Picturing the perfect, private cabin getaway in the Texas Hill Country? Does that vision include miles and miles of Hill Country views and private access to a year-round creek? How about your own private hot tub on your huge back deck? If your dream list also includes luxurious decor, spacious whirlpool bath, separate shower, full kitchen and more....then you have just found your dream escape!
Hilltop Hideaway on Spring Creek is a relaxing, romantic retreat sure to put you in a peaceful state of mind. Even though the cabin is located only 10 minutes or so from Fredericksburg's famed shops and restaurants, you will feel as if you are in another world. As you enter the property you will first be enchanted by the lovely landscaping. Your attention will be drawn immediately, however, to the unbelievable panoramic views. You'll see miles and miles of Texas!
As you step into the cabin you will appreciate the open, spacious floor plan. The combination space offers a beautiful king size bed with luxurious linens as well as a comfortable sitting area. From either area you can enjoy the 37" high definition flat screen television. This space opens into the full kitchen, perfect for putting together a quick meal. Or step out onto the fabulous deck and grill some steaks on the infrared gas grill.
Guests also enjoy a huge bathroom with an oversized whirlpool bath tub and separate shower. You will also appreciate the washer and dryer set, making the cabin ideal for longer stays. As a guest of Hilltop Hideaway located just outside of Fredericksburg, Texas you are sure to enjoy the best of country living with big city amenities.

​​​​​​​Please Note: You are renting a cabin in the Hill Country which means you may encounter wildlife (Snakes, Deer, Racoons, ETC) Please be aware of your surroundings, and take caution while driving at night. You may also encounter the various bugs, spiders, scorpions and mice that live in the country AND sometimes do make their way inside. All properties do utilize pest control services on a regular basis BUT this does not guarantee no pests or bugs will not be visible.

We loved our stay!

We enjoyed our stay and relaxed. It was very peaceful and quiet, and the amazing county view was awesome. The service on the Tv was not good and the water on the jacuzzi had a bad smell. Other than that, we will be returning soon.

This location was just as described. The furnishings were rustic and lovely. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed for us to cook a couple of meals. We enjoyed the hot tub and sitting on the deck looking at the deer that often grazed in the field. Fredericksburg was just a few miles away. We had fun shopping, taking a wine tour, cow cuddling, and eating at the restaurants. We would book this again!

Highly recommend!

My spouse and I stayed here for our anniversary and we couldn’t have picked a better spot. The cabin was secluded and had a beautiful view! Close to town for shopping and dining while still enjoying plenty of privacy.

Excellent Fredericksburg Experience

Our stay at Hilltop Hideaway was a wonderful experience. The cabin was clean and inviting. We were able to relax on the back porch with enjoying the beautiful scenery. Will definitely book again at Hilltop Hideaway in the future.

Wonderful Stay!

We really enjoyed our quiet and relaxing weekend getaway! The attention to small details at check in really set a wonderful tone for the trip. The welcome package included muffins and cheese and fruit really made us feel at home. The stay was wonderful and would recommend staying here to everyone!

We loved our stay!

Enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Enjoyed the back porch with the beautiful views of the countryside and deer. There was plenty of room inside to relax either on the couch or cushioned chair. Bathroom was large too. Owners were mindful and considerate of what is required for an enjoyable stay, from the furnishings, wi-fi, kitchen appliances and utensils.

Fantastic!

Loved this cabin! The hot tub and the place were the best! All nice touches with the wine and the bath bombs available! The only thing I'll suggest is recommending to folks to give a pre-flush to the jacuzzi tub inside because we had a stingy friend come out when I flushed it before use. Not unexpected in these neck of the woods! We enjoyed this little slice of heaven!

Fantastic!

Loved this cabin! The hot tub and the place were the best! All nice touches with the wine and the bath bombs available! Wonderful!

Everything was great. It is the perfect distance from downtown Fredericksburg without being right in the middle of the crowd. Beautiful backroads drive to peace. The house is easy to navigate (okay, there are a lot of lighting options that take some practice, lol). The closet/laundry is the perfect way to keep your luggage organized and your living area tidy. The bed is THE most luxuriously comfortable I've ever experienced! The pre-stay communication made the whole process easy.

My girlfriend and I had the best time in this wonderful cabin. It was amazing we were looking for a get away together where we could spend qualities time together with no outside interruptions. This cabin gave us that and more. I think it helped us in being able to move forward in our relationship to the next levels. We absolutely we hardly left the cabin. It was an amazing place to stay. Very luxurious and all the amenities alone with great views of the Texas hill country and wildlife that comes with it. I will be recommending this place to anyone and everyone that is looking for that perfect place to get away.

Cabin is Amazing

Bill is the absolute best host! We had a great time. We were able to see a clear sky at night for the meteor shower. The hummingbirds are amazing. It's so quiet and peaceful here. We will absolutely be returning. All the details were perfect. We had a minor issue that was mediated quickly with no issues and that made the experience so much more worth it. There were baked goods waiting and Texas Lone Star in the fridge upon arrival. It's far enough outside of town to make it feel like a world away. The hot tub on the back patio was a nice touch. We'll be returning soon. Extra: we saw some really cute mini horses and some cows as well as a doe and her baby eating grass.

Perfect couples getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our little hilltop gem with amazing views! Loved watching the wildlife! Deer, ponies, cows, calves, donkey, dog and even saw a fox! Bring your binoculars! We even walked down to the stream and sat on the bench taking in even more views! The cabin was cozy sparkling with unique charm! Very roomy and well stocked with all of the necessities needed for home! We celebrated our 45th anniversary in the hilltop hideaway! Soaking in the hot tub on the deck at night watching the amazing stars and moon! Even had a partial eclipse one night that the owner Bill graciously made us aware of! Made use of the whirlpool tub each day with very fragrant bath bombs that were provided!! So clean & relaxing! We did visit several wineries and breweries in the area as well as several state parks. Nature at its best! The owner Bill was so kind to stop by to meet us and bring us the best cinnamon rolls we have ever eaten! The kitchen is well stocked with snacks and seasonings and keurig coffee pods too! This was the perfect couple getaway! The most memorable anniversary we have ever had! Thank you Bill! You are such a kind and generous soul! We can tell how much hilltop hideaway means to you and the time we spent there was amazing! We could feel the specialness! We will definitely be back!!

Great Vacation!

We absolutely loved it there! Everything was so clean and put together. There was coffee, sweetener, AND creamer! A few bath bombs, a ton of candy and snacks, hot tub was AMAZING, the view is great! We had plenty of towels and toiletries. Everything was perfect. It was very easy to find and only about 15-20 min from Main Street. We will definitely be back and we will be recommending to all of our friends and family! Again, thank you so much!!

Romantic, secluded perfection

We stayed here for our 20th wedding anniversary in early December & we couldn’t have been happier. This cabin is everything! If you’re looking to get away from it all & just spend time together, honestly this cabin has it all. And if you need anything or want to go to dinner, it has that too, just a short drive away. Everything about it is downright romantic & the only thing we didn’t like was the fact we had to leave & go home. We stayed here to visit Fredericksburg, which was a cute town, but honestly when we come back next time, it will be solely to stay & enjoy this cabin! The stars at night are downright magical, so be sure to step outside at night & enjoy that!
