Bienvenido a Can Marcer de la Peña, una casa de campo del siglo XVII que una vez produjo 140,000 litros de vino al año. Se ha restaurado a un alto nivel, pero con cuidado para mantener gran parte de su carácter original.
Las habitaciones son grandes, muchas con sus vigas de madera originales y baldosas. En el exterior hay una gran terraza con barbacoa que recorre toda la villa con mesas y sillas de madera para el jardín. La piscina privada se puede calentar si se desea, tiene amplios escalones y está vallada, por lo que es ideal para los niños.

Estamos en una ubicación fantástica
- Ideal para paseos o pintorescos paseos en bicicleta en el Parque Natural del Garraf, frente.
- A solo 40 minutos en coche de la cultura y las tiendas de Barcelona,
- 30 minutos al aeropuerto,
- 10 minutos a las playas de Sitges, deportes acuáticos, vela, equitación y campos de golf,
- A 5 minutos de las pistas de tenis y a 20 minutos de las famosas regiones vinícolas de Penedes y Cava, donde se pueden realizar rutas enológicas por los famosos viñedos Freixenet, Cordoniu y Torres.
Se trata de un entorno tranquilo y rural con impresionantes vistas al Parque Natural del Garraf y al mar en Sitges, aunque a solo 5 minutos de tiendas, bares y restaurantes.

Amazing, unique property with lots of space to get together as a group or be on your own. Lots of bedrooms with renovated baths: a great pool, game room and gym; and two kitchens with anything you could need. Owners were accommodating and helpful. We had a wonderful time!

Stunning Villa

Our family and friends enjoyed a wonderful stay in this charming and spacious villa. The private outdoor areas, stunning views, proximity to local attractions, and the authentic Spanish charm, lush gardens, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, and the overall ambiance that makes it a perfect getaway for relaxation and exploring the region. The owners and the manager were exceptional - communication was clear and they were so helpful in every way. This was truly a once in a lifetime experience.

Magical week

We had a group of fourteen celebrating my 60th birthday. The Villa was perfect. The beds were very very comfortable. I have nice beds at my home but I wanted to bring the bed at the villa home with me. The kitchen also had everything a person could possibly want or need to make meals, including multiple refrigerators and a stash of alcohol (honor system) should you run out. I was also pleasantly surprised that someone came every morning to tidy the kitchen and the garden. We also used a recommended massage therapist and home chef that was recommended by the owner. I wish both had just moved in with us😂. Ginette makes very good recommendations. Peter met us on the first day and gave us the history of the house, a tour of the property and even showed several of us where to grocery shop and park in Sitges. When booking I didn’t realize you can not walk to Sitges so you will need a car. And the only tiny problem we had was figuring out keys and lights. There are lots of doors to the property and we wanted to make sure it was secure when we left so we had to figure out who had hers when we went different places and returned at different unknown times. Multiple keys for the outside gate would be nice. And, I finally figured out how to light up the garden properly on the last night. There are some solar lights that come on automatically but The other lighting has to be turned on. My recommendation is to figure it out with Peter help on day one. Overall it was a magical weeK

Amazing holiday had by all

Cannot compliment the owners enough for the attention they gave us from booking to check in and during our stay. The spaciousness of the villa is perfect for a big group. There is plenty of space to come together as one but the way the villa is set out means that there are different sections that mean you don’t always feel the size of the big group at all times. The two kitchens are super handy but we found the main kitchen was such a lovely central hub of activity. The outside area is as amazing as the pictures make it look. The views are stunning and there is such a lot of space for people to sit and either get sun or shade. The BBQ area is such a lot of fun and you can all mill around and watch the chefs and have a drink at the bar. We hired e-bikes and that was fun. The company dropped them off and collected. That was excellent. The owner put us in tough. I would not brave a manual in the heat! There is a lovely 5k track that loops into the valley around the villa. There are some really steep hills but you can run a lot of the way if you’re up for a morning run. Otherwise it’s a nice challenge walk. Sitges itself is wonderful and it really is a 10 minute drive in. Less to the closest Carabo (big supermarket). There is one restaurant about 10 minutes walk and some of us went there for drinks one day and for a meal another. Was lovely but you wouldn’t want to go there more than once or twice during a two week stay I don’t think. A car is necessary. Cabs from Sitges are reluctant to collect people from the villa because the dirt track leading up to the villa is bumpy. We ordered a few cabs from the restaurant as they have no probs going there. We were also dropped off by cabs no problem. We hired two cars between three families and on some occasions the driver did two drop offs into Sitges because it is so close. That worked well. Basically, the villa is so beautiful that there were days when we just didn’t want to leave! We were a group of 20 and we had the most amazing time. I would highly recommend this place.

Une villa magnifique et des hôtes charmants.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans la villa de Ginette et Peter qui ont été aux petits soins pour nous. La maison est parfaitement équipée et est très spacieuse ce qui permet à chacun d’avoir son indépendance même à plus de 20 personnes. Le cadre (quelle vue!!!) est la situation sont parfaits si vous cherchez le calme tout en étant prêt de Sitges. La villa est décorée avec beaucoup d’attention et on se sent vraiment chez soi. En résumé nous recommandons fortement. Encore merci à Ginette et Peter.

As villa owners ourselves, we were very happy the villa and had a wonderful time around the pool and outdoor dining. The owner Peter was always available as well as his property manager. Great location from Sitges and the train station with Barcelona only a 45 minute ride. Looking forward to our return.

Amazing!

This villa has all you can wish for! We were six families with kids (age 2-11) celebrating our 40th birthdays. The place is spacious and so well looked after, with attention to every detail. The cook and meal service was excellent! A yoga teacher came to the house a coupe of times for private classes. Contact with the owners was very easy and professional from start to finish. Practicalities at arrival and check out was very smooth. Would highly recommend this place, and hope to come back in the near future!

Great location

Thank you Peter and Ginette for your warm hospitality. We were a large group of 10 adults and 13 kids. We had plenty of room and everyone had a lot of fun. The location was perfect - close to Sitges, between Barcelona and Tarragona. The house was very well equipped to receive us all. Highly recommend for a large group of family and friends.

Wonderful villa

Our family has just spent two weeks at this wonderful villa to celebrate my husband's 70th birthday. Our party comprised 8 adults and 7 children and we had the most fantastic time. The accommodation is superb and there is so much to do that it's almost a shame to leave it and visit the surrounding areas! Besides the pool area and the games room, there are so many books and games for all ages that it is simply mind-boggling! Having said that, we did have a couple of trips to Barcelona as well as to Sitges which were very interesting. You do need a car as the location is very rural and the views over the Natural Park are magnificent. Jana (the housekeeper) and her team were marvellous and so helpful. We would recommend this villa to anyone who is looking for an 'away from it all' break and we are just looking for another excuse to stay there again ourselves!! Ginette and Peter - you have a truly amazing property here and you have equipped it with absolutely everything that your guests could possibly need. Thank you so much.

Beautiful property

We had a great time. Very Large house. Easily accommodated 17 of us. Extremely quiet neighborhood, close to the beach and grocery stores. Extremely clean especially given the age of the house. The house is apparently 400 years old and has been mostly remodeled. 50% of the bedrooms have an AC. Despite the lack of AC, we had no issues with the heat in mid July. The pool is also perfect. Wunderbarer Ort für große Gruppen mit Rückzugsmöglichkeiten

Die Villa ist liebevoll eingerichtet, ohne für Kinder zu kompliziert zu sein. Auch können sich Einzelne mal zurück ziehen. Die Sitzgelegenheiten draußen sind toll, der Blick wunderschön. Es ist einfach für alles gesorgt, um einen entspannten Urlaub zu verbringen! Die Gastgeber begegnen ihren Gästen mit Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft, auch das ist sehr angenehm. Absolut empfehlenswert!!!

Our expectations were high from the description and pictures and all were exceeded!

There are no words to adequately describe this brilliant Villa! It was perfection, paradise. We had a family vacation for 20 of us. We were 12 adults and 8 grandchildren. There was more than enough room for all of us whether it was early morning yoga on the terrace or everyone in the pool. The location in the hills is perfect, the house is perfect and Jana, the housekeeper was wonderful. The owners were more than patient and very helpful with all of our pre-trip questions. You do want to have a car to go out on excursions in the area and into Barcelona. It is an easy trip to Barcelona. You can either drive in which we did or drive to the bus or train station. The little town of Sant Pere De Ribes was a hidden gem with restaurants and coffee shops and an organic grocers as well as a full service grocery store. I would recommend this property to anyone as you will NOT be disappointed and we will be back for sure. Do not leave without at least one night with the Chef Maria. We did one and all agreed we should have done more! What a feast. Thank you Ginette, Peter and Jana!

Merveilleuse Villa

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans cette villa du 14 au 21/04/18, Les 10 chambres sont toutes superbes, très grandes et les salles de bains avec WC très jolie. La piscine, les chaises longues, le bar de la piscine, la tonnelle et les canapés de jardin c est vraiment très beau et confortable. La vue sur la vallée et la mer est fantastique !! Nous avons fait appel à Suzanna et Maria pour la cuisine du déjeuner et du dîner tous les jours de la semaine et nous nous sommes régalés, elles cuisines vraiment très très bien et sont très gentilles et nous demandaient toujours ce que nous voulions manger pour nous faire plaisir. Je vous conseille vivement cette location car les prestations sont hauts de gamme, la villa est très agréable et le personnel très gentil. Sitges est à 7km, c est très rapide d accès. la villa n a pas de voisins proche donc vous pouvez faire du bruit sans risquer de déranger le voisinage 🎶. La salle de jeu avec billard 🎱 et table de ping-pong 🏓 c est sympa pour jouer en famille.

Great place for our family reunion!

We loved the Masia and it's location to Barcelona, Montserrat, Tarragona and the wineries. A suggestion for the owners would be to make it clear that the doorways are very low, the house water is not drinkable, you have to pay extra for heating the pool and the house water heating system is not convenient. We appreciated Jana the housekeeper and her care for us which helped make our stay enjoyable.

A perfect place for a family gathering!

This was a perfect villa for our 22 party members both adults and kids. Ginette, Peter & Jana are amazing hosts, very responsive and so kind to help us plan our trip from A-Z. The Villa website is very helpful and gives great tips -tour ideas, local chef and more. We had a wonderful time at this magical place. Thank you again!

Perfect Villa

We have spent a great week in Villa Can Marcer de Penya. The Villa is just beautiful and the garden too. It is very safe for children and the game room is very useful. Everything was very cleaned when we came in and we have been warmly welcomed by the home manager. The bedrooms are nicely decorated and huge. The two living-rooms has a large choice of DVDs and allow everyone to have its own privacy. We had an excellent stay!!

Exceptional large villa near Barcelona!

Where to start with this gem of a property!! What an amazing week this was for myself and my 16 family members. One that we will never forget! This beautifully presented Spanish property is everything a large family/group should require when looking to get away and seek some of the beautiful Spanish sunshine we were lucky enough to have had. The support and help from the two hosts Ginette and Paul was excellent, always quick to reply to any enquiries and extremely helpful which is always reassuring when organising large groups! Nothing is ever too much hassle. On our arrival we were greeted by Jana, the housekeeper of this property. An extremely helpful, polite and approachable lady who ensures that everything runs smoothly during your stay. We were shown a tour of the property which helped give us time to get our 'bearings' of the villa and ask any questions. Once again nothing was ever too much hassle and we were made to feel at home from the moment we arrived. The villa layout is excellent, with a main kitchen and lounge located in the centre of the property. All of the bedrooms are magnificent and quirky in their own way, giving each room it's own personality. The villa as a whole was spotless... Jana and the ladies obviously work very hard in the short turn around prior to new parties arriving. The outside space (where we spent most of our time) is outstanding. The large dining room table offers a perfect location for family meals and late evening gatherings with beautiful scenic views of the surrounding park. The pool it must be said is the focal point during the day, and a beautiful one of which it must be said. With plenty of shaded seating it makes a perfect location for long summer days. The local shops are only a 5 - 10 minute drive away, making it easy to fill the fridge of everything you need. A car is essential! Overall a stunning villa that offered us everything we wanted for a special family occasion, one of which we could not recommend more highly.

We're an English family from London. Our son was born in Madrid and we lived in Barcelona since 2000. We bought this Catalan masia (large country house) in 2001. We chose this villa because of its fantastic location. It has everything - a peaceful, rural location with lovely views and yet is only 5 minutes from the shops, 10 minutes from buzzing Sitges, 30 minutes from the airport , 40 minutes from Barcelona centre and is surrounded by wine country, gastronomic delights and exciting historical places to explore. So it satisfied my husband's love of country life, I can still escape to galleries, museums, theatres and city life that I love and we can go off together discovering new interesting places.

When we arrived there was a tiny kitchen with only a stone sink and a cold tap. Most of the cooking was done on the open fireplace in the dining room. Every room had swallows nesting in them and we had to wait for the birds to hatch and learn to fly before we could start painting. The birds used to peck on the windows in the morning for us to let them in. There was one shower with only a hot tap so we had to wash in buckets.

Built in 1605 this was a wine producing house surrounded by vineyards. Every year we enjoy seeing how our Guests are using the house and thinking of new projects to make new improvements. We hope you have a wonderful stay!

We chose this area because we have the best of every world - Barcelona is a great city full of culture and great design and architecture, by the sea yet only a couple of hours drive to go skiing. We chose the house because we are in a quite rural location with beautiful walks into the hills, yet a stone's throw from all the bars, fashion and beaches of Sitges. The airport is only 30 minutes away and Barcelona 40 mins away so its a fantastic location and well communicated.

There are so many places to visit - vineyards, monasteries, cava bodegas, water parks and port aventura, wonderful Catalan Medieval towns, Montserrat mountains and monastery as well as to the Buddhist Monastery in the Garraf Natural Park both of which are wonderful for walking.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The great thing about the house is that you can happily have 26 + people staying, yet everyone can find their own space without feeling on top of eachother. The kids always have something to do and can run around to their hearts content.

For corporate groups they have the high speed internet and facilities they need to work, and can strengthen their team by living and working together in this lovely setting. Yet its spacious enough to find seclusion and peace when needed, and there are many many activities to participate in nearby.

For wellness groups they enjoy being close to nature and fresh air with delicious healthy food and sunshine. They usually spend all their time at the masia and never get bored because they can take their meals in different areas of the house or practise yoga and meditate also in different places.

Once you get to the house, you can really relax - it is a world of its own where you can just enjoy yourself without any real need to go anywhere else if you don't feel like it.
