Located 5 minutes to Liberty Mountain Resort and 7 minutes to the Gettysburg Battlefields.  It's the perfect central location!
The Battlefield, golf courses, skiing, snowboarding, breweries, & wineries will definitely keep you busy! Or just kick back & relax and enjoy all The Dog House has to offer!

This cute home has 5 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Plenty of space for large groups! The backyard is fully fenced in to give you peace of mind if you have small children or pets with you. Kids can enjoy the swing set and all guests can enjoy yard games, the BBQ and the fire pit!

The inside of the house has plenty to offer as well! A fully stocked kitchen and coffee bar, TV's in every room (except the laundry room) with access to live TV and multiple streaming apps (Hulu, Netflix, MAX, PrimeVideo, Disney+, ESPN+, Peacock Premium, Youtube) and fun games for the whole family to enjoy!
There is a little doggy diner in the kitchen with a food and water bowl as well as some treats...and possibly some toys courtesy of my pup Trisha Yearwoof! A dog bed and crate for medium to large dogs is available and you can move to any place in the house you'd like.

Fantastic location just 10 minutes outside of downtown Gettysburg. The property truly felt like a bed & breakfast, just shy of having a cook onsite. Kayla provided all the necessities and even included extra items to accommodate our stay. Little things like a coffee pods, ground coffee, flossers, cotton swaps, toothbrushes, razors were included. The rooms were clean and tidy. The yard is well kept.Perfect getaway for families traveling with dogs and children.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The house was exactly as it was described in the listing, and the owner truly went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was very well equipped, and there were so many little things provided that made our stay that much easier.The yard was fantastic for our dog, with plenty of space to run and play, and the owner even provided everything we needed to help keep the property clean. That was a huge plus for us as pet owners.The kids also had plenty to keep them entertained, and we really enjoyed being able to spend time outside together. The outdoor space was great for relaxing, hanging out, and making the most of our time at the house.Overall, the property was clean, comfortable, well-equipped, and felt like a true home away from home. We really appreciated the thought and effort the owner put into making the stay enjoyable. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

Amazing stay in Gettysburg

Our family, including 2 kids and 2 dogs, immensely enjoyed our stay at the Dog House! We loved all of the doggie decor and the fenced in yard for the pups and kids to play. The owner responded promptly to any questions and made the stay truly memorable. We would highly recommend the Dog House to anyone visiting Gettysburg!

Great stay

The house really makes the most of what it has. My friends and I had a great stay and enjoyed all the amenities provided. Kayla was a very thoughtful and communicative host and we would certainly return. Very convenient to Liberty Mountain, the battlefield and the town!

Everything at the Dog House was great. Kayla has the house well-stocked with essentials and extras that show she really cares about your stay. We had a blast this weekend and would certainly stay here again.

Short family trip

We had to make a short family trip for a solemn event. This property was perfect. We have stayed at different properties before and this has to be the best equipped I've stayed at. Kayla had provided everything we could have needed. I would definitely stay here again

If your looking for a get away in Gettysburg or a place to bring friends together for a wedding like we did, this is THE spot! Book it now! The house was super clean and spacious! The back yard games and fire pit were great! Would 100% stay again.

Great house

Very well stocked property. Kayla was very responsive and when the power went out and we had no water, she brought some bottles over for us. Would recommend.

Best place to stay!

Quiet, relaxing, clean, easy accessible traveling, host very pleasant, loved the covered back porch, always checking to see if everything was okay. Our two dogs loved the house, playing in backyard, there was toys available for them and treats. 10 out of 10 Highly recommendable. Would come back.

Very thoughtful host

We were very impressed by the set up and how thoughtful the host was with every aspect of the house. From the Bluetooth speaker to go along with lawn games to the fun welcome snacks and mini s’more kit for the fire pit to the bathroom supplies. Loved our stay and the cute porch area!

Clean and Well Decorated

House was very clean and decorated just perfect. The host thought of every detail and communicated with us throughout the stay. The kids loved the fenced in back yard and playset. Will be back again.

Snow trip

This property was exactly as described. It is immaculately clean, comfortable, and roomy with great space for all, including the dogs. It is well stocked with anything a traveler might need and everything in the house works perfectly. The location is ideal. Kayla was extremely easy to communicate with and welcoming and provided a wealth of detailed information. This is by far the best place we've ever stayed!

As soon as I saw the listing we immediately booked. Check in was easy, place is beautiful. More than we could’ve asked for for our girls weekend. Kayla is a wonderful host and literally thought of anything and everything you may need during your stay. This place was amazing and so beautifully decorated we loved the aesthetic. Will definitely be booking again for my next trip back to PA.

Great House Considerate Hosts

I went away with a guys trip in Gettysburg. Even a house full of dudes were very impressed with the consideration of the owners. They left snacks, the house was stocked with toiletries, towels, soap. Communication was on point. It was a very nice stay.

WOW this place was awesome

Kayla goes above and beyond in making her guests feel at home. Her attention to the details blew our minds. From the basket of goodies to mints, and glossers in the bathrooms to the coffee nook, made our stay so much better. Sitting by the fire eating s’mores, and lights on the fence around us was a great way to finish our day’s of activities. I would recommend Kayla’s dog house without hesitation.

Amazing

The amenities provided were above and beyond. Lots of comfortable beds, soft bedding and anything else you need. 10 minutes from the historic part of town. Our pug enjoyed running in the yard. We did have to watch him, the fence had some small holes. We will definitely stay again on our next trip.

I grew up in the Gettysburg area, but was living in Los Angeles and New York for the past 10 years. I decided that I wanted to give my yellow lab Trisha the yard she'd always deserved, so I moved back home in the spring of 2021.  Living in the city truly makes you appreciate the small town way of life and I hope when you visit you'll be able to feel that difference.

Trisha is a 8 year old Labrador and she enjoys: tennis balls thrown from a nerf launcher and ONLY the nerf launcher, bacon, the beach, puddles, mud, water of any kind really, treatos, cucumbers, her cousins, Aunts & Uncles, Nonna & PopPop, and LAMBCHOP aka Lamby.
Trisha does not enjoy: Squirrels & nail trims
