The location was peaceful and quiet with beautiful views of the ocean. We had everything we needed and the owners responded quickly to our questions/requests. Summerside was about a 10 minute drive away with shopping and restaurants. A clean and comfortable home to spend some time on PEI

Fantastic cottage in a gorgeous setting! It was our first trip to PEI and we loved spending our time here. Easy access to other parts of the island if for some reason sitting in peace on the beautiful deck and looking at the beautiful ocean isn’t doin’ it for you!

This cottage was a perfect location for our family getaway. It was great as ‘home base’ as we set off on adventures around the island but our favourite pastime during our stay was exploring the beach each day during low tide - beautiful views, stunning sunsets and everything we could possibly need provided at the cottage. We would definitely return to this location!

Lovely spot to explore

Stayed for 1 week. A great location to base your trip and explore the island. The cottage was equipped with everything we neede. The beach front was great for little ones. We would definitely like to come back!

The setting is fabulous. Loved the beach and how the low tide goes out so far. The view from the deck and inside the house are beautiful! The kitchen was well equipped and the living room seating was comfortable for us 6 adults. The only reason I did not give a full 5 stars are the 2 downstair bedrooms had squeaky beds. The upstairs bed was a little soft for us. I would definitely consider staying at this property again.

The location is fantastic. We were able to enjoy beautiful sunsets. We also enjoyed visits from the local bald eagle and great blue herons. Don’t forget to use bug spray when heading out in your vehicle. They barely exist on the ocean front side. If you’re a fan of the sky, the views from the back deck are stunning. Six of us stayed here, and the home was large enough that we were never tripping over one another. The hosts have thought of everything. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked, with plenty of towels; both bath and beach. This felt like a home away from home, and we hope to return soon

Relaxing oceanfront

This lovely cottage was in a great location, inviting and clean. We loved exploring the tides right from the deck. Owners are easily contacted and check in was very smooth. We had a wonderful time exploring and relaxing at the cottage, as well.

Beautiful location

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was perfect for kids and we went into the ocean multiple times a day. The house lay out was great for kids and relaxing. The only reason I didn’t put a 5/5 for our stay is because a few things in the house were broken and low stock/missing some house essentials. We would definitely rent again!

Location! Location! Location!

A beautiful setting on the shores of Northumberland Strait! Fabulous sunsets , sunrises , and a full moon shimmering over the water. The home is in wonderful condition & perfectly set up for a memorable family vacation. Sitting on the patio viewing the water ....so relaxing after a day on the golf course. Memories to last !

Amazing beachfront stay

We had a great time at Brian & Jacqui’s place. This was our first visit to PEI - the place is perfect for families. At low tide, you can walk out for miles. Our kids loved digging for clams & oysters and finding crabs & shells. The sunset at night is also fantastic. Strongly recommend bringing bug spray as the front of the house can be buggy but we were able to relax on the deck/beach without issue.

amazing PEI vacation

What an amazing property!!! Right on the ocean. We took long walks down the coast when the tide was out, and went swimming every night when the tide was in. Such a great property: my parents (who are seniors) came with us, and both couples felt like we had our own space. AC unit in the upstairs bedroom is very appreciated (we turned on the AC in the afternoon, but the house was nice and cool in the evening without the AC). Summerside is a close drive away, and it was easy to drive to other sites of interest!

Million dollar view.

The view was breathtaking and the low tides allowed us to walk way out and bring back razor clams for dinner. The cottage had a great floor plan but a bit tired. Some mattresses and two living room chairs need to be replaced. Kitchen is exceptionally well equipped. Mosquito repellent is an absolute must. Communication with owner was easy and problem free. Idyllic setting with great privacy and close to everything.

Spacious cottage with room for kid space & adult space. Can’t beat the location - 10 min to Summerside, beautiful drive to Cavendish, Rustico & west coast. Down quiet red dirt road, opening up to stunning property with the cottage on the beach. A few cottages set back behind, making it feel very private, yet not isolated. Shore line is amazing for kids, and when tide goes there are kilometres of sand for kids to play on. Great kite flying & breezes! Afternoons spent bbq on huge deck. Beautiful view Confederation Bridge too! Don’t forget to head east along shoreline for a beautiful & peaceful walk as kids search for shells & crabs! Amazing property!

Relaxing

The cottage was well equipped and as described. The access to the beach is within 50’ of the deck. At high tide the water depth is 3-4’ so you will need to wade out a fair way to get into deeper water. At low tide you can walk for miles, do a little clam digging or just enjoy the serenity and beauty of your surroundings. Beds are comfortable but if you are use to a king it’s a bit cramped. Our host Brian was outstanding and very responsive; the bbq crapped out and was replaced the next day with a new one.We enjoyed our stay and would certainly return.

Family Trip PEI 23

This property was just as described and even nicer than the pictures. Beautiful location right on the waters edge. Very close to amenities. We had our four children with us from age 11 to 17 and we had ample room and privacy for each of us when needed. The sunsets were beautiful. We had communications with the owners a couple days before arrival for the entry code and they checked in with us mid week and then we reached out on the day we left. Very responsive and little communication was needed as everything we needed met our expectations! We would definitely recommend and hope to return again. Thank you.

Wonderful Family Time In Miscouche

Our family of five ( four adults, one toddler )had a wonderful week in the Miscouche/Summerside area and the cottage met our needs very well. The chalet was very clean on entry .The main floor dining and living area had lots of room to enjoy games, puzzles and reading. The roomy kitchen was well stocked with all we needed. The bedroom layout was perfect for us as well. We really enjoyed the large deck and the sounds and sight of the ocean. We were very close to places to explore , enjoying the Confederation Trail for biking, the Summerside boardwalk for walking and the playground in Wellington. Viva La Crepe food truck, a short drive from the cottage ,was amazing as was the ice cream at Holman's and the coffee at Samuels in Summerside!! We enjoyed many enjoyable day trips within a sixty minute drive. Great location!

Amazing rental on the water

We loved this house! It’s literally right on the water. The beach has wonderful rocks and shells and low tide is spectacular! It’s also very close to Summerside which has some cute shops and restaurant and excellent coffee. The kitchen was well stocked with nice pots and pans and basic stuff for cooking. The bedrooms are nice, especially the first floor queen that has a slider onto the deck. The upper bedroom only has a partial wall to the ceiling but it’s a nice little suite with it’s own a/c unit. There are lots of ceiling fans so we didn’t use the a/c at all during our stay (beginning of July). The owners are very responsive! I couldn’t find the lockbox and they answered right away to help. It was right in front of me! This is a great house for a group! It’s a quirky, charming, quiet and calm place! It’s definitely a place to rejuvenate and relax. I’ll be back!
