En el centro del país de la guerra civil! Gettysburg, Sharpsburg, Antietam, Federico y Monocacy campos de batalla. Antigüedades, golf, tiendas de venta directa. If you are looking for seclusion this is the cabin for you!! Absolutely love the screened-in porch, listening to the creek and birds. Plenty of opportunity for walks up & down the lane and nearby parks etc. Very dog friendly. Have visited this cabin for several yrs. and made great memories w/grandchildren, they enjoyed playing in the creek. Hope to return yearly. Thanks for sharing this slice of "Heaven". Heidi & Greg

A wonderful place to go and unwind. I truly enjoyed sitting on the porch listening to the creek. The cabin is clean and the kitchen is fully stocked. Truly a relaxing place to go. We will definitely be coming back. Just love this place.

Loved it! Great spot, where our dogs (and kids) could run around off leash. Close to national parks, including Gettysburg battlefield. Relaxing and calm ambiance. Hosts are kind and friendly.

It was a classic rustic cabin with huge stone fire place in a secluded location that was easily accessible and close to many attractions. Comfortable and well equipped.

The property was AMAZING! It felt like our own little slice of heaven! Unfortunately the weather was less than ideal, especially for outdoor enthusiasts, but thank goodness for the smart TV! The beds and furniture were all very comfortable. The place was clean. The screened in porch was perfect for the cold and rain. The two dogs my friend and I brought had such a blast exploring the trails and playing in the creek. The privacy and seclusion were top notch and afforded our dog to be offleash the enture weekend on the property. The dogs are already begging us to book another visit here!Thanks so much Daniel and Deb for your hospitality and for fielding our phone call at 11pm on Saturday when we managed to lock ourselves out on the patio without have the phone that had all the info on it outside with us.We look forward to another visit!

We’ve stayed at this cabin several times now and always had a great time. The house is clean and comfortable with a great fireplace. Although there had been significant snow in the area, the road up to the cabin was well kept and clear. We appreciated the welcoming communication from the hosts as well. This is a wonderful remote area with very little traffic. Very peaceful.

Loved exploring the woods and trails around the cabin! Amazing location. Close to Gettysburg. This cabin has everything you need to make you feel like your at home. My kids can't wait to come back!

The location is private and very peaceful. We stayed for 4 nights. We needed a place that was close to Springfield Manor as our niece was getting married there. We also needed a place that would accommodate our 80 lb yellow lab. This little cabin was absolutely perfect ! The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, utensils, dishes, some spices and a regular coffee maker with filters rather than a Keurig which we really appreciated. Everything was very clean comfortable.There is an outdoor fire ring behind the cabin and wood is provided. They also had three lawn chairs for that area. We brought our own because we weren't expecting they would proved any. We didn't spend as much time at the cabin as we would have liked because of the all the family events we had to attend. We would love to go back again for a longer stay and take advantage of some of the hiking the area has to offer and just relax at the cabin.

This cabin was exactly what we were looking for! We wanted a rustic cabin in the woods with a fireplace and fire pit! The area was serene and beautiful. It was also great that we got to bring our dogs! The hosts were responsive and very nice!

This is a wonderful, clean, comfortable cabin in a nicely remote area with little traffic. At the same time, it is not too far from main roads and is pretty easy to access. The owners live nearby and are friendly and helpful. Warm fireplace, comfy couch, and gorgeous outdoor hangout spaces, including a screen porch. Great place to come and relax for a few days.

Dan & I have always loved the outdoors, especially the forests. So, when he found this property, it was like it was destined for us to live here. & here we are, 15 years later, still enjoying our little piece of Heaven. Lots of upkeep & work I grant you; but well worth all of our efforts!!

When we purchased the property, there was this little weekend cabin placed on the second parcel. Dan & I lived there while building our home for when he decides to retire. If ever!

Some years ago, we decided to share the cabin & the quiet & solitude that we enjoy so much. Plenty of wildlife & birds to observe. The sounds of the creek alone are enough to make the tension disappear. It's just a peaceful place to kick back & enjoy yourself or a good book or reconnect with family or each other. In this hectic life we live, nowadays, it's nice to know there is a quiet little place to escape to Revuenate, relax or take a much needed walk in the woods.
