We were in town for a family party and had two couples (sisters and spouses) and 86 year old mother. The stairs going up are quite steep but mom was a champ. Just a warning for anyone. with mobility issues. The rest of the place was laid out ideally for just enough visiting space and private space. Nice yard too!! very great neighborhood if you run!!!! This would have been ideal for a family with some teen kids. There is a little gaming area. Hostess was great!! All in all I say go for it!

At the Center of Things

We enjoyed the location in the heart of The Fan District. Most things were within walking distance. The home is quiet, comfortable, and spacious. Our hosts were very responsive. Thank you.

Great Apartment!

The apartment is very nice and in a great location with a short distance to Cary Street, Hollywood Cemetary, Maymont, restaurants and shops. The host was very responsive if we needed anything. Would definitely stay here again

Lovely but Lacking

We want to give honest feedback so you can improve this accommodation - it has potential to be great. Towels, bedding and linens are not acceptable for a VRBO accommodation. Mismatched, stained, old. Several broken items like kitchen cabinet door and microwave handle. Generally the space wasn’t very clean. Controls for radiator vs AC need to be identified. Furniture and rugs are stained. Cooking debris in the drawers and bottom drawer of oven. Porches were filthy, and unusable. There were cobwebs in the windows. Shower liner was too big and not clean in hallway bathroom. Liner touches you when showering. Only 1 window in two bedrooms with 2 windows had a window blind. We loved the location and the Fan neighborhood. Mollie was extremely helpful/responsive. Mattresses were comfortable. Would stay again if items above were corrected.

Girls trip

Quick trip visit with long-time friends. This place was perfect! It is a fantastic location and has lots of places to hang out. The host was easy to work with and responded in minutes with any questions. I highly recommend this place and the area.

Quick Richmond Visit

The apartment is in a great neighborhood and in easy walking distances to restaurants and markets. The host, Mollie, is very easy to work with and the apartment more than met our needs. A great stay!

Great place, great neighborhood

The place was perfect for our family’s needs - great neighborhood, clean, spacious - even cool games (an old school stand up video game, foosball) for the kids. Mollie the host was fantastic and very communicative. We would come back in a heartbeat.

We enjoyed a nice weekend in Richmond with family. The home was great for visiting, playing games, and simple meals. The location in the Fan is a huge positive.

Overall a great place! Awesome location!

Location is awesome and so convenient! Place was spacious and host was very helpful! Did lack a few needed items (i.e., trash bags, toilet paper) but we were able to walk to a store to grab items.

Holiday Wedding Weekend in Richmond

This property was perfect for our stay over New Year’s weekend! The neighborhood was absolutely precious with Christmas lights in all the trees and the decorated homes. Parking is on the street, but we never had an issue finding a close spot. The home itself is very spacious and comfortable and had every amenity we needed.

Great for a "girl's weekend"!

Five women and I met stayed here for a "girl's weekend" the first weekend in December. This is a lovely old home, very roomy, with plenty of space for the six of us. The kitchen has the basics, but not lots of extras. One way the home could be changed to work better for six people is to add more comfy seating in the living room. We ended up moving dining room chairs in there for two of us to sit on, which are not the most comfortable of seating options. Because we were there to "catch up" with each other, we spent a lot of time hanging out in the living room, so that one thing would've made the house almost perfect. We enjoyed delicious food and fun activities in Richmond and all fell in love with the area. We were able to walk to a few cute shops around the corner, and drove to restaurants that were farther away (but only 10 minutes or so). I'm very glad we chose this house and would definitely rent it again if the need arose!

Great location in the Fan district for the Richmond Half Marathon

This place was great! Host was very available and helpful and quick to answer questions we stayed for the marathon(1/2) weekend and got to see some of Richmond. This is located walking distance to everything!!

Large apartment in a great neighborhood

Mollie is a perfect host. The apartment is the whole first floor, really big and great set-up for 3 couples. The neighbors and the neighborhood were great. You can get everything you need from food, beer, wine, bars, restaurants, museums within a 10 minute walk. We had a blast in Richmond for a wedding. Hanging out on the front porch was a highlight.

We are positioned in a fantastic location in The Fan. You can walk to the museums, restaurants, VCU, Carytown, and Scott's Addition. Quick uber ride to get downtown. On a nice night, it's quite nice to sit on the front porch and watch the people walk by.
