Charming rural home on 3 acres of beautiful Pennsylvania countryside in Danville, less than 10 minutes from town center. Enjoy the peace and quiet of rural living with the convenience of local restaurants and other attractions just a short drive away, including Knoebels Amusement Resort, located 25 min south in Elysburg. Don't be surprised if you see some wildlife on or around the property. Our kids loved catching fireflies on the front lawn at dusk in the summer time, taking walks to Mahoning Creek just a mile down the road and sledding down the hill out back in the winter. Whether you are just passing through town, visiting family or looking for a relaxing place to unwind for a few days, our newly renovated country home will meet your needs. No animals allowed. Enjoy your stay!

First morning I walked out the kitchen side door and got stung in the head by a wasp, luckily I'm not allergic to them. Good thing you had wasp spray in the garage. The pool area and side deck are in need of repair/clean up. Ran out of tp, napkins and garbage bags, first time ever while staying at a Vrbo property. A few of the kitchen lights were not working properly. Overall had a good time with the family and wedding we went to.

Good for Knoebel's visit.

This is a rustic style house with slightly dated furnishings. Access to the main floor requires climbing stairs. The "downstairs" bedroom is actually in the basment, but it is clean, fresh and has a toilet, sink and shower. Both bathrooms are very well stocked except for toilet paper. We found out the host supplies 2 rolls per bathroom and there are no extras.The kitchen was well stocked and had sufficient utensils, dinnerware, cookware and appliances. The television and wifi worked well and between the kitchen and living room there was enough room for 6 adults and 3 children under 5 years old.

Great place for a family and extended family to stay togther

Perfect location for our daughter's graduation from Bloomsburg. Close to the school but not in the craziness of graduation parties. More than enough beds and room for all to be comfortable.

Weekend getaway

Our family stayed for the weekend and had a great time! The property is beautiful, the house is so clean, and we had everything we needed. We played games together, sat outside on the porch, and looked at the starts. We will definitely come back!

Nice Place Close to Town

3 dads and 3 sons stayed here while we attending the Little League World Series in Williamsport. The place had everything we needed (plenty of garbage bags, toiletries, paper towels, etc.) which is nice so we didn't have to go buy it! Only 8 minutes from town. Was perfect layout to put the boys downstairs and the adults upstairs! Highly recommend.

Everything you need!

The house has everything you need for yoir stay and is a comfortable getaway. Excellent host communication leading up to the stay! I will say that the check-out instructions indicated that someone would meet me there to handle the check-out process, but that did not happen, so be sure to clarify check-out procedure earlier! Summer memories

Enjoyed another wonderful stay! The house was the perfect place to unwind after enjoying summer adventures and memories with family and friends in the Danville area. We enjoyed the quiet and beautiful surroundings on the property. Everything inside was neat as a pin and well-stocked.

Perfect getaway in eastern Pennsylvania

We rented the house for our weekend at nearby Knoebels Amusement Park. It was clean and spacious. The outdoor pool was a perfect compliment for the beautiful surroundings. The house was well stocked with supplies. I am already looking forward to my return trip.

Nice centrally located home in the country

It was a perfect location for meeting with my son & his family from GA as well as meeting up with local siblings in the area. Enjoyed the bluebirds, rabbits and deer as well as seeing Amish horse & buggies on the road. This part of PA is so beautiful. The home was very clean and well furnished.

Cozy home that made our Mountain Bike group comfortable after riding Danville trails.

Our group of mountain bike coaches stayed in this house for our annual Pennsylvania Interscholastic Cycling League retreat. The house was great for our needs. We rode all day on the Danville area trails and made dinner each night. The kitchen was great for cooking. Beds were comfy. Thanks for allowing us to stay!

Wonderful winter stay

The lodgings were immaculate upon arrival. The inside is very spacious and had every amenity for a comfortable winter stay. Great for groups. Outside had a large area to run and play with our dogs in the snow. The driveway and entryway were cleared and salted by a contractor immediately after a heavy overnight snowfall. The property manager was communicative and friendly. Zero complaints!

Just a great spot

Place is super clean, quiet, really spacious with a lot of property, woods at the top of the hill. Food store and other stores/reataurants 10-15 minutes away. Had a great time.

We grew up in San Diego county, then lived in Minnesota for years until employment opportunities brought us to Danville, Pennsylvania. We raised our family (6 children) in this town and home and loved it. We love to travel more now and really enjoy staying in cared for homes as we travel instead of hotels, so when we grew out of this home we wanted to share it with others too.

We love the quiet wooded landscape and fresh air. We chose to raise our kids here in this wonderful small town and property that they could run around and explore.
