Continuamente estamos mejorando las casitas, el hogar y el espacio al aire libre. Nos encanta escuchar comentarios sobre lo que sería una adición genial, etc. Este año, comenzamos MOVIE NIGHT, con un proyector en el Bohio que puedes disfrutar desde sofás flotantes en la piscina o desde un cómodo asiento en el jardín. Disponemos de mesa de ping pong y todo tipo de juegos.

Esta es una propiedad privada con un encantador jardín grande lleno de plátanos, palmeras, colibríes, mariposas y otros árboles frutales, una hermosa piscina grande, hamacas y el Internet inalámbrico de mayor velocidad.

A sólo 3 cuadras antes de Coronado Hotel and Golf Club y sólo unas pocas cuadras de la playa. Esta propiedad está muy bien ubicada, muy hogareña. Esta es una casa panameña ... llena de amor y alma y un ambiente divertido y amigable que no tiene paralelo en el área. Las casitas totalmente equipadas también ofrecen privacidad para los huéspedes. Este NO es un resort o hotel impersonal, pero tiene todas las comodidades que puede necesitar o desear para cocinar, relajarse, nadar, jugar. Clean and Comfotable

All in all it was exactly what we needed. We don’t spend a lot of time “staying” in our unit, so it was perfect. We had a couple of small issues during the stay (wi-fi, hot water, AC) but Tina the property manager was extremely responsive and handled everything as quickly as possible. Property is located 3 blocks from the beach, and is accessible to everything! If you want a comfortable spot to sleep and regroup, highly recommend!

Couple of weeks in Coronado

Excellent efficiency condo, directly on beach. Accurate pictures, clean, easy check-in. Host is excellent communicator and very helpful. Location to restaurants and groceries walkable. It would be a 5-star rating from me except the first few days had a sewage smell in the evenings / night. This was apparently a building issue and did get fixed but diminished the overall stay.

A wonderful experience!

From great communication before we got there, to a friendly face while we were on site, Sarah made sure we had everything we needed for a wonderful time while we were in Panama. It was our first adventure out of the USA, and with her guidance we had a ride scheduled as soon as we landed, and reliable transportation either by using her local contacts or renting her SUV while onsite. The location is minutes from the beach and local restaurants. If we didn't want to drive, there supermarkets and restaurants within a 15 - 20 minute walk. We are already talking about returning to Panama, though we just got back a few days ago, and we will definitely be contacting Sarah for the next time.

As advertised and everything we needed.

Our casita was ready when we arrived, even though we had to arrive early due to some transportation issues. Our unit (Toucan) was really a very large studio, but it suited exactly what we needed. A king bed, a decent sized closet and a small kitchen with a table, stove and modest sized fridge, much larger than a dorm fridge but not a 25 cu ft unit. The stove was a full up four burner stove and oven. The stove worked fairly well but the burners were either on or off. The kitchen was well equipped with pots and pans and cooking utensils. There were a variety of plates, bowel, glasses and utensils there. I'd suggest a stop at either El Rey or Super 99 to get a few things like tea, coffee, butter and such. Get in, unpack and look at the kitchen. Call Dagoberto (or have Diana call him). Whatsapp is heavily used in Panama and is the best way to communicate. Use Google translate to cut&paste your requests and the replies. Taxis are cheap, $3-4 for most destinations. Uber is also available but not reliable as to when. There are a number of restaurants a short taxi away and some in walking distance.We rented a golf cart for a day but probably should have just used a taxi. There's a washer there but the dryer is solar and wind powered, ie a clothes line. The water is fine and we had no concerns drinking it anywhere. At the grocery store buy local or pay 50-100% more for American brands, although some American brands are made locally. Bring lots of $1 and $5 bills.

Stay - March 5-10, 2023

Great pool and outdoor setting. It was nice to have access to a washing machine after more than a week of travelling. You really need a was to a car or at least a golf (which is available on site) as Coronado is so spread out. It’s a gated community and definitely attracts an older demographic (like is!).

Lovely Casitas 🌴

We loved our stay in Casa Rana at Panama Sarahs Casitas. It was just as described: a comfortable bed, a beautiful kitchen, a lovely pool and garden, friendly staff and a great location! We found the buses and cabs easy to get around in. We had a lot of laughs with the other casa residents and made some new friends. Sarah was funny, friendly and so willing to help in any situation. We had to leave early due to a family emergency and Sarah changed all of our travel arrangements for us when I wasn't even sure where to start. She made a stressful situation easier to bear. We can't wait to return!

Nice Quiet Place

This place was very quaint and affordable. It was just what we needed after spending time in the city. I love the meditation garden and pool. The beach was in walking distance and our host was flexible and accommodating.

Awesome/ relaxing vacation

This casita was everything that was promised. We stayed in the bachelor unit which features a bedroom/ living area with a small kitchen and private bathroom. Kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to make full meals. The outside area is beautiful! Features a pool with waterfall and many different seating areas (2 of which are covered). There’s also a barbecue to use, ping pong table and hammocks. You couldn’t ask for a better oasis of you are looking for some rest and relaxation! 5 min walk to the ocean

Wonderful Stay

Everything here was as advertised. The check-in was flawless. The owner set up a WhatsApp group chat so nothing was over-looked. The on-site property managers were prompt, and spoke both English and Spanish, which was very helpful. The accommodations have been recently updated and the casitas were spotless. The best part was the pool and the grounds. Just beautiful. Thanks Sarah, Carlos and Luisa. We will be back for sure.

The outdoor (garden and pool) are the highlight of the place. Casitas are just about average, kitchen needs improvement. Frequent long power and internet interruptions related to weather. Hardly any tv choices for English speaking guests. Needs many improvements.

Wonderful, relaxing stay

We were looking for R&R after a rough 3 months and the Toucan Casita delivered. Peaceful, well equipped and a short walk to the beach. Available golf cart let us explore some. A $4 taxi gets you to restaurants or great grocery store.

Sarah and Scott were such wonderful hosts, providing a clean , quiet, comfortable stay in their beautiful well managed property a short walk from the beach. The pool area was delightful, well designed and very pleasant. We especially appreciated the scent of flowers and birds singing. Can’t wait to go back!

Panama stay.

We visited Panama in June 2019 and stay in Sarah’s casitas (Toucan). If you look for a peace, nice garden and enjoy the pool this is a place for you. Very nice place and beautiful garden but that is all. Do not expect American standard in the casitas. The beach is very close but there is no beach (If the tides are high no beach). During our stay for 9 days only one day we could walk on this beach for few hours only. The waves are very high on this side as well. Long story making short you can’t enjoy the beach at this place. To find a nice beach you need a car to go to Punta Chame or Santa Clara about 40 km from the property. You can rent the golf cart to go to restaurants or to groceries stores but if you really want to enjoy the beauty of Panama you need a car. The cheapest rental is at the airport but be careful, you need to check exactly how much you would pay included Good insurance. The price for rental car should be around $20.00/day. In Coronado you will pay around $38.00/day. In Coronado is not much to do. If you need enjoy some tourist activities, you need a car. All trips are from Panama City. You must go to San Blas island; it is amazing, and you can even stay for a night or too. It is wort it! In generally Panama is cheap if you don’t buy imported products. Panama City is expensive, but you need to see the city, the Panama Canal, Casco Viejo, Gamboa rainforest. In Panama City we stay in Casa Antiqua hotel. Great hotel, great service, great location. The hotel is located in Casco Viejo and we recommend it. Many nice properties to buy in Panama. I think about ¾ of Panama is for sale. Properties are inexpensive even cheap. If I would buy? NO!!! Panamanian are not friendly, and they are showing that you are not welcome here. You can live there probably cheaper than in USA in a nice home or apartment even ocean view with bars in the windows and unfriendly environment. The only nice and very friendly Panamanian we met was Pedro (the driver who pick us up from the airport) and Franco receptionist from The Casa Antiqua Hotel. From Pedro we learned a lot and visited many good places in Panama City. I recommend Pedro as a driver and tour guide.

Vacation in Coronado

Had a great time at casa Toucan for the 2 short trips to Coronado, Panama. The property had all essentials and comforts (kitchen/linens/AC) to relax and wind down, especially the BBQ and pool areas. The property manager Jacqueline was very helpful showing me how to discover the Coronado area, and it was nice to have an on-site manager to take care of everything, it shows she enjoys living in Panama and among the casitas and guests. She put together an impromptu BBQ at the Casa and invited all of the guests, with a catered BBQ feast with beans and potato salad and the best ribs and brisket.... If I ever get back to Coronado, I'll be staying in Toucan (the best !) casita. All in all, I'm glad I picked Panama Sarah's Casitas...

My original booking was to stay 3 days at Panama Sarah's, and after being in contact through her general manager Jacqueline she made it more inviting for me to come in a day early, as she kept informing me about this YaYi BNQ dinner that we're going to have on Friday night and that that other guest staying near but, they we're all going to get together. We had a great time meeting new people and having great Back yard smoke BBQ... I enjoyed the Villas that she accommodating me in it was a sufficient room with air conditioning with everything that you need when you're on vacation lots of towels lots of beach towels kitchen facility was great I'm one that eats out but I enjoyed staying here cooking for myself and or cooking for other guests. vice versa meeting different people. I left for a few days to stay up in the mountains I was so anxious to come back I rebooked another two nights and came back and stayed with them again and as always her manager Jacquelin got everyone together again amd set up a dinner where we can all go out and have dinner and a few drinks and enjoy the atmosphere I recommend this place 100% I'm looking forward to coming back soon.... When I rebooked my 2 extra night Panama Sarah was very accommodating to fit me in Thank you Sarah and thank you Jacqueline create kind help and hospitality see you guys soon cheers

Chillin in Panama

The property was so peaceful and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We stayed in the larger casita which was well equipped with kitchen items. Since we wanted to cook and be nearby everything, we definitely stayed at the perfect place! Julie, the owner's assistant helped us get settled in right away. The pool felt so refreshing after a day in the hot sun and is just beautiful with all the surrounding palms and greenery. We just loved our experience!
