We booked this condo last minute specifically to get away for Christmas and spend time relaxing, enjoying the fireplace, and being together. Unfortunately, the unit we received made that impossible.The listing photos did not match the actual condo. It appears some units are updated; ours was not. We were placed in a basement-level unit with windows facing the ground, resulting in almost no natural light and a dark, uninviting space.Cleanliness was unacceptable. The unit was dirty upon arrival, and both shower drains were completely clogged with hair and debris. After being unable to reach anyone for help, my husband had to unclog them himself.The carpets were filthy despite signs instructing guests to remove shoes. Bedding, towels, pillows, sheets, and mattresses were extremely worn and uncomfortable. The sheets were scratchy, and the mattresses were very poor quality.The fireplace was a major disappointment. No fire starter or matches were provided, and when used, smoke filled the unit instead of venting properly. This is not user error—we know how to operate a fireplace. The issue appears mechanical and should be addressed for safety.Sleep was nearly impossible. The master bedroom shared a wall with a loud furnace that ran every 10–15 minutes, and road and upstairs noise were constant due to poor insulation.We were also overcharged and are still resolving it.This stay took away from what was supposed to be a meaningful Christmas getaway. I would not recommend.
