Gran casa unifamiliar con 8 habitaciones. Gran cocina moderna con 2 refrigeradores y todo lo que necesita, comedor, sala familiar. Lavadora / secadora gratis. Aire acondicionado y ventiladores de techo en cada habitación y áreas comunes. Gran terraza y patio cercado. A 4 minutos a pie de la playa ya 3 minutos a pie de la avenida principal y el parque de atracciones. Cerca de toda la acción, pero aún lo suficientemente lejos de las multitudes para relajarse al aire libre y disfrutar del fuego.
Esta es una casa ideal para familias y no estamos buscando alquilar a graduados de secundaria que busquen un lugar para reunirse antes de ir a la universidad.
Casa completamente amueblada con 5 camas queen, 1 full, 2 gemelas, 1 juego de literas y 2 sofás queen extraíbles. También cuenta con sillas de playa, bicicletas, vagones de playa, sombrillas.
Tendrá que traer sus propias sábanas y toallas.

This host is great about communicating and responds quickly to any issues. There were a few minor things that need to be taken care of but it is an older home so not unexpected and minor inconveniences. This was our 3rd year having our post holiday “reunion “ and we hope to continue in the future

Great family get away

We loved the spaciousness of this well equipped house. The location was great a short walk to shops restaurants and the beach. The yard and fire pit were fun for family chats! It was a great place to celebrate a 94th birthday.

Plenty of room for us all. Lots of parking. Fenced in yard for all kids to run and be safe. Firepit a Plus. We had a great time. Hoping to rebook for next summer

Won’t disappoint!

This was our second stay at Sandy Cove and I’ll be back again! The place is clean, convenient, cozy, and spacious! So much room to spread out but common spaces are family friendly. Hosts are accessible and easy to work with! Highly recommend! Beach proximity is a plus!

Fall family fun Birthday celebration weekend

Overall we would definitely stay here again! We wish the yard would have been cleaned up (lots of leaves and sticks everywhere). House was pretty tidy. Area rug and steps could use a thorough vacuuming.

Easter weekend

This house is great for family get togethers! Plenty of room for meals, which what we were looking for. Great fenced in yard, for an Easter egg hunt for my grandchildren! Lots of privacy! So many bedrooms, oh my gosh! Plenty of cooking supplies- bowls, pots, utensils! Close to the beach and so many places to eat in the summer! Walking distance!

Cozy Spacious House with Everything - Fantastic Spot - GREAT HOST

My extended family and I have been looking over our last 15 years of summer gatherings for THE SPOT that has all the (many!) basics we need. This is it! The well-kept house has lots of rooms/bed options for humans, pet-friendly with a fenced-in yard, fire pit, large deck w/ grill just off the kitchen, great set up for meals w/ 2 fridges & open kitchen and ample seating in the dining room (and every room), WiFi, cable, A/C and ceiling fans in *every room*!, 4 bathrooms w/ 3 showers. AND Mike the host was very responsive and helpful for any question we may have. AND the house is truly mere minutes from the pier/beach. SO perfect for our gaggle of teenage cousins. And for the adults, as we didn't have to drive anywhere to enjoy Old Orchard Beach's best offerings. An awesome find all around :-)

Perfect Getaway Place

We found this cute little "cottage" style home nestled in the heart of Old Orchard Beach and it fit our needs perfectly. We are from ME and MA and this was a great "meet in the middle" spot for us. There are 11 of us; Two families spanning 3 generations; Grandparents, Parents and Young Adults (ages 16-20) and the layout was perfect for us - young adults shared the top floor and the "parents" all on the first floor. We loved the long tables in the kitchen area and spent hours playing games here. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and pans, etc and there are plenty of storage spaces for anything you might bring with you. We found everything we needed for the meals we had planned. The living room with the fireplace was nice and cozy for a place to just sit and catch up with each other. A quick 10 minute walk (or less) gets you to the beach area, but at this time of year everything is closed so we did have to leave the area to get to some eating places but no more than 10-15 minutes away. The house is old and tired in some places, but it is cozy and clean and when we did have a slight issue with a leaky pipe, Mike was quick to respond and instruct us how to fix it! We will definitely be back again this time next year!

Great location for a large group

We traveled with a large group of friends (4 families). There were 7 Adults and 8 kids. There is no housekeeper after you leave so if the people before you do not clean up their mess then you are left with it (that is why I gave the cleanliness 3 stars). I had to vacuum and clean the bathrooms when we arrived because there was dirt and grass all over the floors and the bathrooms looked like they were not cleaned at all (hair on the floor, soap scum in the showers and toothpaste in the sink and on the mirror). When we arrived, it was easy to gain access to the house. The house does not look big on the outside but wait until you get inside and look around. There were 4 bedrooms upstairs (3 had queen beds and 1 a set of twin beds) and a bathroom with a standup shower. Down stairs has 3 bedrooms (3 queen beds), also a common room that has a set of bunk beds and a futon, and 2 ½ bathrooms. The kitchen has everything you could need and there are so many pots and pans to choose from. The property is located a few blocks from the main strip so you do not have to pay for parking since you can walk. I cannot wait to stay here next time we visit Old Orchard Beach.

I’m so glad you liked the house but I’m upset about you finding it dirty. I do have a housecleaner that cleans between every rental. I will work to make sure this doesn’t happen again.

Great location and property, however there is a cleanliness issue here.

I was hesitant on writing this review, as I would stay here again - so let me make that clear. The pros: great location, lots and lots of room to have families, great big kitchen, and the extra bathrooms are fantastic to have. Love the outdoor space for the dog, which was clean and mowed (no old dog poop - and yes, I did pick my dogs up). Beach chairs and umbrella were a great bonus to be able to use! However - the house overall wasn’t clean. The floor especially I would not walk on without shoes, and very sandy/dirty bathroom floors and mats. The first night we washed the bathroom rugs and vacuumed the bathrooms ourselves because they were both so full of dirt and sand. The mattresses need to be replaced. I removed the mattress pad to use my own I brought with, and it was pretty gross. I’ve seen worse, but I’ve seen better. Cobwebs and dust were on the lights in the back 1st floor bathroom. However, showers & toilets, as well as counter surfaces throughout were clean. Upstairs, although we didn’t use this room, there was a room with a previous renters towels and hair on the nightstand - which tells me the cleaning staff never even entered this room since the previous renter was there. I really appreciate no cleaning fees by the owner, and I don’t mind tidying up a bit. However, we were told someone is coming in to clean in between renters, however that doesn’t seem like it’s happening or they’re not performing their job. I do expect when renting a hotel room or a vacation rental that it be clean, and since COVID, sanitized. I would return, as long as the space was cleaner/got a deep cleaning.

OOB Late Season

We loved the spacious house, long and sturdy dining tables, well-stocked kitchen and close access to downtown. Lots of seascape paintings and decor enhanced our seaside escape. Vacationers should be aware that many of OOB’s businesses are shuttered after Labor Day, but the ocean was a close walk, and there were a still some good eating places and shops for our needs. Happened upon the town’s library book sale and that was a bonus. Sound of the train going thru regularly was charming.

Fabulous property

Our extended family of 15 stayed here last week and were very happy with the accommodations ,location and cleanliness. 5 minute walk downtown ,nice deck and yard ,safe walking neighborhood ,and plenty of room in the house for activities ,or just to find a quiet corner.

Best Girls Weekend

6 of us stayed and we loved that we each had our own rooms, and the 4 seperate bathrooms was also awesome! We loved our stay and highly recommend this house!! The walk to the maine strip was quik and easy, the house was out of the busy areas which was perfect for a quiet night! The owner was very responsive and helpful in the booking and time leading g up to our stay!

Great beach house

Nice house five minute walk to beach. Kitchen was well equipped. We had seven adults and several young children house was plenty big enough.
