OMG loved it

Stayed for 2 weeks for work. Phenomenal place. Back deck and yard are amazing, right on the lake facing due west for the sunsets. I had one or two minor problems and the host was quick and efficient with the response. Only complaint is where they keep the kitchen garbage can! Can not recommend highly enough.

The house was in a great location and the check in process was easy. The host accommodated an early check in which was much appreciated! Unfortunately, the house was dirty with dog hair, dust, and unclean dishes/cookware. There were a few other minor issues as well including rips in and stains on sheets, and a slow release cleansing tablet for the hot tub dropped directly into water instead of a feeder, causing us to be unable to utilize it. We attempted to contact the host just as a heads up of our experience for his awareness in order to make improvements for the next guests. His response was defensive, dishonest, and put the blame on us for not contacting him immediately, even though there is nothing that could be done about those issues mid-stay. When i followed up to clarify our intention and concerns, he never responded back. Overall, a good place but i would not stay here again and would recommend choosing another place if you’re between multiple options.

This was our honeymoon and it was ruined by this unsafe, filthy, misrepresented property. My husband sank in the host’s kayak in the middle of the lake — both kayaks were missing plugs. We have photos and a witness. We are experienced kayakers and have never sunk anywhere else. The host blamed us instead of apologizing. God forbid it had been a child.The house was disgusting: dog hair everywhere (despite “no pets”), urine-stained carpets, feces around the firepit, pills on the floor, clogged AC full of pet hair, filthy washer/dryer with a moldy smell and even a fungus-covered towel. The shower was backed up with standing water, linens and towels were stained, and outdoor cushions were filthy. Clearly no proper cleaning service.False advertising: propane grill didn’t work, streaming apps “included” but logged out, boathouse pictured but locked, no games or supplies. Deck was half-finished with missing caution tape — extremely dangerous, especially for kids. Ramp from driveway was unsafe and unlit.The host’s response was rude and hostile, just like other reviews warned. There’s even a sign inside saying “excuse my loose interpretation of clean,” which sums it up. Unsafe, unsanitary, and unhelpful host. Avoid this property.

Beautiful location, needs a cleaning

We enjoyed our weekend at Scott’s lake house, however there were some things left to be desired. The largest issue was really cleanliness. There was dust on most surfaces, and almost every dish had to be cleaned upon removal from the cupboard—we found hair stuck to multiple utensils and caked on grime to the pots and pans. It was clear that the property is not professionally cleaned on any kind of regular basis. The views from the porch and dock are beautiful, and the hot tub is very nice. We were disappointed that one of the Adirondack chairs were broken, and the outdoor furniture was also dirty, including the grill (probably just needs to be hosed down for the season). The couch and the window seat cushions are also quite stained, which did not make it feel inviting for sitting and relaxing. The beds are also uncomfortable. As I said, the views are beautiful and we had a great weekend, however this stay did not make us want to return to this particular property.

Our guests stayed for a week without any communication of a single issue. In fact, the only thing we heard was "your lakehouse is beautiful and we are enjoying ourselves immensely". After checkout, they informed us that they damaged property, but should be held accountable because they had noticed several issues on the last day. They threatened us that they would give us negative feedback unless we gave them a discount. We immediately checked on the issues and found that not one was legitimate. We have 5 star reviews across the border with VRBO and are a superhost on others sites. Our cleanliness is always mentioned. I just don't think it's fair to use feedback as leverage when a guest damages property and doesn't want to be held accountable.

Amazing spot

We loved the deck and fireplace. The kiddos ran back and forth from the lake to the hot tub. Grill is gigantic and helped feed everyone at once. We had a wonderful stay and recommend this property to those who want space to spread out and enjoy the natural beauty of this location with friends and family.

Perfect Family Spot

We had a great time at this property!! The outdoor set up and walk-in entry to the lake was perfect for small children. The house itself more than served our needs. We enjoyed perfect weather for a week-long family vacation. We hope to be able to book this property again next year!

Conesus Lake House

We had a wonderful stay at the Lake House. The layout is conducive to family fun and the multi-tiered deck (though in need of spring cleaning and some maintenance) is perfect for outdoor relaxation and watching spectacular sunsets over the lake. The kitchen is well-appointed and had all the utensils we needed. Everbody appreciated the large rain shower in the master bath. Summertime would surely be bliss.

Great location

Great location for our Winter getaway. Close to great hiking at Stonybrook and Letchworth. This house was great for relaxing after our hiking excursions. Property owners were very cordial and responsive to all of our questions.

Great for our long girls' weekend away

There were about 6 of us girls that stayed here for a long weekend in October and had a wonderful time. Communication with Scott and the entire check-in process was so smooth and easy. The outdoor deck area and hot tub were both wonderful. Also having access to the kayaks was a nice additional touch and something our group definitely took advantage of. Inside the house has a large seating area around the TV that was great as well. It allowed for our group to comfortably all watch movies together when the weather outside wasn't as nice. The master bath and shower have been remodeled and are very nice as well. I will warn that the outdoor firepit isn't really so much a firepit as a mound of dirt to lay logs upon and burn. Because of that and the rainy weather we didn't really utilize it as much as we were hoping, but having the gas firepit up on the deck level was a great alternative and really lovely. We also utilized the grill on a couple occasions and it was really nice to have. Overall, we had a lovely time at this property and appreciated the communication throughout the whole process with the owners.

Absolutely lovely!

This beautiful lake home did not disappoint! So pretty. Great space. (a bit more room inside than I expected) Beautifully decorated. Perfect location. Fantastic lake frontage & outdoor area. The owner was very attentive with any questions I had. I suggest bringing bedroom fans if you rent while it’s hot. Other than food, drinks, & toiletries… it had everything else we needed. I definitely brought too much stuff. Highly recommend.

The inside of the house was beautiful. Everything was as expected and clean and state of the art updated technology beautiful bathroom. However the outdoors is very unkempt- chairs and property area dirty and deck needs painting - the roof needs to be replaced and awning is bad - the couch cushions were disgusting and so are the chairs. There is a lot of debris all around and unswept. The kayaks were filthy. Indoors gets a 9 (mattresses and pillows need updating) outdoors gets a two.

Amazing location

The house was amazing and it was exactly what we were looking for. It had a very home like vibe and the amenities were great. The deck and and lake view were spectacular. Scott was also very prompt in answering any questions we had. Highly recommended !!

The house was beautiful! Communication was great with the owners, making for a seamless check in and check out experience. There were quite a few amenities included inside and out for a very enjoyable stay.
