We had a wonderful stay at Suntower. This was our second visit. Chris the host communicated very well and there were no problems checking in or out. The home was very clean, the kitchen was well equipped and great for cooking, the hot tub was very nice. The setting is so peaceful, we were able to watch two beautiful sunrises from the porch. We used the propane fire pit on the porch and it was lovely. The location is great-close to Bloomsburg, close to Knoebels, an hour drive to Jim Thorpe for the scenic railway. We hope to make our visit to Suntower an annual family tradition.

Great family getaway with activities for all ages. The property is close to Knoebels but also provided plenty to do during our stay – hot tub and outdoor pavilion were the highlights. Chris provided clear, timely communication throughout and the house was clean and comfortable. Thanks for the amazing trip!

This was our first trip to Knoebels and I knew we needed a perfect spot to unwind and relax, away from the park. We pulled up and my younger son said "this is the greatest day of my life!" when he saw the disc golf basket, pavilion, fire pit, hot tub and house. Everything was so clean and the decor was spot on. The arcade games inside topped off the outdoor yard activities. We wish we had a whole day there to play. Next time! Thank you for being a great host and offering our home away from home.

Great place, quiet location

We were only able to stay for 2 nights but we'd love to go back for a longer stay! The house is very nice and comfortable, and the location is great. Quiet, scenic, remote, but only 15 minutes from Knoebels! Also conveniently close to Bloomsburg.

Anniversary Get Away

Five Stars Across the Board! Bring your hiking boots for the trails and bathing suits for the Hot Tub! What a beautiful spot on a secluded property with numerous marked hiking trails. Close enough to the town of Bloomsburg for shopping and dinners but far enough away for privacy. The owner, Chris, has organized the house/property instructions in a downable manual with a copy in the house. The hiking trails were available via the CalTopo app and physical trail markers ensured a marked path. The accommodations were very clean and well put together and organized. Beds were very comfortable with plenty of pillows, plenty of towels for the bathroom and a kitchen with all of cooking implements. A small propane fire pit on the porch allowed for a quiet evening even in the rain, and the hot tub was clean and at just the right temperature. Definitely plan to book future stays here. Thanks to Chris for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home.

Where Excellence & Relaxation Meet

My wife and I stayed here for the 1st time. We invited my father and his wife for the last 2 days. It is hard to believe that such a private gorgeous property exists so close to Bloomsburg. It is quiet, it is a beautiful cabin. Chris and his family take the time to add and think of the small things that stand out. The cabin/house is clean and very well planned in decor. The fire pit was a nightly hangout which is right outside on property. Plenty of of small trails to hike and see wildlife. No complaints at all, you get what is advertised and more! Ok, so 1 small confession is that they have a sit down arcade that showcases 60 games from the 80's- so of course Pac-Man and Donkey Kong, buttttt I fell in love with a war pilot game called 1943. It's the bomb lol - nice extra touch for entertainment, even for a 50 year old! Thanks for sharing your property Chris, job well done.

The suntower is exactly as described and shown and is a great property with trails for hikng, biking or exploring for all ages. Close to town and all area attractions. It was homey with all amenities ever needed and perfect to stay in any season!

Relaxing family getaway

My family of 7 enjoyed our time at Suntower while visiting Knoebels Amusement Park. Chris was easy to reach when I had questions, and acted quickly when the AC went out during our stay. He has since replaced the unit, so no worries. The chalet was quite welcoming and Chris goes above and beyond to make guests feel like its their home away from home. The chalet is modern & includes pretty much anything you need to cook etc. It's about 5 minutes from Dollar General & about 10 minutes from an assortment of grocery stores. We would definitely recommend it to friends & family.

Away from Home

We had a pleasant stay at the SunTower. It was off the beaten path so there was much privacy. Each morning we were greeted by a beautiful view and sunrise.

Perfect Getaway

I booked this weekend stay to spend some time with my Adult kids. The home was exactly as described, clean. Chris was very responsive to communication. Check in was a breeze. Chris doesn’t require a long list of check out chores, but we always try to leave the house as it was when we arrive. Unfortunately, we had extreme heat and severe overnight storms, so my intention for adventure was dimmed. No matter, though. The house provided the perfect oasis to just stay put and relax. The property itself provided for a nice morning hike. Views were great, too. I would recommend Chris’s Sun Tower.

Awesome Stay

I had a great experience at the Suntower Chalet. The house was very clean and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. I loved the decor and the hot tub was great to relax in after a day of hiking at Ricketts Glen. The checkout list was very short and reasonable. I would stay here again and recommend this property to friends.

Quick Getaway!

Chris has such a beautiful property! We had such a relaxing time just hanging out by the fire and in the hot tub! We were able go walk the property and explore what was on the 60 acres. We saw deer and all different types of birds. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the future!

My wife and two children love hosting guests and equally enjoy traveling to new places using short term rental services. We travel extensively and enjoy learning and interacting with other hosts to help us hone our skills. Our two boys aged 16 and 13 love to hang out among the 65 + acres and get creative with nature. We have a Christmas tree farm where we built this cabin to enjoy the great property it sits on. We come up to the farm to have wonderful family time and explore the area. We have lived in the area for about 15 years having moved from the North Carolina area. We absolutely love the quaint town and friendly atmosphere this place offers. We are an active family that enjoys nature and outdoor amenities. Some of the activities we enjoy include: hiking, mountain biking, skiing and just plain outdoor fun.

We built the Suntower at our tree farm to enjoy more time there. We took lots of time to make the cabin our own and are happy to share it with this wonderful community. This property is one of a kind and inspires many thoughts as you sit and relax in its wonderful spots.
