Swiss Alp Chalet is an updated mid century modern home with views of the rolling hills of the Swiss Alp community. Easy access to US Hwy 77 to get you where you need to go to explore the area. Located 6 miles north of Schulenburg and 10 miles south of La Grange. Three bedrooms, two baths, kitchen, with living areas, our guests have plenty of room to gather with up to 10 people comfortably. During the warmer months guests can make a splash in the screened in back yard pool. Self check in.

Great place to stay for a weekend getaway with friends. Enjoyed spending time just relaxing in and around the pool! Only downfall is the road noise being just off a busy highway.

Great Chalet!

Very nice convenient and enjoyable stay. There is everything you need and feel welcomed. We stayed for our son’s wedding just down the road so it was nice and close for our elderly.

Great stay

The house was beautiful & very spacious. The rooms were all large which made it easy to get ready with 7 others. Would definitely recommend this house to any other large group/ family staying in schulenberg ! Thank yall

It was a nice and cozy home for my parents to stay at while I’m town for a wedding. We had an issue with one of my parents bringing a pet but she worked with me to correct the issue.

Relaxing Family Time

Our family stayed at the Swiss Alp Chalet for a short weekend to attend a family wedding and the annual Schulenburg Sausagefest, and it was a great choice for our group. The home comfortably hosted our family of 6 and added a relaxing vibe to our busy trip. The countryside is beautiful. The home was clean, warm and welcoming. Plenty of bath towels and accessories was a great touch. And providing pool towels was an excellent touch! We just wish the weather would have been more corporative to have fully enjoyed the pool by all. Maybe next time!

WONDERFUL!!

Lovely property. Everything was clean and easy process. Property has everything you would need. Highway is close, but only really noticeable during the day. Not a concern for us. We had a great stay and would not hesitate staying again. ❤️

Perfect house/location!

Me and my sisters went here for a girls weekend to relax….boy did we relax and chill out in the pool! The house was very clean and the pool was awesome! We stayed in the pool all day Saturday!! DeLisa was very fast to respond to us! House was the perfect size to spread out in and had everything we needed! Can’t wait to go back and do this again! Thank you for sharing your place with us girls!!!

So convenient, great location

Decided to do a 4 day antiquing trip...we usually just do three, so we were thrilled to find this jewel. The house is very comfortable, spacious, and extremely clean....Kitchen well appointed, had everything we needed...Beds comfy...Pool looked so inviting, but it was way too cold, maybe we will have warmer weather, in the fall. We are looking forward to booking it again in the near future. We felt very safe. Communication was perfect...check in and out was a breeze. There were tour guides, brochures, and flyers on area attractions, we will try to catch those next time.

Proximity to local venues/attractions.

Pretty much everything we needed. We were not aware of the closeness to the highway. At times the noise could be quite loud. Sound machines are in the bedrooms, but did not really eliminate the noise. Great location if you are using the venue next door.

Great House!

We came to Round Top to shop and rented this house for 2 nights. Was a great place to stay with a well equipped kitchen and very comfy beds! If you are using the hall next door to get married you should not hesitate and rent this house!!!

Lovely Time

Girls Road Trip

I took my daughters and granddaughter and daughter-in-law and two grandsons to Schulenburg to see the painted churches. Little did I know it was right next-door to my old stomping grounds… Swiss Alp Dancehall where arI used to dance frequently when I was in high school! So fun for all of us. The house was fabulous.We just loved our stay there!

I have been self employed since 1986 and have never looked back. Realizing early on in life I loved to work and being self employed was just the next step in making a career for myself. This BnB will be my fourth endeavor as entrepreneur and am excited to meet the Chalet's guests and learn of their journey.
