs. Would highly recommend this home.

Excellent home away from home!

Everything about our stay was perfect. We came in on Valentine’s Day and there were balloons, chocolates, cake and more waiting for us. The house was spotless and the pool was heated to a wonderful 90 degrees. The location is great with a 2 block walk to the beach. Quiet neighborhood. Easily accessible to anything you needed. We will definitely seek this property out next time we are in town. Don’t pass this one up if it’s available!

Fantastic vacation property

Clean, convenient to stores and restaurants, situated midway between the Atlantic Ocean and the Halifax River (a two block walk to either). Very modern home, beautiful swimming pool, friendly neighborhood, perfect for relaxing. We did not have children or teens, but there were many, many fun things for kids to do provided by the hosts.

Thanksgiving at Ormond Shores Estates

We had a very enjoyable family Thanksgiving at Ormond Shores Estates November 22-29, 2022. The 3 bedroom home was perfect for our family of 5 adults, including a handicapped person, to relax, cook and enjoy the holiday. Eric and Dawn, our hosts, made us feel immediately welcome with a lovely and thoughtful gift basket with treats, fruit and breakfast items upon our arrival, which was very much appreciated. They were always available to answer questions in a timely manner and even went out of their way to have a coffee grinder for our son, a coffee aficionado. The well-appointed kitchen was a joy as we 3 cooks prepared our holiday feast, with enough pots and pans, dishes and utensils. We lacked for nothing, and were pleased and surprised to find even a gravy boat! The weather cooperated and we were happy to enjoy the heated pool in between watching the opening rounds of the 2022 World Cup. Those of us not fans of the beautiful game were happy to relax and read some books from the house library. The two separate living areas were ideal for our family of diverse interests. We also had fun riding our bikes through the neighborhood, walking to the beach and playing ping pong. Overall, a very positive experience for all and we would highly recommend this vacation home within walking distance to the beach.

Beautiful property

Erik and Dawn are great to rent from. This property is everything that you need to have a perfect vacation. We definitely will be back and will also refer friends and family to stay in there beautiful house. The property is just a shirt walk from the beach ⛱️ and or to the river. They left us a gift basket and that was just so sweet. Perfect place to stay with awesome home owners.

Erik and I bought our retirement home in 2019. Until we retire several years from now, we will continue to enjoy traveling whenever we can with our children. We have four children that range from age 7 to 19.
Three very active boys and our youngest child is our little girl. We enjoy family times together and we look to find excitement wherever and whenever we can. We travel from Massachusetts to Florida about 3 times a year if we are lucky enough. The winter months are difficult for us as we experience freezing temperatures and snow and can only seem to only think about our home in Florida.

We chose this property particularly because it has such a lovely interior design as well as the very spacious pool deck. We continue to ponder what else we can add to make our home even more appealing than it already is.
