Great place / location

This is the 2nd year we’ve stayed at this property for a girls weekend. Loved the new outdoor patio furniture, perfect place to relax while listening to the ocean. Will be back next year for sure!

Great location and clean comfortable rental

We love the location of Shore Drive. The property amenities were great and the beach was perfect. The view was amazing. The furniture was clean and comfortable. My only note is the beds could be softer. Everything else was great.

Great location right on the beach. Only thing that was lacking was a washer and dryer which was listed but there wasn’t one.

Location was great. The place needs deep cleaned though!! Broken chairs on porch. Rugs were disgusting and empty drink bottles behind nightstand when I was looking for an outlet

Beautiful view

I loved the location but it needs a deep Cleaning like the carpet and furniture need to be shampooed and get the mold smell in there and the dishes had to be rewashed before use but other than that I enjoyed myself.

Amazing location

We absolutely loved the location. The building was nice, parking was unproblematic, checkin and out was simple. The rental can use a deep clean and maybe a fresh coat of paint. WiFi and tv was really annoying to use because it would constantly disconnect. Would be nice if usable chairs and an umbrella were available for use (One chair provided but was too rusty to open and close). Overall it was a great stay with our 2 toddlers. We would definitely stay here again!

Right on the beach, if you need wifi good luck

Property is located in a prime location. It was clean and tidy but the wifi was absolutely horrible. Cable wouldn't work and the wifi is open access so anyone could be on it therefore no one could be on it.

Great Location but room needs some updating.

We loved the location. The porch chairs were cheap and some broken. Room needs a good cleaning for the furniture. I think that some new beach cushions and bedding would lighten the condo.

Pelican Watch

Condo is old and a bit dated with light fixtures from the 70's or 80's but the did the job. The place needs some maintenance, paint, shoe molding is pulling away from walls, it just shows heavy use I guess. The kitchen is pretty well equipped and has both a K Cup machine and traditional coffee maker, the ice maker worked great, a couple of baking sheets would be a great addition to the pan assortment. Wifi worked fine but disconnects after a few hours but no problem signing back on each time. TV was fine nothing special, their is a very large ottoman in the living room taking up a lot of space and we had 2 seniors with walkers and canes so navigation for them was difficult. Back deck (6' x 12') was screened in and I would prefer no screen on the beach since bugs are usually not a nuisance on the beach. It was a good value in a great location with ease of access to the beach, plenty of parking, elevators and stairs.

Great location

The property met our needs as far as rooms and space. It was nice to have 2 1/2 bathrooms seeing there were 6 of us. The porch area was nice also. Just a few things that could possibly be improved would be providing more cooking dishes. We usually cook several times when we are on vacation and there weren't many options for that. For example, we could only find one small square baking dish and one pizza pan. There wasn't anything else we could use when we made dinner that needed to be baked in the oven. A few more coffee cups would be beneficial also. It wasn't a problem for us because only 2 of us drank coffee, but since it sleeps 6, technically it could have been 6 adults that all drank coffee... I did like that there was a coffee pot and keurig. The only other thing I will say in regard to improvement would be the a/c. The bedrooms didn't get very cool. The weather was very hot when we went in general, so I'm sure that played a part, but our rooms were very hot at night, despite using the fans that were provided (that was a nice perk too because my whole family sleeps with a fan regardless of the temperature). We enjoyed our stay. It was a very short walk to the beach and easy to access. Also, a great location. Close enough to everything, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. Oh, and I also loved the book box! That is great feature on site at this property! Overall, it was a good stay.

Good but not the best ever

The location cannot be beat. Beach access was incredible. The unit however was a bit untidy when we arrived (some leftover trash from previous guests). Also, the big issue was ZERO Wi-Fi for our entire stay, and I was with three teenage girls. I called Vacasa and they did come out but the issue was never fixed or resolved after the first visit. There is strangely no router at all in the unit to troubleshoot. I asked neighbors and none of them appeared to have a Wi-Fi issue so it appears limited to this unit. I had planned on partially working on this vacation so I had to make a trip to Starbucks every day to accomplish this - highly inconvenient!!!!! Also, the hot water lasted about 3 minutes, even for the first shower. The screened porch was not a favorite as it didn't allow for an unobstructed view of the ocean. I've stayed at multiple vacasa rentals and am normally very impressed, but this unit left something to be desired. Like I said though, the location is unmatched and the overall building had nice folks and was very quiet at night. The beach itself was safe and uncrowded so good for families. I would recommend a stay here except the Wi-Fi situation absolutely needs to be resolved, otherwise just state that it is not available so folks can make other plans. Still love Vacasa!

A quick getaway

This house was perfect for us and kids. It was on the beach with quick access and the view was beautiful. The main balcony had a table + chairs and was screened in so you could leave door open. There were a few blinds missing/one laying behind chair. The main bedroom’s balcony was not really one to relax on or even stand on; however, it was nice to have open. There was an extra door but no screen- which could have been damaged by hurricane a week before our stay. Lots of utensils, cookware and plates. Shower pressure was good. One bathroom had a tub. There was an ice maker in freezer, and two coffee options- a keurig and a coffee pot. One bathroom was missing toilet paper but travel shampoo and conditioner were available in each bathroom. I’d recommend bringing hand soap and extra toilet paper. There was a palmetto bug in our closet the first night but we didn’t see anything the rest of the trip. Two smaller rooms had a TV with Roku and guest access to many apps. The main bedroom and living room TV both had cable. We called a few times and put in “tickets” to have cable fixed as it didn’t work but no one reached out although we were told we would get a call. Typically not a big deal but college football Saturday (toggling between beach and game)… Annie’s (bar w/love music) was right on the beach and fun with kids, and Flip Flops had great food and a market to shop. All within walking distance. We would definitely recommend and plan on staying again.

Nice View & Location but......

Condo is very nice and love the location. Only issues we had were we got stuck in the condo because the door got stuck and had to get fixed so that we could get out. Condo was not very clean, sheets were dirty and hair all over the bathroom and on floor. Did not have enough toilet paper, laundry detergent, paper towels, or trash bags. Its like they never cleaned from the last people who stayed. Other than that condo was nice and looked like the pictures. Would definitely stay again, But I would just make sure I bring my own cleaning supplies and extra supplies for the home.

Great place! This area is our favorite!

Perfect place to unwind and relax. Had some difficulty figuring out the lock, but once we did it worked great. Had issues with the tv in the living room, but everything else was great! This is our favorite area to visit!

Awesome stay!

The view and water pressure were excellent. Just a 2 min walk from being on the beach, 1 min walk from the pool. Highly recommend!

If I could give 0 stars.. I would.

let me just start off by saying the pictures are way better than the property itself. It was kind of a nightmare to the start of our vacation. we checked in and immediately we could see that this place was very poorly cleaned. it started off with noticing food left behind on the dining table, sand all over the rugs (like stick to your feet full of sand), and food crumbs on the floor. This followed by our toilet being clogged with someone else’s crap.. literally! the other bathroom had poop splatters on the toilet, there was no toilet paper, dirty left over towels hanging behind the bathroom door and wait for it… A FINGERNAIL THE SIZE OF TEXAS on the night stand. we immediately tried contacting the property management company (Vacasa) through their messaging system. with it being a Saturday night no one got back to us but they did say someone would call first think in the morning, unfortunately we had to stick it out for the night. The next day we immediately left the property to get a hotel because there was actually no way on this green earth we would be staying any longer. we didn’t hear back from Vacasa and it was noon so we called them. It took 5 different people and a whole lot of ring around for them to tell us that the property had been inspected personally by the local manager before we checked in and there was nothing they could do about it.. HA funny right! Luckily it only took our hundreds of pictures to prove that there was absolutely no way that anyone inspected this property or even cleaned the property so they somewhat fixed the issue. Overall would not recommend this property or having to deal with Vacasa to my worst enemy.

Great place

What a great location and house. Could not ask for a better place we will stay here more often. Only issue is the water pressure in shower and the knob to change temperature in shower.
