Cozy cottage nestled in the woods near WILLSTELLA Farm Venue

Cute two-bedroom cottage nestled in the woods beside a beautiful romantic wedding venue! Sleeps 4 comfortable but can supply you with a blow-up bed on legs if we know prior to check in for an additional $40. There is a couch in the sunroom off of the master bedroom that would be suitable for younger adults. House has an open den with gas logs in the fireplace! Nice wrap-around deck overlooking the wooded lot. You are close to downtown but feel like you are way out in the country once you get settled into this cozy cottage.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this clean, extremely tastefully decorated home with any and everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. My family came for the day and we were able to cook and have a great meal together. The linens were top notch and the sunroom off the master was so great to sit and enjoy nature. Books, games and plenty of things to do. In my opinion the best VRBO we’ve ever stayed in. I hope to come back and enjoy it again. Comfortable beds and furniture.

The property is gorgeous! It looks just like the photos (picture perfect). The cottage offers such a warm and cozy feeling. The only thing I would let others know. If you aren’t a nature person or have a pet you may be spooked by the dear crossings. But 10 out 10, I recommend.

This cottage was wonderful. My husband and college Sr. Daughter stayed here while she attended a music conference in Winston-Salem. It was about 15 minutes from the conference center. I was so glad I picked this property. It was super clean and extremely quiet. On Saturday night they had a wedding across the field. We could see all the lights which was a nice touch, and the guest were far enough away that they did not bother us one bit. I was not looking forward to a busy weekend of running my daughter around but this cottage help to make the weekend enjoyable. You will not be sorry if stay here.

The Vanstella Cottage is so very cozy. The beds are comfortable and the furniture and decor are lovely. Angie, the owner, is incredibly accommodating. The house is stocked so well and our every need was met. We hope to visit again and will recommend this lovely cozy cottage to others.

Wonderful Stay

Clean, well-stocked, and comfy beds and seating. The best part is the sunroom off the master bedroom. You feel like you're sipping tea in the tree tops. It's quiet, and you feel like you are away from it all, but your just 10 to 20 minutes from anything you could need. Had a very relaxing weekend. Thank you!

Comfortable and thoughtfully appointed

The owners have thought of everything in this property both inside and out. It is comfortable and cozy. Feels like home and tastefully decorated. Everything you need including what you forgot to bring! Plus you feel like you are out in the country in the woods yet you are 1.5 miles from every convenience.Loved our stay!

Relaxing in the country

I wish I'd had more time to explore the area. The home is just beautiful and the decor is exceptional. Plenty of things to read, games to play, television, wi-fi, the works! Lots of seating and the master bed was so comfortable, I didn't want to get up. Great adult atmosphere.

Spring High Point market trip

Best VRBO out there

The owners have beautifully decorated and stocked this lovely home. The attention to detail and decor is masterfully created. The furniture is all comfortable and welcoming. The beds were so comfortable and had all the pillows and extra blankets you could ever need. Extras like the record player, ping pong table, fireplace, games and books give guests plenty to fill their free time. Staying here feels like a true vacation. The location is perfect for feeling remote yet being close to stores, restaurants and the highway. I’m looking forward to booking more stays here in the future!

3 Generation get-a-way

My mother, daughter and I stayed for a 3 generation get-a-way. All the places I viewed were very nice, neat and clean but I always look for something unique to add to our experience and the Vanstella Cottage was just perfect. Sitting back off the road by itself with the wrap-around porch, facing the woods was so peaceful and the lighting around the woods and property at night was a nice touch. The decor in the house is amazing. There is plenty of light and fresh air with the sliding glass doors and windows. On chilly days and nights you can be cozy by the gas fireplace. The master bedroom is a dream come true with its added patio room. No stairs to climb (inside or out) and a walk in shower is perfect for someone with limited abilities. On arrival we were welcomed with lighting, soft music and a fresh scent throughout the house. The welcome book on the kitchen counter explained everything you would need and the additional information on how the farm venu and cottage were named was interesting to know.. Tucked right off the road but the feel of being secluded. Conveniently located close to Winston Salem, Greensboro, restaurants and shopping for all you need. The owner is an exceptional host, so quick to respond with any concerns you may have. I highly recommend Vansella Cottage for your next stay.

So charming!

This was the perfect little home for our trip. We enjoyed all the antiques throughout the home! The music playing when we entered was a nice touch and my son enjoyed the record player then whole weekend! Hoping to return when it’s warmer to enjoy the back deck and have my morning coffee out there.

We have lived in Kernersville for 50 years. We bought the Smith Farm in 2013 and decided in 2015 to turn the old farmhouse and barn into a beautiful wedding venue and we named it after the owner's Will & Stella Smith ( WILLSTELLA FARM). We have hosted over 150 weddings so far. We were privileged to be able to buy the cottage from one of the siblings that were born in the farmhouse. This cottage is nestled in the woods far enough from the venue but close enough to feel the magic of taking you back in time to when porch sitting and relaxation was more common. We are sure you feel very rejuvenated after your stay at the VANSTELLA COTTAGE. The cathedral ceiling and gas logs in the den create a great room for hanging out and chatting and the wrap-around deck overlooking the wooded lot adds another great conversation area. Both of our statement bedrooms will definitely give you a good night's rest with lush linens.
