Compré esta casa en 2016 y renove completamente toda la casa. Cuenta con un plano de planta abierto, una gran cocina, 2 baños completos, lavadora y secadora, y un amplio patio. La casa está a poca distancia del río, el centro de Clayton, tiendas, servicios y restaurantes. ¡Es un gran espacio para vacaciones familiares, grupos que asisten a eventos en el área de las 1000 islas, o simplemente unas vacaciones tranquilas! ¡Reservar ahora!

Perfect getaway

Property was as advertised. Great location near town (walkable). Large kitchen accommodated our family. Felt like our home away from home.

This charming house was the perfect place for us and our 2 dogs, and we cannot thank Ashley enough for how welcoming it was! Spotlessly clean, every possible amenity, and best of all— we could see the river from the front of the driveway! Every morning we walked our girls about 135 steps down the road and enjoyed saying hello to the swans in the little bay. It was perfect and we are already planning when we can return.

The house was great !! Quiet neighborhood,beautiful kitchen,bathroom upstairs and downstairs,great deck area outside and grill but it rained on the days we could’ve hung out. I would recommend this place to anyone that’s going to spend time in Clayton for sure !!! Ashley is very easy to get ahold of for any questions too.

Host was very easy to work with. Check in easy as well. Home is nicely equipped with everything we needed. Close enough that we walked to dinner 2 nights to a nice seafood restaurant. Quiet and comfortable. Off the beaten path a bit, which we prefer.

Perfect Location

Property was ideally located to explore the Thousand Island Region. Clayton is a quaint town with good restaurants. Property was very well stocked and host was very responsive for any questions. One note - the pictures of the waterfront/chairs are not on property but are in the nearby village of Clayton. We enjoyed our stay very much

Cozy Home in a Nice Quiet Location

Ashley was very helpful with a couple of minor issues, communicating promptly. We found the property to be very clean and cozy and accommodating, bed comfortable, kitchen and bathroom amenities all first rate! Clayton is a charming and picturesque town, and the river and surrounding countryside are beautiful. We stayed a few nights in Mid-November and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

The house was beautiful and very clean. Ashley had all the amenities needed from kitchen to bath. The location is ideal and close to all the places we wanted to go. 12 miles from A-Bay. Delicious restaurants nearby. I'd definitely stay here again!!!

Very comfortable no problems

Very nice, beds were very comfortable but TV in bedroom we couldn’t work. Our host was very nice and pleasant to talk with.

Cozy Cottage

This cozy house provides all that you will need for your stay! There is no grill for cooking, but a well stocked kitchen for preparing meals! Better than a 4 star hotel with room to relax both inside & out! Local restaurants and golf course are in walking distance to this quiet neighborhood. Although there is not direct access to the Seaway, Clayton provides a beautiful waterfront to walk and explore!

Wonderful surprise

Having never rented a house before, I was skeptical to say the least. I didn't expect the house to look anything like the pictures. I am pleased to say I was wrong. The house looked exactly like it did in the pictures. It was clean, comfortable and roomy. The neighborhood was nice and quiet and close to downtown Clayton. Ashley provided everything we could hope to have, and even a few extras. We brought coffee and were a little panicked when we saw the Keurig, but Ashley provided a nice assortment of K-cups for us to use. My friends and I had a great time on our girls trip and will stay here again should we visit the area again.

Convenient locaction

We enjoyed our stay especially the convenient location to downtown and neighborhood was quiet. We were able to grill although we ran out of gas while grilling for a family get together and had to finish on the stove. Host did offer to bring a refill but opted to wait until the next day. I loaded the dishwasher but had no power and ended up washing dishes our entire stay as hosts husband was unable to resolve the issue. The portable AC in the dining room was very helpful as it was a bit warm during our stay. As an owner of long term rentals, I’d like to make a few suggestions. The kitchen floor tiles that are loose need to be repaired and provide another garbage can for trash. The queen bed was not very comfortable but the king bed was great. The washer and dryer was an awesome plus. We did have an issue with sugar ants so keeping any food off the counter is a must. The host was quick to respond to me and would definitely consider a return stay if the issues we encountered were resolved.

Fantastic getaway!

We had a fantastic time staying at Ashley’s house. The house was clean and very nicely decorated. It was completed updated and had everything we needed. The location was great, we traveled to Cape Vincent, Alexandria Bay and also went to Sackets Harbor. The restaurants were very good and reasonable. The Clipper Inn, O’Briens and The Wood Boat Brewery were all very good. Do t forget to stop at River Rat Cheese store and stock up. We took a 15 minute ride to Alexandria Bay for breakfast a couple times. Window by the bay in the River Edge Hotel had a fantastic breakfast with a beautiful Channel View deck over looking Boldt Castle. Good Fellos in Sackets Harbor was a very good Italian restaurant and worth the 1/2 hour drive. There is a fun miniature golf course just down the road. I would highly recommend an Uncle Sams cruise too! We really enjoyed our visit and highly recommend staying at Ashley’s. Len Herr Niagara Falls,NY

Great property, responsive owner, clean and close to a variety of things to do.

Wonderful house, very modern and clean. Great amenities and close to many local sites. Stairs are a bit steep, adding curtains on some windows would be a plus for extra privacy, rooms are spacious and overall the property is great. Would definitely rent again.

Convenient location

The house was in a convenient location which made it easy to get around Clayton. Well stocked with kitchen basics, impressive artwork throughout, very comfortable beds. The owner was responsive to a request, and gave a great recommendation for antique shops and restaurants. As a gardener, I would have liked to see the gardens kept up, but the owner did indicate she would be working on them. A quick trip but we all enjoyed it very much!

Modern, clean and eclectic

We enjoyed our stay at Ashley's home. Her eclectic taste in art and furnishings made it a very interesting place. There were a few paintings I wanted to tuck away in my suitcase but I resisted. The kitchen, especially, was spacious and the downstairs in general was great for our party of four. The upstairs does have lowere ceilings, due to the age of the home, so you have to watch out a bit if you're tall, like my husband. The location was perfect for our first trip to 1000 Islands. We were close to town and a quick drive to Alex Bay, Wellesley Island and other sites. Ashley was super responsive to our requests (even bringing over a new coffee pot since we weren't thrilled with Keurig) and a great host in every way. Even though we couldn't go into Canada on this trip, we found lots to do and really enjoyed learning about this little corner of NY state.

Vacation rental close to the Saint Lawrence

Vacation rental close to the St. Lawrence.... Very spacious… Close to many activities... Close to downtown Clayton (we could ride our bikes there)... Good yard space… Nice deck for lounging in the sun. Loved the auto floor sweeper that ran nightly.

We had a wonderful relaxing time. We needed a small get away. We were close to Alex Bay & the boat tours but far enough away to not have too much commotion
