This place was a gem - it was clean, had everything we needed, location was perfect (walking distance to/from train, restaurants, market, bus and the views are spectacular ! We will definitely be back !

If you're looking for a luxury apartment this is not it. This is a wonderful apartment in a location and with a view that is so much more than Luxury. The only gap is there wasn't a saltshaker. But there was like 3 or 4 kinds of pepper and some really cool spices that I played with. That is just how perfect it was. Falling asleep to the sound of the river on a very comfortable bed was wonderful. Be careful of the shower door and to close the door quietly turn the handle and pull. It took me a while to figure that out.

Clean, modern and a spectacular view.

Clean and modern apartment with cleaning possibilities, a sauna, ski equipment storage and a fantastic view over the church and waterfall.

Everything you need and a fantastic view

Well equipped kitchen- view from the terrace incredible. Easy access to the bus stop and transportation connections. Easy morning strolls through the valley. Owner is very responsive and helpful. We would love to return.

Lauterbrunnen Visit

This was one of the most comfortable places I have stayed in terms of a short term rental. We had everything we needed. The view from the balcony is stunning. We were able to eat breakfast outside every morning, and the sound of the creek below us was soothing. Great spot for a quiet group who want to be away from the crowds. Wonderful property owner who was easy to communicate with. We had a wonderful stay.

Beautiful Location

We loved staying at this place. It was a great location and beautiful scenery all around. We stayed with 2 small children so the bathroom was a little small for bathing and changing. But overall we were very satisfied. The owned was very responsive and easy to communicate with. It had everything we needed! I would definitely recommend.

Excellent condo, perfectly located

This was a comfortable, cozy, clean condo with many convenient amenities. It was perfectly located within Lauterbrunnen and the perfect base for hiking in the Bernese Oberland. The view of the waterfalls and mountains is fantastic. We appreciated the access to a washer and dryer on a 24/7 basis, which seems to be uncommon in the area. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. We hope to be back in the not too distant future.

Fantastic homebase for adventuring in Lauterbrunnen area

Amazingly located apartment just off the main drag in Lauterbrunnen. Super clean and organized. Well stocked kitchen. Easy check in. Convenient and free laundry on lower level along with spa. Very comfortable beds. Covered parking. Probably one of the best views in town from the back porch. Quiet. Waterfalls, trickling water, church bells, magical cliffs and looming mountains. This place really has it all and our family LOVED it. Easy walk to everything in the area: funiculars and gondolas, groceries, dining, waterfalls, valley stroll. You can’t go wrong with this space for adventuring in the area. Thanks for the dreamy stay!!

Gorgeous view from the balcony, dining table and bedroom. You have a rushing stream below, a covered bridge and Staubbach Falls in front of you. The church clock tower to your left with the village amongst the hillside. To your right you have snow capped mountains. Central location within the valley to ride the train to Jungraujoch — Top of Europe and take a lift up to the Schilthorn. So serene too. Easy to get around. Nice table and chairs to relax on the balcony in either sun or shade. Beds were comfortable. Washer and dryer was extremely nice to have available. Great host. Smooth checkin / checkout. And the bus stops right out front to easily get around if needed. Would definitely stay again. Communication excellent.

Off the beaten path

The back porch faced the notorious Staubbachfall waterfall. Great morning and evening views. There was a small creek below us. The location of the property from the bus stop is a little confusing. A more detailed direction from the bus stop would help. You can’t see the property unless you walk right to it. We enjoyed the house and stay though. But Lauterbrunnen is so packed, it’s not even easy to walk down the street. That’s the only negative experience I had.

Thankyou Weston that you enjoyed your stay. Sorry that the directions from the bus stop 50 meters onwards in the direction of the bus were not clear. I will think of another way to describe it. And Yes summer is a great time to visit the Tolkien-like valley with its rushing waters. The Locals also get a bit weary of people walking through their gardens trying to get the perfect Instagram since Lauterbrunnen has become an 'Insta Hotspot'. Now the Korean series 'Crash Landing on you' also promotes the iconic places of Eiger Glacier and Grindelwald First. But be assured the local council will not barricade the view like in the Japanese town of Fujikawaguchiko where a giant black net has been put up to block views of Mount Fuji. There are many quiet and stunning walks at the Stechelberg end of the valley where you can get closer to the 300m high Staldenbach waterfall that has been painted by several famous artists that you can also see from the balcony.

Great location and well equipped

My wife and I really enjoyed waking up to the amazing waterfall and valley view every morning. An easy walk to the train station and to several hiking paths which access the surrounding mountain towns. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to make any sort of meal we wanted and we appreciated the selection of spices, tea, and hot chocolate supplied. The large selection of movies loaded onto the TV was a nice touch for those days where the weather wasn't cooperating!

Great stay, super helpful owner

One of our best homeaway stays so far, the apartment was clearly loved and well-stocked with even more than just the basics of what we needed. Kids loved the games and movies available at the home and it is in an ideal location with public transport for easy access to ski areas and amenities. Highly recommend this home.
