SIEMPRE ES GRANDE AQUÍ ... PESCAR EN SU EMBARCADERO PRIVADO, LLEVAR A LUNES POR LA LUNA EN LA PLAYA O MIRAR SOLES DE SOL EN LA BAHÍA EN LAS NOCHES DE STAR LIT.

No hay muchos de estos ... Disfrute de su propio muelle de pesca iluminado privado, sea testigo de espectaculares amaneceres en el Golfo y de puestas de sol en la bahía Little Drum. Y lo mejor de todo, si trae su bote, puede lanzar y estacionar al lado en el lanzamiento de bote pavimentado y privado y dejar su bote estacionado en nuestro muelle privado.

Terminada en junio de 2008, esta casa tiene dos balcones cubiertos muy grandes que dan a Little Drum Bay. Mire a los niños pescar en el muelle iluminado mientras se balancea suavemente en la hamaca futón diseñada para albergar a dos adultos. Lea su libro favorito, tome una siesta o tome su bebida favorita mientras observa las espectaculares puestas de sol.

En el interior, podrá relajarse en el amplio y abierto plano diseñado para acomodar grupos de todos los tamaños. La cocina cuenta con electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable. Los cocineros gourmet disfrutan poder preparar sus platos favoritos, escuchando su música favorita mientras contemplan las vistas de la bahía.

Hay tres habitaciones en la planta superior, pero una en la planta baja para la llegada ocasional de la noche o los ronquidos del abuelo.

La playa está a solo 1. 5 cuadras de distancia. Carga las sillas, la sombrilla, la nevera y el putter a la playa para construir castillos de arena, tablas de surf, surf o simplemente relajarte y disfrutar de las vistas. Cuando llegue a casa, enjuáguese bajo la ducha exterior con agua fría y caliente.

Al final del día, puede jugar juegos de mesa con la familia, sentarse bajo las estrellas, hacer fuego sobre el fuego en la hoguera o ver películas o la televisión.

Hay una variedad de otras actividades que incluyen restaurantes locales, golf putt-putt, Moody Gardens, parque acuático Schlitterbahn, el museo de la fuerza aérea confederada y The Strand, una zona comercial de clase mundial en Galveston.

Grandson’s wedding

Families from Iowa and Wisconsin gathered to help with and attend a wedding. The kitchen had what was needed to prepare meals and food for the families and a rehearsal dinner (off site). The large dining table was appreciated. Beach and bay activities ARE the best of both worlds. Would definitely stay there again.

Amazing Family Getaway!

We had an amazing time here on our summer vacation! Our party of 12 fit very comfortably in the home. Everyone had fun fishing and the beach, which is less than 3 minutes drive away, was clean and beautiful. The Surfside Market is five minutes down the road, which came in very handy for water and supplies. Loved our time here and grateful for the great communication with the hosts. Thank you again!

Family beach vacation

We enjoyed the home. There were seven of us Ian’s we had plenty of room. Beds were comfortable. Beautiful views of the bay. Enjoyed fishing at the pier and we look forward to visiting again!

Grandkids meet the ocean!

Our family had a great time fishing off the dock and visiting the beach. We had a crab boil, which was delicious. There was even a brief visit from an alligator. The kids loved getting to see different species of crabs in action. We were a little disappointed that the launch next to the house was only big enough for kayaks, but everyone still had lots of fun. This place is great for a family gathering because it's close to Galveston and Houston and the beach and fishing!

The property was very clean and contained everything you you could need for a comfortable stay. I was impressed by how well the kitchen was stocked with accessories necessary to cook any meal. The beach was only a two minute ride and there was a hot/cold shower to rinse off in before entering the hose. The entire family enjoyed the stay.

Excellent fishing retreat

Right in the center of great fishing spots. Fish drum bay from the private dock or take your boat/kayak up to the connecting Christmas bay just a couple miles away. Also from the cabin if you turn left on blue water hwy it’s only 10 minute drive to San Luis Pass. Or turn right and drive 10 minutes to the Freeport jetties. The cabin itself great….clean, comfortable, and accommodating. Easily slept 8 people with room to spare.

Great place for families

Overall, it was a really nice trip. The only thing wrong was the faucet in the upstairs bathroom was broken. The owner did state it was ordered and would be replaced. Bring your off, the mosquitos were bad.

Best of both worlds!

We love this home on the bay and across the street from the beach! The kids enjoy crabbing right from the deck and the house has crabbing traps and a canoe for the guests use. We have been here many times and after this trip the entire family agreed this is our favorite VRBO rental!

Wonderful Gulfside Property

My sister and I were surprising our parents with a trip to the beach and this was the perfect place for us. We took family pictures on the pier, got sunburned on the beach, went fishing and enjoyed the day. I didn’t see a fire pit but with the weekend being so humid and mosquito-y we didn’t spend too much time outside except the last night when we went fishing. If we ever went back to the gulf this is where we would stay.

So glad I brought my fishing pole

Absolutely stunning! We all, hands down, agreed it was one of the best last minute planned getaways ever. The house is cozy, welcoming and very comfortable. If you are looking for technology, this is not it. The wifi was very good but the tv is basic - no streaming in the family area. There is a FireStick upstairs but who cares. The view, the water and the highlight in our opinion was the double decks. We literally lived on the decks. The sunrise and set are amazing. Two never came down. I fished (last minute decision) and caught stingrays, crabs, catfish and crocker. Extremely relaxing. The owners are so sweet! The previous reviews are spot on so I will not repeat - we needed nothing except food. Can't wait to come back.

This is the only place I will ever stay at Surfside. I love the owners and the place is perfect. Every time we stay here we build new outstanding memories!!! The owners are so awesome, especially if you need help or have questions. Their goal is to always make sure you have fun!!! The house is always spotless when we get there and we leave nothing but our footprints. I can’t wait for next time

Great stay

We enjoyed our stay. Overall, we are very happy with the property, amenities, and the stay we were offered. Some of the deck railing was missing which left holes large enough for my toddler to potentially fit through. We didn’t let her get close enough to the edge anyway, but if she had, it could have potentially be dangerous. Inside could have been cleaner upon arrival, but it was fine. There were some ants inside. We really did enjoy our stay though! And we loved the space we had for the amount of people we brought.

Great Stay!

We highly recommend this home! It was beautiful staying right on the bay and out of the hustle and bustle of the city! We enjoyed the dock and sitting on the upper patio watching the sunsets! Our grandkids loved riding their scooters on the patio and it was great being so close to the beach! Most days the beach was pretty empty so we felt like we had it all to ourselves! We would love to stay again!

Bay home w a view

Wonderful weekend getaway with family- kids age 2 to 86! Great bay home with a wonderful view of the bay and sunset providing great bird watching. Beach just a short walk away. We had a great time and hope to return.

Surfside Beach is a quiet community - very family friendly - clean, wide open beaches. All the nitelife, restaurants and shopping are only a short drive away - 20 minutes to Lake Jackson and only 32 minutes to Galveston - but you don't have all the traffic and huge crowds

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

It is just a short walk or drive to the beach and you can still enjoy all the perks of a home on the bay - your own private lighted fishing pier - gorgeous sunsets on the bay - plenty of room in the yard to play and no traffic as on the beach
