Welcome to The Rainbow Lodge
Escape to The Rainbow Lodge, a stunning cabin tucked away in the serene Coosawattee River Resort, right along the beautiful Mountaintown Creek. Enjoy the peace and quiet as you watch geese land, deer graze nearby, and the majestic Blue Heron makes a visit. Cool off with a swim or grab a tube and float your worries away. Pure magic awaits you here!

The Space
This five-star cabin has it all! It’s recently remodeled and packed with luxury: top-notch hair care products, super comfy bedding, a gourmet kitchen, and more. Dive into fun with a game room featuring Air Hockey and Foosball, or kick back in the movie room with a massive 65" Smart TV. Choose between two cozy fireplaces, the firepit, or relax in the hot tub. With two king master suites that each have a balcony overlooking the river, you won't find a more perfect spot.

Guest Access
You’ll have full access to the entire home, plus nearly 1,000 feet of private riverfront as we own additional lots and homes nearby.

Other Things to Note
-Rates: Base rate covers 4 guests. Each extra guest (up to 8 total) adds $15 per night.
-Pets: We allow one dog (50 lbs max, 2+ years old) with a vet certificate and photo. A
$35/night pet fee applies with a $70 minimum.
-Internet: Enjoy lightning-fast fiber internet!
-Getting Here: The last stretch ~1/3 of a mile is a gravel road, but any 2 wheel drive car
will be fine. On-street parking for up to 3 cars is available with multiple stairs down to
the entry of the cabin.
-Climate Control: AC/Heat limits are preset to 72/76°F. Adjustments to 68/80°F can be
made for an additional $10/night.
-Support: We’re local and available anytime during your stay. Our Welcome Book has all
the insider tips for the area.

Coosawattee River Resort offers tons of fun with pools, tennis courts, a rec center, and more—all included with a $60 Resort Fee for up to 8 adults (kids are free). Don’t forget to return the Guest Cards at the end of your stay to avoid a replacement fee.

This cabin had the most beautiful views we've seen. The listing is accurate, and we had everything we needed. The host provided very detailed communication which made our trip seamless. The deer on the property and on the drive in were the perfect addition to a great trip. Highly recommend this host and we will be using again.

We had the most amazing time staying at The Rainbow Lodge. It was just as described-clean and so detail oriented. The view from the living room is exceptional overlooking the creek. We saw so many deer and other wildlife. Brad provided detailed instructions, tips, and information for our stay at their house and Ellijay. He was very responsive through text as well. We would most definitely stay here again. We played the family games by the fire. Our family had the best time. Thank you!!

This was a great weekend getaway for my husband and I. The sight of the river from the living room was absolutely beautiful! Cabin was clean and very homey. Even though we brought our own, they provide a dog kennel and dog bowls for your pup. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. The owners are very responsive and make sure that you have an open line of communication to easily get a hold of them, if needed. My husband and I would definitely stay here again.

Just make sure you are fit and in shape because the steps to cabin can kick your butt if you are out of shape. Lol. Still not impossible to enjoy. The river view and other amenities are worth it though. We had a blast!

Couldn’t be more perfect

What a beautiful property! The pictures don’t do it justice! Accessing it is not very convenient bc you need to park your car on the street and hike 2 flights of stairs to get to the cabin but I will tell you it is worth it! Beautiful views from every window. So tranquil! We loved having such great, private access to the river. We swam in its cool waters every day. When you are in the hot tub you feel like you are in a treehouse. The wildlife is prolific. The deer came right up to us. Truly a magical property! Not only does it have the gorgeous river, it also has a tumbling stream on the side of the house. The kitchen is small and somewhat tucked away, but very well stocked and modern. The upstairs master is gorgeous and very comfortable. Has a spacious en-suite. We loved that each of the main bedrooms had their own private decks. The main level bedroom is comfortable but it’s en-suite is small with no counter space. The bottom level of the cabin is spacious and very comfortable as well. It has a fun game room and nice den area with tv and Xbox. The bunk room is wonderful and it’s bathroom is spacious. The entire cabin is clean and impeccably maintained and just a pure joy to stay in. All in all this was our favorite cabin that we have rented in the area. We will definitely be renting it again. The complementary apple pie was a wonderful treat. The host was easy to connect with, responsive and very professional.

Relaxing getaway!

We really enjoyed our getaway to the Rainbow Lodge. The location was very scenic on the river and the property is extremely clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The location is remote enough to have some privacy but convenient to downtown Elijay (just under 20 minutes). The cabin is probably the most well-equipped place we have rented, with ample supplies available and a lot of attention to detail, including coffee and hot cocoa provisions. We appreciated that they provided for our pup as well, including dog bed, bowls, and blankets. Although it rained some during our stay we stayed entertained with air hockey, games, XBox, and comfy media room. The host is very helpful and provides a ton of information. We would certainly rent again!

Weekend getaway

Over all the property was as presented in listing. The disappointing factor was the hot tub not working properly. We based our search and decision on this amenity and for it to not heat properly was a let down . Honestly I feel there was more than enough communication from management .hope they can get things working before next group arrives.

Great family getaway!

Awesome property, beautiful cabin, ideal family location! We couldn’t have had a better stay with our kids over fall break. There were too many small touches to name, but games and activities for the kids, a beautiful river location, quiet, serene, a nice hot tub, a great fire pit, great windows and views, many different ways to enjoy the property both inside and out! Brad and his team did a wonderful job, and had the clearest communication for any rental we’ve had. We will be back! Easiest 5/5 rating we could give!

We have been visiting the area as a family a few times each year for the past 6 or 7 years. This was definitely one of our best experiences. The cabin was just as described and included so many “nice touches” it is hard to remember them all. The complimentary apple pie, Keurig coffee stations in the rooms, games, welcome guide, ample linens, and cleaning supplies all made us feel welcome and comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked, and I could not think of anything I needed that was not provided. I am used to needing to bring a few things like measuring cups and storage containers, but I did not need them on this trip. The attention to detail was top notch! We loved the access to the creek, hot tub overlooking the creek, fire pit, and comfortable movie room for the evenings. It was so peaceful to sit on the deck and listen to the creek, watch the geese glide by, or see the deer feeding in the woods. Brad was also very attentive and checked in to make sure everything was going well. We just cannot say enough positive things, and this cabin will be at the top of our list when we have a chance to return!

Magical Stay in Ellijay

Pictures don't do this property justice. We were thoroughly impressed by the location of the cabin, the setup and cleanliness of the cabin and the amenities of the neighborhood. We felt secluded enough without being in the middle of nowhere. Our kids LOVED the river, it's perfect for jumping from rock to rock, fishing and feeding the geese. We enjoyed the firepit every night & the beds were very comfortable! The Keurig in each bedroom was a great touch :) We will definitely be staying again.

Relaxing Mountain getaway

The property is beautiful and very well equipped. We had 2 adults and 5 grandkids (6 to 17). The game room, hot tub and river access (and deer) were big hits with all. Brad was very proactive in providing great information about the home. We would recommend this rental (unless steps are a problem). 5 STARS

Beautiful Home in Paradise

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Rainbow Lodge. The house overlooked tranquil scenery, with water and fall leaves. It was the perfect weekend full of fire pit chats and friendly deer. The management team made sure we had everything we needed for the stay. They were super accommodating at every turn. Thank you so much for a great time.

Perfect Fall Getaway

The cabin was just perfect! My husband and older son fished, while my younger son jumped rocks and explored in the river. We warmed up in the hot tub, played cards at the round table, played air hockey and foosball and had a blast just being together. The beds were so comfortable and the views out the back were so peaceful. We loved our stay and absolutely recommend of you are looking for an Elijay getaway!

Riverside Fun

Brad is an amazing host. My comment to him before we arrived was that the information provided was pleasantly overwhelming. There are no surprises about the property and what is provided. He is very attentive. The house was exactly what we were looking for…situated right on the river with the ability to swim and enjoy right in front of the property. Our daughter walked up the river numerous times and rafted down. (Be sure to bring rafts if it’s a warm weather visit). We enjoyed fires and story telling in the evenings. We all had a fabulous time! The house does have stairs leading down to the entrance but it wasn’t a deterrent for us. We had a set of grandparents and a dog. The beds were comfy; kitchen well equipped; nice views; and good layout for a family. We had a challenge getting into the property but Brad owned it and made it good. If you want a riverside getaway in a cute little town like Ellijay, this property and location are great. We look forward to booking the property again!

This is what a call a excellent experience!!! Brad is a great host he did above and beyond, he thought about every single detail to make sure we had an amazing time!!! ( Keurig coffee maker in each bedroom 🤩 and even though about makeup towels in all bathrooms ❤️❤️). If I could I would give him 1000 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🤩 Great view, very peaceful place, the cabin is so beautiful, clean, super organized and great location I definitely recommend his place to all my friends and family!! The. Absolute. Best.

We loved everything about this property. The house was the perfect size and was perfectly equipped with everything we needed. The listing description of “lots of steps” is accurate…you will walk up and down lots of them, but it was totally worth it to us. We felt like the location at the bottom of the hill is part of what made it so private. The hosts were amazing - so responsive, friendly, and helpful. If we have a chance we will most definitely stay here again. LOVED IT!

"Our family of four (me, my husband, 8 year old and 6 year old children) had such a wonderful time at this property!!! It’s by far the cleanest VRBO we’ve ever stayed in and the amenities were amazing! So grateful for a place that has hand soap at every sink! Brad was so kind to bring us an apple pie to welcome us-and was so attentive throughout our stay! The river was perfect for our kids to “fish” and we used the fire pit every night for family time! Air hockey was also a huge hit!!! We enjoyed horseback riding in nearby Mineral Bluff, hiking to see the rock fire tower, antiquing, eating at The Pink Pig and visiting the local animal rescue-“Build an ark animal rescue”. We saw about 50 deer throughout our stay within the neighborhood! It was a perfect stay and we plan to visit again during warmer months! Thanks Brad!!!"

"This cabin (and owner) are amazing! It’s truly the cleanest cabin, with the best beds and linens. It has literally everything you need from Coffee makers, Kueregs, pots and pans, bathroom necessities, and so much more. Nothing is done cheaply. If we don’t buy our own ellijay cabin, we will definitely be back!!"

"A Wonderful Place! We absolutely loved staying here. RR Lodge is private, quiet, peaceful and the sound of the river was so relaxing. Kitchen was well stocked and bedrooms were so comfortable. The kids loved downstairs and everything it had to offer. We played in the river, enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit daily. Brad is a great host! So easy to work with and very accommodating.
