Very old furniture

The 2 dogs next door and upstairs were loud. There were holes in couch. The table was sticky. No kitchen sink. Hard to figure out where to find unit. Instructions confusing. Porch dirty. No place to hang up our clothes. Cob webs on door. Spider inside. Fly in window sill. Game drawer a mess. Parts missing for each game.

Strawberry Getaway

We were very pleased with the location of this property, it was close to some of our favorite places to eat in Strawberry - Within walking distance! Also this was an excellent property for our dog the yard was wonderful and fenced. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice place to stay in Strawberry

We enjoyed our stay here. The owner, Taylor, was nice and helpful. The place was clean and cozy. I'd stay there again.

Pretty clean inside, not so much outside.

Cons: Near a busy road and view of other rentals in front and beside. No instruction on where to go exactly, there's a walkway on the right of the house that leads down to the vrbo. Trash on the walkway made me think I wasn't supposed to go down that way. No direction on where to park. Ants and dust/spiderwebs on everything on the porch. Overwhelming smell of pot. To each their own, it's legal of course but it still stinks regardless. No amount of freshener helped. Bugs in the bathroom. Pros: relatively clean and well stocked. Quiet inside even with people upstairs. Couch and bed were comfortable, roomy enough for 3-4 people. AC is not accessible but it was around 68 so nice and cool. Host was communicative at offering suggestions and let us know about the emergency evacuation that caused us to have to end our trip early and not complete our stay on the 2nd day. Overall not terrible, but I can't say I would stay here again or reccomend it.

Mountain getaway

Great experience!! Nice little 1bd. Hotel/room. Comfy couch and bed. Great wifi. I liked that the bedroom was separated from the living area. Has a microwave, fridge, toaster, and coffee maker. Grill and hot tub outside. Excellent communication with owners. I would stay here again and I recommend it to others.

Cute, perfect place

Came here with my girlfriend for the geminid meteor shower, figured there'd be little to no light pollution. Clean place, good living space. Despite some light pollution from the inns across the road, I was even able to see meteors while sitting in the hot tub! Easy check in, easy to access, and we don't wanna leave! Will be staying here again for future trips to Strawberry!

Perfect fit

Rented this place for me, my teenage son and his friend. We knew we would be in the outdoors most of the time, so were looking for a place to sleep and shower. Has a small fridge, we kept that in mind. Spent a lot of time on the porch. They had enough parking room for my UTV and the haul trailer.

Nice Mountain Getaway

Visited area to see local family and others that traveled from out of state. This was a small but very comfortable property, it provided everything we need for our stay. Suited our needs perfectly. Would definately reserve for another stay. Owners were friendly and helped us with the questions we asked.. .

Nice

On the plus, the property is walking distance to a few restaurants and the owners were very nice and helpful and the suite is exceptionally clean and comfortable. On the negative (for us anyway) we didn't know that the owners lived right above us however, we really did not hear them at all. and the property looks over a very busy roadway (daytime anyway). There is a small refrigerator and remember no stove although we made due with that.

"The Fossil Creek Speedway"

Probably the most bothersome fact for this getaway is the fact that the back of the cabin (where I stayed) was about 200 feet from Fossil Creek road where there was constant traffic (very loud and disturbing). Also, building of the Tiny Houses across the street did not help...no peace and quiet when sitting outside on the deck. The deck needs to be covered so that the dog droppings upstairs do not fall below. There was a fair amount that fell down on top of the chairs -esp. when it rained and made it impossible to enjoy. :-( The next item would be that there is no thermostat in the cabin to control the temp- it was managed upstairs by the owner and kept at 68 degrees at all times. To improve their appeal for future bookings, I highly recommend they at least, install a small sink in the "kitchen" area as it was mighty inconvenient washing dishes in the bathtub. And even a small hotplate would be valuable. Perhaps a redo is in order. Overall, it's basically a nice cabin and I had a great time there. Just a few things that could be improved. But of course, the hardest one is the location and with the building of the new tiny houses, the traffic noises will only worsen over time. I will not be staying here again. Thank you Taylor and Candice - you were greats hosts! p.s.- I really appreciated the repair of the hot tub

Would stay there again

The house was very clean. The scenery is very pretty around the property. It was cozy and very comfortable for 2 people. Check in was super easy.

Great little place!

This place was in a great location easily accessible from nearby Pine but far enough away to be quiet and secluded. It was very clean and stocked with all the necessities. It was incredibly easy to check in, and the owner provided us with a spot to park right out in front. We really enjoyed the hiking trails, walking around Pine, and then coming back and sitting on the porch to enjoy the cool weather. We would definitely stay here again.

Very clean and cozy

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this property. The realtors communication was great and helpful. The only downfall was that the hot tub wasn't working, other than. It was a great stay.

Nice stay

Property is beautiful. The place is cute and well sized with great amenities. However, the place was not ready by check in so we had to leave for an hour then come back. We also were upset that the hot tube that was in the online add was not working, which is one reason we chose the property. Communication was a little weird as we could not call text or email…we had to go up and ask in person which then we felt like we were bugging our host. All around a good stay. We made burgers on the grill, s’mores at night in the barrel downstairs, saw elk, took a starlight walk, and enjoyed the nice weather on the porch. We also left early to hike fossil creek which was a blast.
