Nuestro elegante y espacioso apartamento situado a 200 metros de las canchas de tenis y Lido al aire libre, y a pocos minutos a pie de los remontes y el spa termal es increíble para un grupo de 4 o familias pequeñas que desean explorar lo mejor en deportes al aire libre y estilo de vida que los Pirineos tienen para ofrecer.
Luton es una ciudad fantástica, con mucho que ofrecer en verano, invierno y en el medio, y al estar casi en la frontera española, también hay muchas oportunidades para excursiones de un día a España.
El apartamento en sí tiene un balcón orientado al sur con hermosas vistas a la montaña, una habitación doble con baño, un cómodo sofá cama en la sala de estar, una cocina excelente y un baño. También hay almacenamiento en la cueva del sótano donde los esquís, etc. se pueden mantener seguros.

Week in Luchon

Central location, close to bars/restaurants, shops, and river Parking was easy, street is busy and a little noisy with traffic during the day, at night it was quiet and peaceful. Nice views of the mountain from the balcony. Overall we really enjoyed our stay, had everything we needed.

This lovely apartment is nicely decorated and has everything you need. The only negative is the fact the bedroom can get a bit warm in the summer. We bought a fan which helped. Very clean and fresh. We enjoyed our stay!

Luchon ha sido un descubrimiento,nos ha encantado. Apartamento muy acogedor, luminoso,equipado con todo excepto microondas. Los radiadores calientan enseguida el apartamento. Edredones de sobra en caso de tener frío. Nick tiene multitud de películas,libros de montaña interesantes además de juegos de entretenimiento.La ubicación es ideal, cerca de todo, hay un parque precioso al lado,con árboles centenarios,donde pasear con el perro,en caso de viajar con el. Volveremos a Luchon y si fuera posible,en este apartamento.

Brilliant apartment

The apartment was in a great location, a short walk from the shops and cafes and next to a beautiful tree shaded park and sports area. Fantastic views of the mountains, freshest of air. The flat had everything we needed, we felt so comfortable there. A very beautiful part of the Pyrenees. The only downside was that the lido was closed for refurbishment (didn't look as if work was starting very soon) and the thermal spas were only open to doctor referrals as also being refurbished, so no swimming within walking distance. We did however find rivers and a lake to swim in not too far away. We will definitely return!

Appartement très sympathique

Oui certes il peut manquer du WiFi, un micro-onde et surtout surtout une rampe à l'escalier mais j'ai adoré ce lieu J'y ai passé quatre semaines formidables. Situation idéale, charme fou, literie bonne. Tout y est bien pensé Cosy. On s'y sent bien comme à la maison. J'y reviendrai Je recommandé chaudement.

Lovely apartment in a great location

We had a great time at this apartment. It is really well situated for the town and the ski lift. We used the 20% off vouchers for the ski hire and the hire shop, which was at the bottom of the ski lift, let us store our skis and boots there when not in use. The apartment was quiet, apart from the roadworks outside, which I think are due to finish in March. Although we were there in February we still sat out on the balcony and enjoyed the sunshine. The kitchen is well equipped and the town has lots of individual shops with friendly welcoming staff. We will be back.

Déception

L’appartement est bien situé mais nous ne sommes pas restés parce que bous avons trouvé des puces/punaises dans le lit à notre arrivée. Nous avons avisé le propriétaire qui, n'habitant pas dans la région, a dû envoyer sa personne de ménage pour constater. Cette personne a trouvé l’appartement « convenable » selon elle!!! Elle prétend que les bestioles sautant dans le lit venaient de la fenêtre! Cependant, il était hors de question de remettre les pieds dans l'appartement. Nous sommes soucieux lorsque nous passons d’appartement en appartement de ne pas traîner de bestioles avec nous. Nous voyageons beaucoup et louer un appartement est notre mode préféré. Nous n'avons jamais eu de problèmes avec homelidays (plus de 10 appartements) jusqu’à maintenant. Notre aventure avec Nick s est mal terminée car il n’a pas accepté de nous rembourser la totalité du séjour. Nous avons dû payer en double notre séjour à Bagnères-de-Luchon, ce qui a mis ombrage à notre voyage Pyrénées/Portugal. Nous retenons qu’il est toujours préférable de faire affaire avec un propriétaire sur place qui prend soin de son logement et qui peut aider plutôt qu’empocher simplement l’argent.

Malheureusement, la critique de Yvan ne contient que très peu de vérité. Yvan ne fournissait absolument aucune preuve d'insectes, d'insectes et certainement pas de puces. C'est la première fois qu'il mentionne les puces. J'ai loué cet appartement plus de 100 fois et NOBODY n'a jamais mentionné que c'était même impur, encore moins autre chose. Yvan a décidé de quitter l'appartement, sans fournir aucune preuve. Il a ensuite dit qu'il voulait récupérer l'intégralité de son loyer. Encore une fois j'affirme qu'il n'a fourni aucune preuve. Mon femme de ménage, à qui je fais confiance de façon implicite, a découvert qu'Yvan avait quitté l'appartement avec les déchets dans les toilettes, des tissus d'ameublement au sol et du linge de lit, dont j'ai des preuves photographiques. Par conséquent, si vous lisez l’avis de Yvan, veuillez le prendre en compte pour décider s’il faut ou non faire confiance à ses propos. Unfortunately there is very little truth in Yvan’s review. Yvan provided absolutely no proof of any bugs, insects and certainly not fleas. This is the first time that he has mentioned fleas. I have rented the alartment well over 100 times, and NOBODY has ever mentioned that is even unclean, let alone anything else. Yvan decided to leave the apartment, without providing any proof. He then said that he wanted his full rental payment back. Again I state, he has provided zero proof. My cleaner, who I trust implicitly, found that Yvan had left the apartment with waste in the toilet, soft furnishings on the floor and bed linen off the bed, all of which I have photographic proof of. Therefore anyone reading Yvan’s review, please consider this when deciding whether or not to trust his words.

Un méchant escalier

Appartement agréablement situé avec une place de parking libre devant la porte de l’immeuble.Il est propre et correspond à l’annonce.MAIS,pour y accéder il faut emprunter un escalier mal éclairé qui n’a pas de rampe,difficile pour des gens âgés encombrés de leur bagage. Ceci a déjà été signalé par d autres locataires.Comme le propriétaire vit en Angleterre il ne vient pas souvent ,sans doute ,assister aux assemblées générales,pour essayer d améliorer les problèmes de l’escalier. Sur la majorité des boîtes à lettres il y avait également des noms anglais.Ces propriétaires anglais ne semblaient pas être présents lorsque nous y étions. LaVMC ne marche pas le propriétaire le sait il?Dommage.

A comfortable and convenient apartment in Luchon

The communication and arrangements with the owner were without problem and the welcome document provided a lot of useful information. The apartment was as described, immaculately clean and conveniently situated in the town. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay.

Mooie ingericht appartement met een superligging, op 300m van de thermen en 400 m van de hoofdstraat maar toch rustig. Ook leuk dat je op het terrasje kon zitten bij goed weer.

Great apartment in a lovely location

My husband and I spent a few days in this lovely apartment in Luchon. First off, the communication by the owner is spectacular. He responded to all of my emails and inquiries very quickly. The apartment is very comfortable for two people and is in a great location within walking distance to everything you need. There was no wi-fi working in the apartment, but we were able to find some through our AT&T Passport app, so it wasn't too much of an inconvenience. I would definitely return to this lovely apartment and to Luchon if given the chance.

spacieux et chaleureux

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour avec nos deux enfants et notre petit chien. L'appartement et l'immeuble sont agréables, récemment rénovés et la décoration est au gout du jour. L'exposition est idéale et l'appartement est lumineux avec une belle hauteur sous plafond. Le canapé convertible est très simple à manœuvrer, les couchages sont confortables. La cuisine aménagée neuve est très fonctionnelle. A deux pas d'un jardin public, beaucoup de stationnement tout près, les thermes au bout de la rue. et les propriétaires sont très sympathiques !

Easy going family of 4 who love extreme sports, outdoor lifestyle and having fun exploring the mountains and waters during the day, then the restaurants and bars at night!

Fantastic balcony with great views of the mountains, and access to the most fantastic town in the Pyrenees.

The beautiful Alleé d'Etigny, with its restaurants, shops, Thermal Spa and Ski lift is 2 minutes away. The Lido, complete with Tennis Courts and mini Golf course is less than 200m in the opposite, and you can almost throw a stone into Spain from the balcony.

The Tour de France regularly visits the town also, a must see for any cycling enthusiast.

It's a perfect base from which to explore the mountains, Climb Aneto (the highest peak in the Pyrenees) or other Peaks, Ski, Cycle and venture to the surrounding cities inc. Toulouse (90 mins), Biarritz (2 hrs) and Bordeaux (3 hours), not to mention Bilbao (3 hours) and Barcelona (4 hours).

Skiing; 2 local resorts, Superbagneres and Peyragoudes, with a lift to Superbagneres from the town centre.
Cycling; opportunities to ride the multiple Tour de France cols that surround the town
Walking & Climbing; we've climbed Mt Aneto (we can suggest tour companies if you want to too), and you're in the very centre of the entire mountain range, if you like walking, you'll never want to leave!
Outdoor lifestyle; Winter sports a plenty, swimming, rafting, canyoning, Glider flights, Golf, mini Golf, Tennis (clay courts), the best Surfing in Europe in Biarritz!
Restaurants are seriously awesome, and Alleé d'Etigny is magical at night.
The Thermal Spa is not to be missed, excellent for health and wellness.
Wildlife is also abundant.
It's AWESOME!
