Great Location, Great Stay

Even though is was a bit high up for us the place was clean and spacious as advertised and the location was perfect. Right on the beach and close to all the food and fun activities that make vacations great.

While this was a last minute trip for us, and we were very happy to find a place to accommodate our family, there were certainly areas that could be improved on. Our unit needed some attention; there were holes in the walls, the carpet had not been vacuumed, the fan in the bathroom did not work, the coffee pot was chipped, the patio had not been cleaned and was full of sticky spots, and the front door did not close all the way and was often very hard to open. Also has first time visitors, it would have been helpful for clearer "Upon arrival" instructions such as where to park, how to check in, where to find out unit etc. The front desk staff was not very friendly and while we understand they dont work for your company, did not represent the association very well. None of these are items that would cause us not to return, but could be for the next guest. We loved the location, the views, the pool area, and the beach access. We hope to visit again, when there are not such significant staffing shortages and other amenities would be available (Pizza Hut, ice cream shop, etc).

Beach and Pool and Condo Unit were good, Elevators and Parking were Horrible!

The condo unit itself was nice. Being beachfront was nice. The pool was nice. The parking situation and the elevator situation were both the worst that I have ever encountered! I will not ever stay at the Shores of Panama again because they do not have elevators able to handle their capacity. The minimum wait for an elevator was 10 minutes, the maximum wait was hours. Many people took flights and flights of stairs while carrying luggage, groceries, beach chairs, etc. just to avoid the extended wait times for a reliable elevator. The elevators were constantly overloaded and shutting down when there weren't enough to begin with. Also, the parking garage does not accommodate two cars driving side by side around turns creating vast backups. It often took at least 30 minutes just to exit the parking garage. The night we arrived we drove around the parking deck for 2 hours looking for the spot we were to park in as the numbering has no rhyme or reason. If I were a college kid looking for a place on the beach to get drunk and rowdy and not care about trying to leave and do things off the property I would stay at the Shores of Panama, but as a Mom over the age of 25 I would not recommend the property. I paid for far better accommodations than I received. I do not fault the individual unit, as that was as expected, but due to the other issues I will not be back. Also, the pool rules do not allow for children to have any fun: no floats what so ever and no tossing a ball or frisbee. I understand no oversized floats and no hard balls being thrown a great distance, but the rules ban everything down to a child's intertube and a nerf ball.

Overall it was a good condo.

The condo itself is clean and in a good location. There were a few things that could be fixed to make the stay extremely better. My biggest issue was coming in from the beach with a maintenance man in our room with no prior notice and then no response from them after we called about the incident to make sure everything was legitimate. But other than that they were easy to contact. The pull out mattress on the couch needs replaced, the floor was more comfortable. The bunk beds say no one on the top bunk over 100lbs and the bottom bunk mattress you can feel the springs laying down. Master bed was fine, and other than a few holes in the wall the condo was cute and clean. The actual property itself seems to have A LOT of people crammed together. Not enough elevators, so long wait times. Parking garage is a crazy set up. And this place had more people on the beach than anywhere else we've stayed. Even in rented chairs there were people on top of each other everywhere. Loved the condo and the people we rented from were easy to reach, but won't pick this particular property again.

June Stay

Property was nice, elevators were terrible! It took us about 2 hours to unpack due to waiting on the elevator!

Time in room

The office staff of book The condo was great. All expectations of check in and service from staff was great. But the room not so much. Mold in the shower and shower curtain, holes in the wall and toilet paper holder off ripped of the wall. No blankets in the room. The refrigerator had cabinets stuck.and unable to use. But again we where on vacation and we didn't spend much time in the room. Also the back porch needs a good cleaning.

Relaxing, convenient, family fun..

Loved the pool and access to the beach. The property location was perfect. Security was on point and cut out any noise issues quickly. Condo was cute and spacious and had great views. Cleaning people could have done a bit better as we found stuff around the condo that should have been found by the cleaning people, especially for covid times. My only other complain was elevators, some were not working. FYI the indoor pool is not ventilated so you can't stand more than 15mins or you lungs and eyes will burn but who goes to the beach for the indoor pool lol. Over all id say 8/10.

Unit nice, but complex has some issues

UNIT - nice view and good location. Loud dishwasher and garbage disposal. COMPLEX - appears to be in transition. Several elevators not working, outdoor pool and hot tub not usable, tiny parking places, a lot of construction going on. Needs some upkeep. Has potential.
