Welcome to The Balkan Cabin B at Sasquatch Mountain – your perfect ski-in, ski-out getaway. This spacious cabin comfortably accommodates 12+ guests and offers a memorable mountain retreat with 6 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms, spread over 3 levels.

Entertainment: Enjoy Shaw Direct satellite TV, Resort Wi-Fi with high-speed internet, a 75" TV with 5.1 surround sound in the "media room", and an arcade gaming system with 1800 games.
Relaxation: Unwind in the 8-person hot tub, rejuvenate in the steam shower, or enjoy outdoor cooking with a Weber BBQ.
Gourmet Kitchen: Fully stocked with everything you need to create meals for your group, plus a wine fridge in the kitchen island, a large sink, and professional-grade Frigidaire appliances.
Main Level:

Open-concept kitchen and great room with a stunning 20-foot ceiling.
Spacious sectional couch that's extra deep and comfy.
Powder room with a 3-piece bath and stand-up shower.
One queen bedroom with a loft bed above – perfect for children or an extra guest.
Basement:

A dedicated theater/games room featuring a 75" Samsung TV, 5.1 surround sound, Netflix, Disney+, and Shaw Direct satellite TV for endless entertainment.

Wonderful stay!

We had an amazing time staying at Mike's place. Very easy check in and check out. Mike was very good at answering any questions. Everyone said how much they loved the place. It really is beautifully decorated. We all said how we would love to come back. Highly recommend!

The place was great, we surprised my mother in law for her birthday and there was space for her grandchildren and children to stay. Mike was in communication throughout and answered any questions we had. We all had a great time!

A great cabin for groups

We had a great time at Mike’s cabin! It was well equipped for cooking, very clean and modern and plenty of space for our group of 8. Mike was responsive and a great host. We had an awesome stay and would definitely book again. Thank you Mike!

A home away from home.

My group of 13 and I was more than pleased with this home. It had everything we needed and had plenty of space even with such a large group. The modern touches on everything and the overall cleanliness exceeded our expectations. The owner Mike was very easy to reach and provided extra tips & points along the way. Easily one of the best, if not the best getaway home we’ve stayed at.

Truly the best ski in ski out at Sasquatch

We had a wonderful trip from start to finish. The host had wonderful communication and left out a lovely note thanking us for renting his home. The house was more than we could have asked for; clean, organized, fully stocked, perfect layout, an arcade games centre downstairs for the kids, a clean hot tub and so many hooks for hanging all the ski gear in the entry way! The property was ski in ski out so the location alone was an 11/10! We cannot wait for our next trip to this amazing home!

Stunning Accommodation

We had the pleasure of staying at this amazing home. Upon entry the house was noticeably freshly cleaned and sanitized. The attention to detail with both decor and general supplies was greatly appreciated. The owners took the time to clearly label and organize everything throughout the home which made our stay seamless. I would highly recommend this property for other families. We will definitely be back again.

Great House!

We rented Mike's place for a work retreat. The house is beautiful. It was large enough to accommodate our group of 7 adults. High quality furnishings, nice touches throughout the house, great views, and a super cozy large couch in the main living room. Mike was easy to deal with and very responsive. Highly recommended.

Amazing place and host!

It’s a beautiful house on the ski hill of Hemlock Valley. It’s about 30 minutes to town but there’s a little cafe and pub within 5 minutes drive if you need anything. It’s quiet and peaceful. The house is tastefully renovated and it has a very well stocked kitchen. Beds are as advertised and we only used half of the beds for a group of 6. Everything is clean. Michael is a great host and always responsive and willing to go above and beyond. We would highly recommend this place to other travelers!

Beautiful getaway from Vancouver

Mike was always available for questions and answered promptly.The property was beautiful and clean. It had everything you needed in the kitchen and common space. Bathrooms and beds are something we always fight over but there was plenty of them for all my friends.The decoration was such a nice touch in the living room. I would definitely recommend this property and hope to come back next time I also really appreciate Mike gifting us wine and Nespresso pods, as it was my birthday that weekend. One feedback would be to have a couple hot tub designated towels, or ask guest to bring their own hot tub towels. I would hate to dirty their white indoor towels.

Outstanding Mountainside home to enjoy fresh clean, crisp air.

We have just returned from a three day weekend gateway at this lovely mountainside home. The owners have done an amazing job at decorating the newly built home in a true mountain home spirit, that will leave lasting memories for my children. The place is meticulously clean and the owners truly care about their vacation home. The entire home has everything you need to make it an easy extension of a well-appointed home. The kitchen is inviting and has more than you will need during your gateway. There is an awesome Weber BBQ for getting a great grill in while you are mountainside. The owners also provide a great little thank you gift when you first walk-in and that immediately puts a smile on your face and gets you ready for a great first night. The home has an user manual that was very useful as the home is newly built and have some techie additions. We have been to many great vacation rentals and this one is truly worth booking as the owners take great pride in their home away from home. Thank you for sharing your home with our family. We highly recommend this mountainside home and we will definitely return here with our family to enjoy snow while its raining at our home.

A beautiful home with stunning views

My husband and I do an annual weekend getaway with our group of friends and we were happy to find a location that could fit all of us. Plenty of bedrooms and lots of space for everyone. We enjoyed using the hottub and playing games in the living room. There’s a pub walking distance from the house which was a nice spot to grab a drink/lunch. The home was beautiful and very clean which we appreciated. Would definitely recommend

Beautiful family getaway home on quiet mountain.

Stunning home, fully equipped kitchen and bathrooms. We had a large group with young kids and so the seperate game/movie room was great. We went to the mountain pub one night and they were very accommodating of the large group. We can't wait for more amenities during the summer up there one day, though it was very quiet and peaceful Mountain. Also the host was wonderful with tips about the mountain and loads of instructions about the property! Made it so much easier to plan ahead 😊 The only cons where no A/C. We happened to come during a heatwave so it was a little toasty inside. I'm sure anyother time would be perfect.

Summer Getaway

The property was very clean and a nice space for our extended family. The purpose of the trip was to be together, which we certainly were! There isn't many activities to do on the mountain (yet) and no real 'outdoor' space at the property, so we spent a great deal of time around the kitchen and in the hot tub. There's lots of sleeping options, which worked well for our group.

Clean and bright

Mike is a great host. He quickly responds to questions and his hospitality made us feel instantly welcome when renting his chalet. We like to cook, so the big barbecue and quality kitchen were pluses. It was also one of the few places we found with enough sleeping spaces and bathrooms for our large group. Sasquatch Mountain is still developing, but there are some very nice hikes and lakes in the area for those looking to stay here in the summer.

Wonderful experience!

This house is stunning and well equipped. You can tell the owners take great pride and care of their property. The property was clean and well organized. You will have everything you need for a relaxing and fun getaway with friends and family! The hot tub was a great addition to the weekend.

Great Location!

The property is super clean with everything you'll need for your stay as well as a great location with views of the hill. We had more then enough room for our large group with the hot tub, steam shower and media/games room everyones favorite. The communication with Mike, the owner, was exceptional and made the process easy. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic Accommodation

Group of 12 of us stayed for several nights, could not recommend this accommodation more. There was more than enough room for 12 of us. The kids got to hang out downstairs while the adults where on the main floor. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen really well stocked. We used the BBQ one night as well as the hot tub. Easy access to the ski lifts. The owners were great to deal with and communication was swift.

A memorable family experience

We had such an amazing time at the mountain & staying in Mike’s home made our experience A+ The home was sparkling clean & decorated in such a way that it gave a warm and cozy feeling! Por qué escogió este alojamiento

A friend of ours had been telling us about Sasquatch Mountain Resort for quite some time. After visiting in Dec of 2016, we purchased this lot by Jan 7th 2017. It had everything to offer and we were excited to build a place for our family to have memories with while sharing it with others who wanted to visit. We have done a very good job in the layout as well as the items included. We are always open to hearing feedback from our guests and there is a suggestion box in the house as well.
